Lord of All Gods
Chapter 2551
"Deal. But don’t come crying to me when you get beaten to a pulp!"
Ye Liuyun spoke with unshakable calm as he handed three glowing orbs of primal energy to the Violet Kylin.
"Not a chance!" the beast retorted instantly.
In one swift motion, it swallowed all three energy orbs, absorbing their power gradually.
With that, Ye Liuyun released it.
Just then, a thousand alien warriors, each at the third tier of Celestial Realm, surged forward.
"Monsters, just as I thought!" The Violet Kylin, encountering these extraterrestrial beings for the first time, let out a thunderous roar and charged straight at them.
Its massive frame, comparable to a gold-devouring beast, drew the attention of the entire alien horde with that deafening cry.
At the Dominator Realm, the Violet Kylin was far beyond any single opponent among them. Yet the aliens grew excited—taking down such a colossal creature would mean a significant power boost for them.
Individually, none of these Celestial Realm aliens stood a chance, but a thousand of them ganging up could wear the beast down eventually.
Sangda watched the Violet Kylin warily, suspecting another trap set by Ye Liuyun.
But in the next moment, the beast activated its temporal power. Fearful for its life and unnerved by the overwhelming numbers, it froze time before the fight even began.
Seizing the opportunity while the aliens were still clustered together, it swung its massive claws in wide, devastating arcs.
Again and again, it drained its energy to halt time, using every second to slaughter the aliens.
To it, each swipe of its claws could cleave through several foes at once. If it moved fast enough, it might even conserve enough resources to strengthen itself further.
The scene was utterly breathtaking—alien warriors charging forward suddenly froze in place, only to be shattered into pieces by the Purple Kylin Snake’s devastating strikes.
The Purple Kylin Snake was thoroughly enjoying itself. With ample resources at its disposal lately, its mastery over temporal power had grown stronger, fueling its confidence like never before. In the past, it had never wielded such power for so long, mostly reserving it for desperate escapes or life-saving maneuvers.
Once every last alien warrior had been obliterated, the beast theatrically trotted back to its starting position before finally releasing its temporal grip, letting out a deafening roar.
To onlookers, it appeared as though the Purple Kylin Snake had annihilated a thousand elite alien warriors with that single, earth-shaking bellow.
Inside the warship, alien commanders like Sanda, who had been observing the battle, leapt to their feet in shock.
Meanwhile, alien soldiers under siege by the Falcon troops had initially rejoiced at the sight of reinforcements—only to freeze in stunned disbelief at the massacre before them. Many forgot to defend themselves, falling prey to the Falcons’ relentless attacks.
A faint smirk curled Ye Liuyun’s lips as he swiftly retrieved a Interspatial Ring. Channeling spatial energy, he darted across the battlefield to collect the corpses, then recalled the Purple Kylin Snake back into his spatial realm for a well-deserved rest.
These alien warriors had all been third-tier Heavenly Realm experts. From their storage rings alone, Ye Liuyun looted over three hundred intact orbs of origin energy, not to mention piles of smaller fragments.
*That Purple Kylin Snake is too straightforward—it didn’t even think to check their storage rings!*
Suppressing a chuckle, he promptly honored their agreement, handing over the promised share of origin energy—even tossing in three extra orbs as a bonus.
The Purple Kylin Snake practically bounced with joy at the sight of such a bounty, nearly swatting Ye Liuyun under its massive paw in its excitement. Thankfully, his spatial reflexes saved him just in time.
Meanwhile, the Metal Devourer had already drained every last scrap of metal from the alien warships and soldiers before being recalled into the spatial realm by Ye Liuyun’s clone.
Without waiting for the last alien stragglers to fall, Ye Liuyun ordered Yu Xiaofeng to dispatch a cleanup crew to scour the battlefield.
Back in the warship, Sanda and the other alien commanders and elites still hadn’t recovered from the shock.
“That... that purple beast—is it really a Kylin? What kind of dark sorcery was that?” Sanda muttered, half-convinced the creature was some other, far more terrifying monstrosity.
"That must be a Kylin! This technique is absolutely terrifying!" exclaimed a golden-armored alien nearby.
"Order all warships to seal their hatches immediately!" Sangda commanded in shock, though by now, "all warships" meant just two remaining vessels.
At this point, it could no longer afford to worry about the aliens being slaughtered outside. The priority was ensuring that no more of those gold-devouring beasts—or whatever monstrous creatures they were—could infiltrate the ships.
The aliens left outside were in dire straits. Already outmatched by the Falcon drones, now stripped of their armor and weapons, they stood no chance. Bare-handed, they couldn’t outrun the Falcons, let alone break through their defenses. Their fate was sealed.
Meanwhile, the two remaining alien warships abandoned the fight entirely, speeding ahead without looking back.
The stranded aliens had no choice but to band together and attempt a desperate breakout.
Ye Liuyun wasted no time, deploying thirty thousand more Falcon drones to encircle and annihilate them. He even summoned Lei Ming and the others, giving everyone a chance to sharpen their skills. He and his clones joined the fray, reveling in the slaughter.
Sangda’s colossal warship still had nearly three months before reaching the Holy Land. Ye Liuyun had all the time in the world to wear them down.
Meanwhile, news that Ye Liuyun had wiped out nearly six million of the alien forces sent the Holy Land into a frenzy once more, further solidifying their resolve to resist the invaders.
But Sangda was drowning in dread. With such a monstrous beast at Ye Liuyun’s command—one that could obliterate a thousand warriors with a single roar—how could they possibly fight back?
Though Ye Liuyun hadn’t unleashed the Violet Kylin earlier, likely because its devastating roar came at a steep cost and couldn’t be used recklessly, the mere possibility of its return was enough to send chills down their spines.
Even the golden and silver-armored elites began murmuring among themselves, urging an immediate retreat. In their hearts, they knew: if they faced that beast, escape would be impossible. Only death awaited them.
"Enough!"
Sanda immediately cut off their private murmurs, not wanting to undermine morale.
It reassured the other alien races, "That Purple Kylin Snake must need time to recover after each attack. We can send weaker soldiers to wear it down first. Once it exhausts itself, our strongest warriors can move in and finish it off."
"Or we could just have the Three-Eyed Clan take it out directly. There are plenty of ways to handle this. From now on, no one is allowed to discuss this in private—any violator will be executed!"
With that final command, Sanda silenced all further talk of the Purple Kylin Snake.
But despite its firm words, most of the aliens remained skeptical. As long as that beast still lived, none dared to charge into battle.
Still, under Sanda’s orders, they kept their doubts to themselves.
Deep down, even Sanda was uneasy. *This time, the cost might be far greater than expected.*
*We can’t deploy all our elite forces at once—not unless we want them wiped out in a single strike. If we stagger our attacks, maybe, just maybe, we’ll scrape by with a pyrrhic victory.*
