A farm that breeds gods and demons-Chapter 33 - 31 The Death Station
33: Chapter 31: The Death Station
33 -31: The Death Station
Crossing through the dense forest, they quietly approached.
Soon, the beams from the flashlights revealed rows of dead Goblin Beast bodies on the ground, riddled with bullet holes—it seemed they were all killed by guns.
Could this be the work of Yu Guozhi and Sun Da too?
The group was surprised.
Qin Jiagui lifted his flashlight, illuminating a sign hanging next to a door of a building ahead.
He said, “Everyone look.”
They looked over to find the sign read “Jixian Police Station”, smeared with green juices and fresh red blood.
Feeling a jolt in their hearts, they immediately thought of Yu Guozhi and Sun Da, who had claimed to be officers from the “Jixian Police Station”.
Was this station, like their school, also transported intact into this forest by the “sinkhole”?
If so, there were likely to be more police officers than just Yu Guozhi and Sun Da.
With this thought in mind, they tossed caution to the wind and quickly moved forward.
Soon, they surveyed a scene of a fierce battle, the bodies of many Goblin Beasts and a good number of police officers dressed in uniform scattered about.
These bodies, their skulls shattered or stomachs ripped open, numbered more than twenty along the way.
“Could Yu Guozhi and Sun Da be the only two surviving officers from this station?” Zhang Zhongmou couldn’t help but whisper, feeling a chill running down his spine even though he was normally quite courageous.
Bodies of Goblin Beasts and police officers were everywhere.
The white walls were splattered with a mixture of green fluid and fresh red blood, a sight that both shocked and horrified them.
“Hey, take a look at this.” Suddenly, Qin Jiagui’s flashlight beam settled on a door.
It was a steel security door, now twisted and warped, seemingly wrecked by a vast force.
The group shared startled glances.
What sort of force could do this to a burglar-proof door?
Certainly not the power of ordinary Goblin Beasts.
Even larger Goblin Beasts may not be capable of such a feat.
Just what could have caused such destructive damage?
Suddenly, a faint “bang” echoed from afar.
In such a quiet environment, the sound seemed especially somber and chilling. fгeewebnovёl.com
The group shared a glance, paused for half a second, then together whispered, “Over there.” Qin Jiagui, Zhao Shichang, and Lin Shi immediately took the lead, rushing down the corridor ahead.
The station was large, and as they raced down the corridor, there was still a great courtyard behind them.
The courtyard was in disarray, with several corpses of Goblin Beasts strewn across it.
The banging sound, similar to someone hammering on a door, was coming from another two-story building at the end of the courtyard.
Was the one hammering on the door a monster or a human?
The group was filled with both curiosity and nervousness.
Qin Jiagui pointed his flashlight towards the noise and whispered, “Let’s go, move cautiously!” Without much thought, he took the lead, increasing his speed, eager to discover the truth.
A hoarse roar echoed through the air, seemingly alerted by Su Yu and the group’s approach.
As Qin Jiagui and Zhao Shichang entered the two-story building, they found another long corridor, rooms on both sides.
A security door at the end of the hallway had three tall green-skinned creatures.
These creatures ceaselessly hammered against the sturdy door, which had already started to buckle under their assault as they arrived.
These three green-skinned creatures were larger Goblin Beasts, far more superior to the smaller ones.
Qin Jiagui pointed his flashlight at the three creatures at the end of the hallway.
Triggered by the beam, the larger Goblin Beasts let out a characteristic hoarse, low roar.
They abandoned their assault on the security door and charged towards the group.
With his left hand holding the flashlight, Qin Jiagui clenched his wooden stick with his right hand.
Metal spots appeared on the back of his right hand.
Zhao Shichang shouted quietly and courageously charged forward.
Even though the larger Goblin Beast was terrifying, they had become stronger.
Most importantly, these beasts were crucial to their further evolution.
Only a step behind the others, Ma Ziye followed with several threads of black objects appearing on her right leg.
After Su Yu, she was the second “Black Iron Warrior” to reach the “First-Level Realm”.
Now, she was ready to try out her newfound strength.
The corridor was about two meters wide.
It wasn’t long before two of the larger Goblin Beasts flung their arms wide, emitting a piercing growl.
In the blink of an eye, they clashed with Qin Jiagui, Zhao Shichang, Ma Ziye, and the others.
Ma Ziye shouted and stomped her right foot, causing strands of black thread to spread from her foot.
She used her “Steel Web” ability to capture the two larger Goblin Beasts bounding toward her.
Concerned for his companions, Su Yu closely followed Ma Ziye.
Suddenly, he noticed Qin Jiagui grunt, the flashlight flying out of his hand as one of the large Goblin Beasts knocked him flying.
Zhao Shichang’s situation was even more dire.
His wooden stick had been seized by one of the larger Goblin Beasts, and the creature’s other claw was lunging for his face.
Given the sharpness of the creature’s claws, if it managed to land the blow, Zhao would be sure to die.
Su Yu snarled, throwing himself diagonally forward.
It was too late to intercept the Goblin Beast.
His only option was to collide bodily with the beast and knock Zhao Shichang, who was on the brink of life or death, out of harm’s way.
Black scales appeared on his left hand.
With a hissing sound, he activated the “Rending Claw” and attacked.
The Goblin Beast before him, unaware of the power behind Su Yu’s “Rending Claw”, reached out to fend off the attack while targeting Su Yu’s chest with its other claw.
Suddenly, a sharp scream escaped from it.
Its right hand had been shredded by the “Rending Claw” in an instant.
As it realized its folly, Su Yu dragged his “Rending Claw” across the Goblin Beast’s body, slicing it diagonally from right shoulder until its left waist, spilling guts and intraabdominal components all over.
The beast died instantaneously.
In a flash, Su Yu resolved one creature.
Ma Ziye’s “Steel Web” finally came into effect, entangling the other two large Goblin Beasts with an intersecting pattern of black threads that had spread out from her foot and across the ground.
Once the two large Goblin Beasts realized something was wrong, they found that their feet were wrapped with twisting black threads.
By then, Ma Ziye had already swung her right leg high, delivering a swift kick.
There was a sharp noise as she kicked one of the beasts in the face.
Ma Ziye fell heavily to the ground, but she quickly recovered, pushing herself up with her hands and regaining her footing.
The Goblin Beast she’d kicked staggered and retreated, its face squarely crushed.
After entering the First-Order Realm, Ma Ziye had not only mastered the “Steel Web”, but her right leg had also become many times more powerful.
By combining her martial arts foundation with her special power, she’d just demonstrated a move she called “Flying Shovel”.
With the momentum from her running start, she could kick with surprising power, capable of shattering even a thick wooden door.
