A Journey That Changed The World.-Chapter 1326: Azrienna Duskfire
Archer chuckled with glowing violet eyes as he answered the woman's question. ''I'm a king, it's only proper I know who the empress I'm fighting.''
He dropped the woman before continuing with a knowing smile. ''You could tell her our two realms can stop fighting if she submits to the Draconia Empire, if she does this I'll allow the Duskfire Family to rule over the province.''
When the princess heard this, she went red-faced and rejected the idea in a stern tone. ''No! We have ruled these lands for generations, how can we give it to some evil dragon that will ruin the land and curse its people?''
Archer started laughing as he turned to Talila and Elara. ''Do you girls mind waiting at Riverside for me? I want to prove this idiot wrong,'' he asked.
They nodded, but the redhead asked, while looking at the angry elf, and questioned. ''Will you be fine with her? Tali was fighting her moments ago.''
''Oh yes she's not a threat to me,'' he answered with a smile. ''I want to meet her mother, I heard the woman is a warrior and beautiful. So I want to fight her.''
The two women giggled before stepping through the portal as the Duskfire Princess tried to attack him with her magic once they were gone. Archer's laughed increased as the spell vanished into nothingness, leaving the elf wide-eyed.
''Don't do that again or I'll chop off your pretty orange hair,'' he warned before opening a Gate to Dragonheart City on Draconcia. ''Step through and see how your people could benefit from joining me but be warned you'll be shocked.''
When the princess heard this, she shivered before snapping in reply. ''What are you planning to do to me? I heard you're a playboy who kidnaps princesses and corrupts them with your evil magic!''
''Damn Pope and his wild fantasies,'' he muttered in annoyance while taking out the necklace he got from the Church of Light.
Archer sent mana into it and spoke with a smug voice. ''Jeremiah! How's my lover Natalia? Tell her I miss the special massages and I need to see those green eyes soon.''
The fire elf looked confused, but he explained. ''I'll prove to you how much your leader hates me.''
''He's not our leader! We agreed to join the Alliance because of your wicked ways,'' she said in an unsure voice.
''Oh shut up with that shit already, I'm not some big bad dragon and if I'm honest you don't interest me, its your mother that's caught my eye and I want her,'' he revealed with a charming smile.
The young woman's face went bright red as he teased. ''I prefer a level headed, mature woman then a feral teen like yourself.''
''Oi stop with your cruel words!'' she snapped as her face went red. ''Now prove to me that your claims are the truth. If you do, I may bring it up with my mother.''
Archer tilted his head just as an angry voice erupted from the necklace. ''You bastard! Stay away from Natalia! She will never look at a fiend like you and I can bet my life on that!''
He chuckled when hearing the Pope's rage-filled voice and looked at the elf with an amused expression. ''Now listen and don't moan anymore.''
Following that, Archer started trolling the old man. ''Well, it's too late my old friend, I already have your granddaughter, now I want the two remaining women in your life, but enough of my plans. Why are you spreading rumors about me ravaging princesses? Don't you know that arc of this story is done now, I'm in my Natalia and Lysandra phase. I do love me a curvy woman.''
Silence rang out until the Pope erupted, forcing the fire elf to start giggling. ''Damn you! Give me Sofia back or all of the underworld will descend upon you! We have a plan that will wipe that smug smile off your face.''
Archer continued to troll the old man and got him to admit that he made up the rumors to turn the common people against him, which surprised the princess, who looked regretful, but to clear the ice he held out his hand. ''I'm Archer Wyldheart.''
She accepted the gesture while introducing herself. ''Azrienna Duskfire, third princess of the Duskfire Empire.''

Following that, Archer led her into the city while sending a message to Aeris, who quickly joined him from the shadows, which made the elf jump with a yelp when the tomboyish young woman appeared.
He quickly hugged the Dark Wraith and spoke in a warm voice as he squeezed her against his chest. ''It's good to see you Aeris, I've missed spending time with you but I'll make it up to you in the winter.''
''Same, my love,'' she murmured, her voice soft as she melted into his embrace, her body yielding to his warmth. ''I'm sorry I haven't been around much, Grandmother's training keeps me busy and breathless but it's improving my powers.''
Archer brushed her words aside, as he dipped his head, pressing a kiss against her lips. She stiffened for a moment, caught off guard by the intensity, but then surrendered, returning it with a quiet happiness that lit the space between them.
While this happened, Azrienna looked between the two of them and exclaimed with wide eyes. ''I thought you don't like younger women!''
Before he could answer, Aeris turned around with a smile. ''He doesn't, I believe apart from Eveline and Aurelia the rest of the women he's got with are older.''
Afterward, the three of them stepped through the Gate and appeared in Dragonheart City as people went about their business with smiles on their faces. The fire elf glanced around with wide orange eyes.
''Why is this place so clean? How is that possible?'' she asked in awe.
Archer pointed down the street as two people were cleaning the street. ''Those are government employees who are paid to clean the city. Aisha organized the kingdom into parts that have certain services that tend to its needs.''
Following that, he pointed at a group of children. ''Look at them, they're allowed out on their own without worry because the Homeguards keep the place safe from all kinds of crime which allows my soldiers to focus on warfare outside the island,'' he revealed.
Azrienna stood dumbfounded, her mind reeling, before she blurted out another question that caught her attention. ''Where are the beggars? The street gangs?''
At that, Aeris burst into laughter, her red eyes glinting with amusement as she turned to a cluster of human women nearby. ''Ladies,'' she called, ''Are there criminals in Dragonheart City? Can you tell our friend here what you think please?''
The women exchanged puzzled glances, but the one in the center caught sight of Archer and froze, her eyes widening in reverence. She dipped into a deep bow, her voice trembling with awe.
''My king, my queen,'' she began. ''To answer your question, we can leave our doors wide open at night without fear. Not a single soul would dare trouble us, for our king's power ensures our safety.''
When the first woman spoke, another added with a big smile. ''He has made it clear to all what fate awaits those who dare harm the women or children of his realm.''
Azrienna stepped forward and asked. ''What do the people think of him?''
The women looked at him with nervous expressions but he smiled at them before reassuring the group. ''Be honest, I won't be offended or punish anyone.''
''You're a playboy madman who collects extremely beautiful women, treasure and many other things but also cares for your people,'' the third commented. ''Which is strange because if you were truly bad like the rumors say, why are you personally paying people to have children and care for their families?''
''To lift them up,'' Archer answered honestly. ''They are the ones who suffer first in a war or famine, that's why I've stockpiled so much food that generations from now they will still be living off what we've farmed so far.''
Following that, Aeris thanked the group of women who continued with their day as they led Azrienna through the city until the afternoon when they returned to the forest with the shocked fire elf.
She looked at him with regret and spoke. ''Sorry for believing the rumors but I'll convince mother to join. Those buildings you called apartments will house so many of our people that the tent cities will vanish.''
Archer chuckled when hearing this before revealing. ''Well part of Duskfire is already getting them. We're knocking down parts of Emberport and rebuilding it. Once it's done, I'll give you and your mother a tour.''
The fire elf giggled. ''She's a hard nut to crack since my father died decades ago, but I'd be happy to see her smile again,'' she said.
