Chapter 3046: Chapter 3046

Ye Liuyun stayed outside to stall the blue whale a little longer, buying time for Qiong Qi and the others. He had the dragon girl relay his full instructions to the whale, pretending to let it verify the teleportation array’s authenticity.

The whale agreed to everything—clearly terrified that Ye Liuyun’s group would simply leave.

Once Qiong Qi’s side was ready, Ye Liuyun began shifting the whale. The instant it entered his inner world, he locked it solid with the world’s own spatial laws.

The whale realized at once that it had fallen into a trap—and that it couldn’t move.

Lightning, Nine-headed Demon Dragon, and Black Tiger immediately lanced white beams at its skull, trying to melt it away. But the creature was gigantic and none of them knew sea-beast anatomy; three gaping holes appeared, yet no instant kill.

The whale thrashed, found Ye Liuyun’s restraints unbreakable, and instantly released its soul straight into Ye Liuyun’s sea of consciousness.

Everyone saw the soul—an enormous whale-shape even larger and clearly stronger than Ye Liuyun’s own.

At the same moment its soul left its body, the whale’s cultivation soared to Unity Ninth Tier and its physical form ballooned, crushing the imprisoning array outright.

Qiong Qi and the other grand formation masters slapped new arrays onto its hide with bare hands, desperate to pin the body again.

Inside Ye Liuyun’s mind, the whale-soul was instantly bathed in the golden light of the Myriad-God Token, but its power still eclipsed his; for the moment he couldn’t begin a soul-search.

“Xuanwu, all three of you—black-light into its skull!” Ye Liuyun ordered, fearing the whale might still hide a second soul.

Three beams of black light shot from the Xuanwu trio toward the spot the first soul had exited.

A mournful “oooo” rolled out as a second colossal whale-soul erupted from the beast’s head. The cry rattled every mind present; weaker souls spat blood on the spot.

Even riddled with three black holes the soul refused to die. It arrowed straight for Lightning, Demon Dragon and Black Tiger—the ones who had burned it with white light.

Lightning and Demon Dragon answered with black beams. The whale dodged, velocity unchanged, and bored down on Black Tiger who had no black-light to fire.

Second分身 froze time; together with Ye Liuyun he poured black rays into the onrushing soul, erasing a huge chunk. The drain was savage; convinced the remnant would finish the job, they released the time halt.

No one expected the shredded soul to keep coming. It slammed into Black Tiger’s sea of consciousness and detonated it—then, from the whale’s body, a third human-shaped soul burst out, lunging at the nearest target: Phantom Hand.

It knew distance meant death-by-black-light, so it simply picked whoever was closest.

Phantom Hand hadn’t time to fire before the human soul pierced his head.

Ye Liuyun froze time again and rocketed his own soul in pursuit—but the instant he entered Phantom Hand’s mind he saw only wreckage; the man’s soul had already been obliterated.

This whale had actually cultivated three souls. The human one, weaker than the cetacean pair, still towered above Phantom Hand, and in human form it wielded far more techniques.

Ye Liuyun’s fury ignited Nether Ghost-flame that incinerated the human soul to nothing.

Simultaneously Second分身 yanked the remnants of the second whale-soul—now spilling from Black Tiger’s ruined head—into his own mind and devoured them.

When time resumed, Black Tiger and Phantom Hand toppled like felled trees.

Black Tiger had died the uglier death—his entire sea of consciousness burst like a melon.

The blue whale, knowing it was doomed, had simply tried to drag as many as possible down with it.No one had expected the blue whale to fight so desperately—let alone that its soul strength would be this terrifying, or that it actually carried three souls.

The soul strike had come too fast; even Ye Liuyun hadn’t had time to save them.

By the time he reacted, he instantly triggered his Time power again, trying to rewind the moment—but the whale’s soul force was simply too overwhelming. Time reversal couldn’t erase an attack that had already landed inside the mind.

The book-demon in his sea of consciousness sighed. “It’s useless. Its soul power far outclasses a peak Ninth-Level Return-to-One warrior’s, and it’s burning everything. Your current Time authority can’t rewrite a soul-level strike. If it had been a physical blow, you might have changed the outcome.”

Ye Liuyun was stunned. A single suicidal whale had just wiped out two of his beast partners.

He asked the book-demon at once, “Is there any way to save them—either of them?”

He had only recently subjugated Black Tiger; if he could rescue only one, bringing Phantom Hand back would be enough—Phantom Hand had followed him for years, and the bond was deeper.

The book-demon shook its head helplessly. “Get stronger—fast.” Then it fell silent.

Everyone froze on the spot; no one had a move left. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

Ye Liuyun immediately teleported Purple Kylin Snake over and had him try the same Time reversal.

Same result. Purple Kylin Snake’s soul strength was also insufficient; the whale’s soul attack couldn’t be undone.

Once玄武 and Xenocide regained their senses, they let out a mournful cry. One after another, the other demonic beasts joined the lament, bidding farewell to Phantom Hand and Black Tiger.

Ye Liuyun sighed in resignation.

The feeling of utter powerlessness only sharpened his awareness of how weak he still was.

After a long silence he relocated every beast—and every woman—to this spot, pulling even Dragon Girl from outside so they could all send the two off together. Then he ignited a blaze and cremated their bodies.

The whale’s corpse he simply handed to玄武 and Xenocide to deal with.

At that moment, Bandit Cat sent him a mental whisper: he could break into the whale’s pocket world.

Ye Liuyun was in no mood to care about resources; he told the cat to do whatever it wanted.

While the whale’s souls had yet to be fully dissolved by the Myriad-God Token, he immediately launched a soul-search to find out why the creature had been determined to destroy them.
