However, the lack of escapees isn’t because of strict management.

"Although the management there is good, it generally only holds prisoners sentenced to less than ten years. It’s easier for family members to visit," Porlin nearly hinted that the Xue Family had some room to maneuver.

"But, don’t you want to force out Yi Suilu?" Su Xiaocai smiled slightly, "I know you have higher-priority cases in hand."

Though there was no evidence directly linking Yi Suilu to the superpower user, the possibility of their connection was high.

The superpower user who altered the video footage needs to be near the footage to alter it. If he assists Yi Suilu in getting into Bifeng Prison, he’ll undoubtedly accompany him.

Spy organizations, assassins, mercenaries, the All-Knowing Sect, the Empire... all were adversary groups she’d encountered.

Which faction might the hidden superpower user belong to, or does he meddle in several organizations?

Porlin’s response to Su Xiaocai was to try to make arrangements.

Of course, he knew he could use Xue Huiyi to bait Yi Suilu, but without any intelligence, it’s hard to position personnel for a stakeout.

Capturing someone across planets always requires coordinating with colleagues on that planet, even to report how long the stakeout will last. It can’t just be a forceful entry.

She checked the soil and bamboo shoots; moisture levels were normal. After digging around, she found no peculiar insects.

It’s the season for bamboo shoots, and with the temperature control equipment installed throughout the manor, the bamboo shoots were growing better than ever.

Yet seeing a cluster of blue shoots sprouting amid the yellow felt odd, like a spilled paint palette.

"When did this start happening?"

Ji Li said, "It should have been since the day Xiao Douya was brought over."

Xiao Douya hadn’t been around for that long; what had this gardening genius done?
