Chapter 327: Packing The Loot
Following Dhruv’s command, everyone began their work.
Azarex moved out of the castle and started to pile up all the valuable loot that he might have missed in the first session.
When it was done he got some more information from Aurora and found that there were resources gathered in the bunkers as well.
While Azarex was busy cleaning the town... Dhruv and Aurora focused all their attention on the castle.
First and foremost he placed all five of the Artifacts safely in his inventory. Two were ones he was familiar with... the third was the throne, and the last two were the ones that were used to provide mana to the entire castle.
Packing these things together, Dhruv moved every hundred of the cores into his inventory. Except for these low-tier cores, he gets his hands on four Tier IV epic cores and one Tier V legendary rank core.
Looking at the shimmering core in his hand Dhruv turned to face Aurora and opened his mouth.
"Are these legendary cores this common?" Finding how she was pulling these cores like they were nothing, Dhruv couldn’t help but ask.
"Of course no master... These cores are anything but normal."
"Any particular reason for that..." 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞
"From what we researched, we have found that from Tier V, monsters begin to get legendary rare rank evolution options... but not every Tier V monster gets to have one."
"Only the monsters who were very careful in their previous evolution could have a chance to get legendary rank evolution at Tier V..."
Saying these words, she paused for a moment,
"It could be said that a legendary rank Tier V is even rarer than a legendary rank Tier VI core. If put in a mathematical value then it would be one in a hundred thousand
"So, no Master these are not common at all. For me to have this one I had a pretty heavy sum of points." Teaching Dhruv another lesson on monster evolution, Aurora became silent once again.
’Why do I feel like she is lecturing me with every question I ask... then again I’m the one who is asking dumb questions..’ Accepting his defeat, Dhruv calmed down and began following her.
Soon, Aurora led him to another section of the treasury where the potions were stored.
Here, Dhruv learned another interesting piece of information.
After asking yet another question he found out that none of these potions were bought from the cosmos.
At first, this made sense as there was no way for her to buy anything from the cosmos because she was in a dungeon... right?
Right! It was true... but what Dhruv found interesting was that she couldn’t buy anything from the cosmos from the start. What he meant was that nobody from Cryonix has the cosmos buying function.
At first, Dhruv was confused as to why this was the case... but it didn’t take him long to figure out that monsters were prohibited from using some part of the system.
This was true even for Dhruv and the only reason he can still use Cosic store is because of being a mutant.
Slowly but surely the castle began to get empty while the emptiness of his inventory began to disappear.
’Thank god, I’ve evolved; otherwise, packing these things would’ve been a nightmare.’
Like Dhruv had promised himself, he didn’t leave anything in the castle. He packed everything from floor mats to window covers to all the way to chandeliers.
He didn’t even leave any bed, clothes, or furniture.
At first, Dhruv was going to leave the books in their library, but once again, Aurora came in clutch. She told him that these books contained so much knowledge to be just left alone in the dungeon to be destroyed.
Because of Aurora, he wouldn’t have any problem translating them as well. After packing up the books, he packed the statues of her ancestors as well and continued picking up minor things from the castle.
If Dhruv had his way, he would have packed the whole castle within his inventory... but unfortunately, it wasn’t possible with the available manpower.
All in all, it took them seven hours to pack everything there was to pack.
"Phew! That was a lot of work..." Saying these words, all three of them began to move out of the castle.
"It indeed was, Master," Azarex agreed while Aurora nodded her head.
After making sure there was nothing more left to pack Dhruv looked at the duo and declared. "Shall we leave to meet with Thunder then?"
A smirk appeared on his face as the thought of fighting something without holding back came to his mind.
"Of course, Master.."
"I hope my information will do you good.."
"It will not be easy... but when has that ever been the case.." A chuckle escaped his mouth as Dhruv signaled Azarex to pack all his undead.
At this point, all three of them were able to fly one way or another, so there wasn’t any point in walking.
Controlling himself, Dhruv summoned the magnificent wings. Aurora created a platform of sorts below her feet, while Azarex just lifted himself in the air without any support.
After some checking, Dhruv found that Azarex was just using bursts of mana to keep himself propelling in the air. With the vast mana, one gets from a Tier IV core, he didn’t have to think about sustenance as well.
"Let’s go..." Saying these words, Dhruv soared to the sky as his two guardians were just right behind him.
As Dhruv continued flying in the sky, a curious thought appeared in his head, ’How much further can I fly vertically..?’
[So, Aurora, what is the height of the barrier?]
Knowing the curious soul she was, Dhruv knew that she would have the answer to his question. He indeed was right, as an answer quickly came his way.
[You can continue flying vertically for about five kilometers, Master... but this is not true everywhere. In some places, it’s 5 km, in some 4.9, and some even have as low as 4 kilometers.]
[The lowest is 4 km. Still, that’s a lot...]
[Yes it is,]
Closing the connection they continue flying straight. Now that there weren’t any illusions in their way, it didn’t take them long to reach the ravine.
"How beautiful..." Dhruv whispers looking at the view. From the sky, it looked even more magnificent.
It looked like some giants had fought and cracked a piece of the earth in the process.
Admiring the view, Dhruv continued flying while keeping his mana sense open. He was hoping to meet Thunder as soon as possible.
He wasn’t the only one hoping for a reunion, as soon enough, something began buzzing in his ears.
’It came this close to welcome us... how polite...’ A smirk appeared on his face as Dhruv stopped flying, ready to welcome the guest.
