When one very anticipated VRMMORPG was about to be launched, and Jake was one of the first players to have a chance to access it, he had a weird dream of himself fighting massive beasts and then seeing a world being destroyed.

Xander, a 17 year old normal High school boy buys a new MMORPG game and through it, he improves his skills in all aspects. He lived a normal life until one day when his father, who abandoned him and his mother for a year came back, claiming to be the leader of a group of super humans. This was the day Xander’s life changed. He was told he will get a power to stop the enemy but what will it be? Is he even ready to take on such a responsibility? Nobody knew that this enemy group were in charge of G. CO, the creators of League of Guardians virtual MMORPG game. I am taking inspiration from the original plot, but I am not planning mirroring it 1:1.- Of the returning characters, some may have altered personalities, although I will try my best to remain true to their book counterpart. But I will also think up ”what would they have done“ scenarios and modify their personality to match the alternative world we are in. I hope you will still enjoy it; that is my goal. To entertain you.- There is no transmigration, no isekai tropes, no reincarnation, no knowledge of in-lore events, none of that. The main character is someone who is born in-universe.
