As soon as the system acknowledged it, a blinding flash of golden light briefly illuminated his vision before the rewards materialized out of thin air and fell in front of him.

As soon as the rewards appeared, the system chimed inside his head again and explained to him about the rewards. But looking at the rewards in front of him, Gu fan half listened to what the system was saying as a lecherous grin spread across his handsome face as he checked the contents.

Less than an hour after young master Song Tianyu left, a squad of six heavily armed Song Clan guards took up defensive positions around the outer bamboo grove.

On the other hand, two beautiful identical twin maids wearing highly revealing silk robes knocked timidly on the main pavilion door to serve their new master.

And as soon as Gu fan opened the doors, the six elite guards instantly dropped to one knee, and the one leading them respectfully lowered his head.

"Reporting to the supreme master, our young master Song Tianyu has dispatched us to serve as your absolute vanguard and personal protectors, and we are entirely ready to lay down our lives to defend you, Supreme master."

Gu Fan looked at them and nodded approvingly at their absolute submission.

the guards quickly came forward and as soon as they did, Gu fan pulled out two sealed parchment letters and two nicely wrapped silk packets from his storage ring.

"Take these to the Gu Clan and the Bai Clan immediately," Gu Fan ordered, handing the items over to the guards, "I have written the names to whom you need to deliver these things to."

"Make absolutely sure that these are handed directly to the whom you should and absolutely no one else, and if any servant tries to intercept them or take them from you, you refuse them and bring the packets right back here."

"I don’t anyone else getting these." Gu Fan was crystal clear.

"Yes, Supreme Master!" The guards bowed deeply to acknowledge the command and immediately vanished into the night.

"All of you can do whatever you want to," Gu fan dismissed the other guards and then turned his attention to the two beautiful, trembling twins who were still on their knees, trembling slightly and not even looking at Gu fan in the eyes.

"There is no need to tremble like that, little beauties," Gu Fan said patiently, crouching down slightly to gently lift their chins so he could look deeply into their eyes, "Are you not going to introduce yourselves to me?"

"This servant is called Qing’er, and my younger sister is Xue’er, Supreme Master!" the older twin whispered nervously, her cheeks flushing slightly from his warm touch.

"Well, Qing’er and Xue’er, just be at home. There is no need to be afraid of me," Gu Fan stood up and chuckled.

"I am not going to eat you, at least not tonight," Gu fan grinned as he spoke, "So just go inside, prepare a bath for me and make my bed. I am expecting company."

Meanwhile one of the two guards that Gu Fan had sent was already standing outside the front gates of the Gu Clan estate.

And as soon as he arrived, he was immediately intercepted by a dozen aggressive guards on duty with their drawn swords.

"Who are you? And what do you want?" The guards demanded. With the recent altercation with the Bai Clan, everyone in the Gu Clan was on high alert.

I am acting on behalf of my master to deliver a highly confidential missive directly into the hands of Matriarch Li Hua, and I will absolutely not hand it to anyone else," the Song guard to stand his ground and calmly state.

"Hand over the package right now so we can inspect it. And then you can leave it with us and leave."

"Anyone not a member of the Gu Clan and unknown items cannot enter the inside without a thorough search!" the lead Gu Clan guard barked fiercely, pushing the tip of his sword directly toward the Song guard’s chest.

"If you even try to touch this delivery with your filthy hands, I will simply turn around and take these priceless items right back to my master," The Song Clan guard could easily overpower the guards on his own but he was not going to create a scene here, "Then you can explain to your Matriarch why you denied her an incredibly urgent, highly valuable gift,"

"You..." As madam Li’s name was dropped, this made the aggressive Gu Clan guards hesitate a bit.

"You can escort me to the Matriarch’s Pavilion if you want. but I am going to hand over the letter and the packet to her only," the Song Clan guard countered coldly, crossing his arms and taking a deliberate step backward to show he was completely serious.

The Gu Clan guards thought about it for a second before they finally yielded with frustrated grunts.

Soon four guards escorted him straight through the inner courtyards.

"Matriarch, someone is here to see you." One of the maids informed Madam Li.

"Who sends a delivery at this hour?" Madam Li asked impatiently as she stepped out annoyed and looked down at the Song Clan guard who immediately dropped to one knee on the jade floor.

"Esteemed Matriarch, my master strictly ordered me to deliver this sealed letter and package directly into your hands," the guard replied respectfully, holding the items up above his head without looking at her curves, "I apologise deeply if I disturbed your rest."

"And who exactly is your master?" she pressed with a look of confusion on her face.

"My master’s identity is meant to remain entirely anonymous, but he assured me that the contents of the letter will explain everything."

Madam Li was a bit sceptical but she still gestured, prompting her maid to quickly step forward and carefully take the sealed letter and the small silk packet from the kneeling guard before cautiously delivering them right into the Matriarch’s waiting hands.

Madam Li broke the wax seal to read the parchment, and began reading. As she read through the letter, she recognised the elegant handwriting, and her frown instantly melted into a beautiful, deeply affectionate smile.

However after reading the letter when she opened the accompanying silk packet, her smile completely vanished, instantly replaced by a massive, furious blush that spread all the way to the tips of her ears as her eyes widened in unadulterated shock.

She frantically snapped the packet shut and hid it against his chest, trying to make sure no maid or servant could see it.

"Husband... You fool!" Madam Li bit her lower lip as she looked around at her staff.

"All of you, leave this courtyard immediately and do not dare to disturb me for the rest of the night," Madam Li ordered sharply to her servants, and once everyone had left, she hastily retreated back into her chambers all the while cursing Gu Fan.

"What an absolutely shameless, lecherous pervert!"

At the same time, a nearly identical scene unfolded within the Bai Clan estate.

Bai Bing received her own perfectly sealed letter and matching packet from the second guard, and the moment she saw it her icy exterior completely shattered into a deep red blush the moment she peeked inside the silk wrapping.

Her heart pounded wildly as she stared at the package, her eyes wide open in shock.

"That lecherous, absolutely shameless bastard actually dared to send me something like this... Does he really think I will...?!"
