Lord of All Gods
Chapter 2583
Ye Liuyun had no intention of continuously draining the power of his spatial realm to keep Meng Qingyin confined, so he lifted the restrictions on her.
Meng Qingyin, still seething with resentment, wanted to challenge Ye Liuyun again. But Lie Du swiftly intervened, warning her that since Ye Liuyun was now their ally, past grievances had to be set aside. Reluctantly, she swallowed her anger and stormed off to sulk alone.
In the days leading up to his clone’s arrival, Ye Liuyun passed the time by roasting meat with Lie Du and the Purple Kylin Snake.
Even when Ye Liuyun offered a piece to Meng Qingyin, she stubbornly refused.
Lie Du, however, took one bite and couldn’t stop praising it. The Purple Kylin Snake devoured its share eagerly and even tossed a generous chunk to the Ice Bear, who gnawed at it with relish.
Watching the bear drool greedily after finishing its portion only deepened Meng Qingyin’s irritation, prompting her to recall the creature back into her spatial realm.
"This is the most delicious roast I’ve ever tasted!" Lie Du raved, handing another piece to Meng Qingyin, urging her to try it. This time, she reluctantly accepted.
To her surprise, the flavor was extraordinary—she hadn’t expected Ye Liuyun to possess such skill. Yet she refused to voice her admiration and couldn’t bring herself to ask for more.
Lie Du, absorbed in his own feast, soon forgot about her entirely.
A few days later, Ye Liuyun’s clone and the others arrived. Seeing that Ye Liuyun was accompanied by powerful beasts and other Dominance-level experts, Lie Du grew even more delighted.
After Ye Liuyun stored them all back into his spatial realm, he proposed using the Black Tower for teleportation to return to the alliance. However, since neither Lie Du nor Meng Qingyin could enter his spatial realm without submitting to his control, they had no choice but to teleport together—albeit at a higher resource cost.
The suggestion thrilled Lie Du and Meng Qingyin, as it would save them months of travel—undeniably welcome news.
"Aren’t you bringing those foreign experts along?" Lie Du probed cautiously. After all, they were Dominance-level fighters, including the Three-Eyed beings. With their help, dealing with the foreign forces would be far easier.
Ye Liuyun simply replied, "They won’t be necessary. I have other forces at my disposal."
"Just you and the people around you?" Meng Qingyin asked, baffled.
If it were just Ye Liuyun and his companions, while they could provide some assistance, their strength would still be relatively limited.
"I’ll go ahead first. The army will follow shortly!" Ye Liuyun replied.
His reassurance eased their concerns somewhat. After obtaining the coordinates from them, Ye Liuyun teleported directly to the Alliance Hall.
The grand hall was filled with powerful figures from various factions of the alliance, yet Ye Liuyun showed no trace of intimidation. Having experienced countless situations over the years, he carried himself with effortless composure. His demeanor alone made it clear to the gathered elites that he was no ordinary man, and none dared to question his capabilities.
Without wasting time on unnecessary pleasantries, Ye Liuyun introduced himself briefly before outlining his proposed garrison positions and attack strategies in accordance with the agreement. He then moved swiftly to begin preparations.
He also suggested taking Liedu and Meng Qingyin with him, as their presence would facilitate resource allocation and coordination with the alliance.
Cang Jingsong agreed immediately, granting Ye Liuyun permission to proceed with Liedu and Meng Qingyin in tow.
Once outside the Alliance Hall, Liedu accompanied Ye Liuyun to scout the battlefield, while Meng Qingyin returned to lead her troops before regrouping with him later.
Initially, she had no intention of merging forces with Ye Liuyun, but her desire to keep an eye on him—ensuring he didn’t slack off—and perhaps uncover any weaknesses ultimately swayed her decision. After all, whether Ye Liuyun truly had what it took would be proven on the battlefield.
Using his spatial abilities and golden pupils, Ye Liuyun swiftly assessed the enemy’s strength and deployment.
The number of Sovereign-level alien elites was limited, roughly on par with the alliance’s forces. The three-eyed aliens were even fewer—only a dozen or so—posing no significant threat.
However, the Celestial-level alien forces vastly outnumbered the alliance’s. According to Liedu, the number of third-level Celestial aliens was steadily increasing, and recently, a few more Sovereign-level aliens had even emerged.
Ye Liuyun knew full well that this surge in enemy strength was his own doing. Still, he dismissed it as no major concern.
Without delay, he ordered his doppelgänger to retrieve the main army via the Black Tower’s teleportation—though he deliberately excluded Ye Tiandao’s elite vanguard unit from the recall.
The reason he had summoned a million troops was precisely because the number of foreign tribes here had already exceeded ten million, and they were continuously reinforcing this area. This presented the perfect opportunity for his army to secure resources—far more efficient than wandering through the cosmos to scavenge them.
Shortly after, he followed Liedu back to their encampment.
By then, Meng Qingyin had already arrived with her forces and had set up both the camp and its defenses. Under her subtle cues, the soldiers, savage beasts, and demonic clans under her command eyed Ye Liuyun with hostility, clearly intending to intimidate him right from the start.
But Ye Liuyun wasn’t about to let Meng Qingyin rattle him.
He simply turned to both Meng Qingyin and Liedu and asked, "This is my camp. Shouldn’t Miss Meng’s forces fall under my command?"
"Of course!" Liedu immediately affirmed, shooting Meng Qingyin a warning glance to behave.
Meng Qingyin, however, remained unfazed. "Your soldiers haven’t arrived yet. Isn’t it only right that I temporarily oversee the camp’s security?"
Ye Liuyun smirked. "Who said they aren’t here? Withdraw your troops into the camp and stay in your designated area. I’m about to begin my arrangements!"
"Where are your soldiers, then?" Meng Qingyin retorted defiantly.
Ye Liuyun replied coolly, "As the highest-ranking commander here, I don’t owe you an explanation. If Miss Meng lacks the awareness to cooperate, you’re free to return to your original unit. I have no interest in leading a disruptive force that requires constant justification!"
Meng Qingyin couldn’t argue back—after all, she was indeed under Ye Liuyun’s command.
"Fine. Let’s see how you handle this!" she hissed through gritted teeth, reluctantly ordering her soldiers to gather in one section of the camp to stand down.
Ye Liuyun merely chuckled before summoning Yu Xiaofeng, Qin Peng, and their army of 300,000. These troops had originally been sweeping through the western regions, eliminating foreign tribes, and his doppelgänger had already retrieved them.
This move left both Liedu and Meng Qingyin utterly stunned. Neither had expected Ye Liuyun’s spatial world to contain so many soldiers.
But their astonishment only grew as Ye Liuyun proceeded to release a million troops, completely taking over the camp’s defenses.
It wasn’t just the sheer numbers that shocked them—the cultivation levels and bloodlust radiating from this million-strong army were equally staggering.
Meng Qingyin had once believed her forces were formidable. Yet, compared to Ye Liuyun’s legion, they seemed as insignificant as a lone leaf adrift in a vast ocean.
Under the overwhelming pressure of this army’s killing intent, her troops immediately wilted. The human soldiers could only watch in envy, but the savage beasts and demonic clans in her ranks instantly became docile, not even daring to let out a roar—completely subdued by the sheer dominance of Ye Liuyun’s forces.
