As for why he forgets it...it is not so much that he had forgotten it, it is more like he had leave this saw here so that the Chthonian creatures that invaded this empty Universe would stay away from it, long enough that life had a chance to bloom

Someday, those Chthonian creature would come again to this place. But when they arrive at that time, there would already be life here

And those beings would have to find a way for themselves how to win and how to deter those Cthulhu creatures and all the dark forces

Loki could somehow see the cause and effect, fates and destiny that would play on this place. And he could not help but shakes his head.

Every beings are tested in such ways.

Because without tribulations you could not grow. And creating a perfect creature from the beginning....is the deletion of potential.

Etherna simply this the most obvious of this example of perfect creatures....that doomed themselves.

Loki could only sigh.

"I leave it only for a few second and trillion of years had passed" Loki could only shake his head 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶

To him, it was just yesterday that he finished his gardening jobs and went back to Asgard. A matter of one day.

It is because the weird properties of the garden

Sometimes, he forgets that the time in the Garden and the time inside the garden is very different

There are many sheds in the garden.

These sheds are so many and have so many functions that even for him, he sometimes forgot

These sheds and these garden are magical even to him. For a deity like him, there is nothing he would forget

That is source of power but it is also source of pain. Forgetting is sometimes a gift,

The more things you could not forget, the more things you could not forgive. And the more things you could not forgive, the more demons and devils there is in your heart

Tormented by a past, it is hell. Sometimes, it is good to forget.

There is also a few stables and a few farms.

But any structure that has a door, all those doors, if one wanted to , could go to any points of time and any part of the Omniverse instantly.

Loki for example had never missed any banquet in Asgard or in the royal palace of the Jotuns and it never interfere with his jobs as advisor to the High King of Asgard, the ruler of the Eight realms

That is because he could spend tens of thousands of years in the garden but using that door, he could return almost instantly to the time he had just disappeared.

He could have been cooking in his palace and then goes to the garden and then returns almost instantly to the moment he had disappeared.

The best part about it, the door of times in the garden is free from paradoxes, free from any detection and free from cause and effect

Loki knows this privileges is given to him because he is the gardener and he had never misuse it or abuse it. Maybe He give shim all of this opportunity, all of this privileges as a test

Who knows?

Loki heard that He had done this thing before. He points at a tree and said don’t come near that tree

It was a test. And then that mortal still come to that tree.

Though, many mortals think that He was angry, was it really so? Was He really angry?

Or did He put that test to see whether that mortal is ready to make his own conscious decision?

The moment that mortal made that decision, He cast him out.

No, it is more like He put down that mortal onto the mortal world.

Free will. Maybe that was the test from the very beginning.

To see whether that mortal has the capacity to think for himself.

And because that mortal made a decision, He knows that the mortal is ready.

If He wanted to punish, there is variety of ways to punish that mortal

It was a lesson.

And it is a lesson that the mortal had to learn from himself.

He could teach that mortals all the names of all things in the Omniverse.

But for the matter of the heart and soul, that is something special and it is something that mortal need to learn for himself.

He gave them free will.

Everything is known to him, but free will is the variable that He gave to those mortals.

Yet, mortals blame all of the bad things to Him, never once look at themselves, at the people around them and think whether the calamity originated from them or Him

They destroy the world and disaster comes knocking, yet they pointed at the sky and scolded Him

The mortals wage war against each other , killed, rape, committed all kinds of barbaric acts that even animals would not do, and yet they scolded Him, not once they took personal responsibility

When it is anything good, they attribute it to themselves, yet everything bad attributed to Him.

Mortals....are like this. Fleeting, ugly, selfish, evil....weak. Yet He also embraces all of this. He created them and hence He alone over others understand the mortal’s weakness and their strength.

When a society collapse, it is always from the smallest things. A lax of virtue here and there, from the small thing until it turns into a society filed with moral void.

And then in such a society that has no longer any morals, calamity would strike. Either from the inside or the outside

"Now I could not help think all of these things"

Loki could only shake his head while chuckling a bit

"Humanity....where would they go? That Child of the End....what would be his final fate? My disciple, Peter...is the butterfly wings that he had helped waves, creates a stronger storm. Wargod machinations...could it work. The Creator and Destroyer, an ancient promise....all of it...what would happen in that Final Battle?"

There is a smile on Loki face

"And those Orvan....just like before, scheming on the background. Will they have enough courage to show themselves or just like before...they would hide? This second chance, is it simply for humanity?" Loki sighed.

He looks at these world for a few more second and then he walks back to the door and close the door.

Loki did not realize that he...walking on that tundra land leave some of his essence. Essence of the Aesir and essence of the Jotuns.

This too....is cause and effect. This too....had been foreseen. The Creator saw it from a different place. He saw it and suddenly smiles

"Cause and effect completed and now I could sow the seeds" the moment Loki had closed the door, the Creator notices it and almost a second later, the Creator stand on the same spot that Loki had just stand. He looks at the gash created by the saw and he smiles

A bit of Chthonian essence, Aesir, Jotuns and even the essence of creation from the saw of the garden. Add a little magic here and there" the Creator mutters to himself and he waves his hand. The gash was deep. So large and deep

"A good place for a sea" The Creator looks at the skies and he thought for a moment and shakes his head

"Normal rain would be too long" So, the Creator waves his hand and the entire snowy regions was swatted away. But it did not turn into dust but instead turns into a large globe of water floating in the skies.

The Creator waves his hand and this large globe of water fell into the gaps. But even though all of the tundra snow was converted into water, it still could not fill the gash

And so, the Creator waves his hand again and the water churns endlessly and the deep gash is full of water.

He waves his hand again this times waving it upwards and times accelerated and clouds formed, rain falls down, grasses rising up, life blooms all over.

And then the Creator smiles

"The seed has been sown and fate and destiny would guide this world, cause and effect has already been established." The Creator then disappears from this world. Loki left a bit of the Divine Stamp and someday in this world, a legend of the trickster would probably arise again

As for Loki, he is back at the shed. The saw on his hand. Then he opens the shed door again. And in front of him is the garden again.

He cracked his neck a bit and then takes a deep breath

He then looks at the garden again. And then he saw the trees that are beyond salvation.

"It is better to cut it and give them a swift ending instead of prolonging suffering like this. As for whether to start again, or to send them to reincarnation, or to create a nest or relocate the fruits and leaves to another tree...."

"Hmmm." Loki shakes his head.

Maybe the Creator would solve this problem for him.

Even though it is true that task is overlapping right now, he feels it would be better for the Creator to handle this kind of thing

Even though he would not be tainted by cause and effect while he is doing his task in the garden, this kind of troublesome things, involving the powers of creation, of life and death would be better to give it to the expert.

Loki shakes his head and walk to one of the trees.
