Instead, the blades of light sank into the dark green vortex without a sound, but as they pierced halfway into the vortex, the latter began to rapidly revolve, twisting the blades of light together like lengths of rope to form a bridge that connected the two vortexes.

As soon as the bridge was established, both of the vortexes began to rumble violently.

Chaotic clouds surged out of the chaotic vortex before flowing over the bridge, while plumes of green mist emerged from the dark green vortex, and initially, the two seemed evenly matched, with neither side able to get the better of the other.

However, a burst of deafening rumbling then suddenly began to ring out from within the chaotic vortex, and it sped up drastically in its revolution.

The dark green vortex was far smaller, and it appeared to have been significantly weaker as well. Before long, the dark green mist rising up from it was beginning to be sucked involuntarily into the chaotic vortex.

"The chaotic vortex has already devoured all of the world's origin qi in the entire Middle Earth Immortal Region, and it's continuing to devour more from other immortal regions.
