Array Way has a vast variety of types and many techniques for setting up arrays, making it impossible to simply rank based on battles.

Therefore, after many years of continuous improvements, the Pill Way Competition came up with a relatively fair way of competition.

The first round, array breaking.

Zhen Yuan City possesses a Dao treasure named the Myriad Array Chart. The Myriad Array Chart doesn’t actually contain ten thousand grand arrays but is divided into numerous small spaces. A hundred small spaces can form an array, the same array.

The entire Myriad Array Chart is divided into twelve layers, corresponding to the twelve minor realms from Divine Infant Realm to Unity Realm Stage. Only by advancing through at least eight minor realms can one hope to secure a spot for advancement.

This round of the competition resembles the preliminary mass selection of the Pill Way Competition.

The Myriad Array Chart is divided into ten thousand small spaces, allowing ten thousand people to enter at once. The Dao instrument will suppress the power within everyone, limiting them to using Array Way to break arrays. Using other powers will result in expulsion from the Myriad Array Chart’s space.

This Array Way Competition, like the Pill Way Competition, prohibits participation by those in the Saint Realm, ensuring that the Dao instrument remains unbroken.

Of course, don’t reveal excessively strong auras like Jiang Chen did last time; his aura alone was enough to break a top-tier Dao instrument, which was truly shocking.

The second round, array setting.

Successfully holding an array is worth one point, and breaking through is also worth one point; accumulating ten points grants advancement.

The elimination criterion for this round is the number of failures; whether defending or attacking, accumulating five failures results in elimination. The advancement count in this round reduces by two-thirds, and the final count sometimes varies.

The third round, battle.

No matter how the world changes, a cultivator must still battle. However, in battles, one must not use Great Dao attacks or Spiritual Power attacks, only Array Way attacks. Of course, integrating Great Dao attacks or Spiritual Power attacks into Array Way attacks is permissible.

Historically, the third round was dominated by the Su Family because of their rapid "bodily array integration." Later, due to their dominance, adjustments were made: body integration is restricted to defense and not offense for Su Family members.

This was somewhat unfair to the Su Family, so Zhen Yuan City compensated by allowing the Su Family to invite others as guest elders to help them participate in the Array Way Competition.

There’s no talk of several major families in Zhen Yuan City as they have no interest ties with Canglan City, but getting ranked or earning a spot in the top ten is crucial for array families, determining the Myriad Array Chart’s control for the next decade.

The Myriad Array Chart in Zhen Yuan City and the Spirit Yuan Mirror in Elixir Divine City are both city-owned Dao instruments, not personal property.
