Lord of All Gods
Chapter 2562
"That’s not something a mere servant should ask!" Wu Qingcheng shot him a disdainful look, her impression of them already soured.
"I am Sang Han, Vice Dean of the Sheng Yuan Academy!" the elder retorted indignantly, his pride still bristling.
Without hesitation, Ye Liuyun activated the slave seal, forcing Sang Han to his knees before Wu Qingcheng. At the same time, he issued a cold warning—any resistance would mean death for all of them, buried alongside the alien invaders.
To ensure Wu Qingcheng and her companions could control them effortlessly, Ye Liuyun compelled the captives to form a master-servant contract with her. Wu Qingcheng wasted no time, immediately commanding Sang Han to lead them to the nearest alien stronghold.
Humiliation burned in Sang Han’s chest. Here he was, a distinguished Vice Dean of Sheng Yuan Academy, reduced to a mere servant at the beck and call of a young woman—one whose cultivation level was even beneath his own.
But what gnawed at him most was the mystery of how Ye Liuyun had implanted the slave seal. He hadn’t sensed any spiritual intrusion, no assault on his consciousness. Yet here he was, bound and powerless.
Now, he no longer had the right to demand answers. All he could do was watch and wait.
Still, a small consolation lingered—these people were strong, and they fought against the alien invaders. At least he hadn’t fallen into enemy hands.
Had he not lost his temper and attacked on sight, perhaps they could have negotiated, even formed an alliance.
For two days, Sang Han led the group forward until, unexpectedly, two figures clad in Sheng Yuan Academy robes appeared on the path ahead. One seemed injured, leaning heavily on the other.
Sang Han hesitated, unwilling to involve them, lest they too be enslaved or killed. He pretended not to notice.
But the songstress and Lan’er spotted the disciples at the same time and alerted Wu Qingcheng.
"Bring them here!" Wu Qingcheng commanded sharply.
Resigned, Sang Han moved to call out—but the disciples had already seen them and were rushing forward.
"Ask them what happened," Wu Qingcheng commanded Sang Han once more. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
"Dean Sang! Dean Sang! Something terrible has happened!" The two disciples shouted from a distance as they approached.
"What now?" Sang Han asked irritably, assuming these disciples had caused trouble like Cui Xinghe before them.
"The alien outpost ahead is swarming with powerful extraterrestrials. We walked right into their ambush the moment we attacked," the uninjured disciple reported hastily.
"How many of you were there? Why are only the two of you left?" Sang Han questioned, puzzled.
By then, the two had drawn near. Everyone could clearly see the gaping hole in the injured disciple’s thigh—clearly pierced by an alien energy beam.
Spotting so many women among the group, the two hesitated briefly but dismissed it, assuming they were martial practitioners allied with their academy to combat the aliens.
The uninjured disciple continued, "There were at least hundreds of them—some at the Dominator level, even three-eyed aliens. Elder Jinghai was slaughtered by one of their Dominators, torn to pieces!
We were stationed on the perimeter for lookout duty—that’s the only reason we escaped alive."
Meanwhile, Ye Liuyun, having gleaned the details through Sang Han’s Slaving Seal, emerged from his spatial realm and immediately probed the disciples’ minds.
Wu Qingcheng, Feng Hongxiu, and the others had already grown suspicious. With so many powerful aliens, how had these two managed to return unscathed?
The moment Ye Liuyun’s divine soul surged into their consciousness, he uncovered the truth—both disciples had been forcibly bound by alien master-servant contracts. Yet their account was accurate. The aliens had sent them back to gather intel on human attack plans.
After reviewing their memories and confirming the events, Ye Liuyun erased the contracts from their minds.
Only then did the two disciples drop to their knees before Sang Han, confessing their enslavement.
"Don’t blame them—they were outmatched," Ye Liuyun interjected. "I’ve already seen everything. Their forced contracts are nullified. Send them back to recover."
With that, he motioned for Sang Han to dismiss them.
Sang Han was equally surprised that Ye Liuyun had actually let them go. He had been quite curious about the situation at the alien outpost and wanted to ask for more details, but since Ye Liuyun had spoken, he couldn’t disobey. Immediately, he followed Ye Liuyun’s orders and sent the two disciples away.
The two disciples kowtowed in gratitude, supporting each other as they staggered off.
Meanwhile, Ye Liuyun activated his golden pupils, gazing into the distance.
His golden vision could now see incredibly far—without obstructions, he could even make out the alien outpost. According to the memories of the two Shengyuan disciples, they had traveled back in a straight line.
Sure enough, Ye Liuyun soon spotted the alien outpost. After some observation, he confirmed that there was indeed an ambush waiting inside.
The two disciples weren’t strong enough, and once the fighting started, they had been quickly subdued by the aliens. So, they didn’t know the exact numbers, only that there were many powerful enemies.
However, Ye Liuyun didn’t realize the ambush was meant for him—he assumed it was set up for Sang Han and his group.
After watching for a while, he turned to Sang Han and remarked, "Your opponents this time are quite formidable! There are over a dozen Dominator-level warriors among them, all clad in gold and silver armor. Not to mention thirty Three-Eyed aliens and more than five hundred at the Heavenly Triad realm. It’s clear that place is a trap."
"So many?!" Sang Han was visibly shaken.
If the Shengyuan Academy was caught off guard and ambushed by such a force, the consequences would be disastrous.
Without hesitation, he asked Ye Liuyun for permission to send a message back to the academy, urging them to prepare.
"Go ahead," Ye Liuyun agreed without hesitation.
Sang Han pulled out a communication talisman but paused before speaking into it. He turned to Ye Liuyun again. "If the academy orders me to join the operation to eliminate those aliens, how should I respond?"
"Answer them as if you were never under our control. As for Cui Xinghe and the others... just assume they died in battle," Ye Liuyun replied calmly.
"Understood!" Sang Han nodded and immediately relayed the information.
Soon, he received a response—he was to continue monitoring the aliens, avoid reckless actions, and wait for reinforcements.
Upon hearing this, Ye Liuyun instructed Sang Han to follow the academy’s orders without hesitation.
"We only took control of you because you attacked without asking questions. But your academy is fighting against the aliens, and we won’t interfere with that. In fact, if needed, we might even lend a hand. When it comes to resisting the alien threat, we can set aside our grudges for now."
Ye Liuyun made his stance clear, reassuring Sang Han not to overthink it and to focus on cooperating with the academy to eliminate the alien threat.
