Abyss Draconis-Chapter 413: Stuck Together
"You get it, Ryuk. Just lay low. This will pass soon."
"Yeah, I get it, MadWhite."
"And sorry, I can't get you someplace to lie low. Those Power Houses have their radars on me right now."
"Even the calls we're making now… I'm not a hundred percent certain they aren't being listened to," MadWhite said as Ryuk raised an eyebrow.
"Well, that's some serious shitty situation you also got yourself into."
"It's not really that bad as my dad is awake now."
"They've all gone meek, but they might attack you though."
"So just find some little place for yourself and don't step out for a few weeks and you should be fine."
"Also, get rid of this device after this call."
"Trust me, it's probably already being tracked as we speak," MadWhite said, as Ryuk's eyes beamed in a bit of shock.
Even this device and the call he was making weren't safe still and could be getting tracked down!? Then where the fuck were the so-called customer privacy then?"
"I understand. See you later, MadWhite."
"Stay safe, kiddo. And I trust you won't go causing trouble around, right?" MadWhite asked, as Ryuk shrugged his shoulders.
"I'll try my best. See ya..." he said before he broke off the call, and in the next instant, a void vortex materialized in front of him.
He threw the phone in before it closed back before Ryuk turned behind him, where Aster reclined on her bike, looking at him with a curious glance that said:
What now?
"Four weeks in that place. I'm pretty sure you're done with your seclusion, no?" Ryuk asked her as Asteralaxia shrugged her shoulders.
"I am. Just need comprehension, and that won't be achieved in meditation. So, I'm pretty free now."
"Then we need to part."
"I'll create a new clause for you to leave and plant a new one to stop you from hurting Endearthians. That should get rid of the problem."
"When I need you, I'll find you," Ryuk stated as the contract grimoire slipped out of the void.
And with some little tweaks, Aster felt her bound location freeing up, but a new clause soon appeared, rendering her unable to harm or kill Endearthians.
"Tch, I already gave you my word not to hurt them sine we're now on the same boat? Why did you still think I would hurt them?" she said with an annoyed expression as Ryuk released the contract grimoire, letting it slip back into the void before he turned to look at Asteralaxia.
"Not like I don't trust your words."
"Just that… my uncle used to say a man's word is his virtue. Something that must be guarded more than his life."
"He never said it was a woman's."
"You bastard!"

"And also, the Contract Grimoire is safer. Keeps me more reassured," He added as he turned back, leaving on some random path.
"You know, if I don't want you to find me, you never will, right? This is what you are using to track me isn't it" Aster asked, and Ryuk turned back, finding the communication device that he had been using to track her and watched as she threw it into the snow.
"You can't find me now. You sure you just want to turn back and leave without worry?" Aster asked with a curious smile as she watched him looked at the device buried in the ground before he turned back to her.
"It's a deal, Aster. A mutual one. If you want your freedom, we need to work together."
"Why do I need to find you? If you were hidden and we ended up getting defeated by the Knulls, then you're stuck forever under me."
"You might still think you just need to outgrow me to get off my command, but did you forget we made another contract?"
"Now you need to get off two contracts, and if anything, that should make it harder to break now, doesn't it?" Ryuk said with a shrug as he continued his walk—but not before completing:
"We're both stuck in this together, Aster. There's no one running away from the other," he added, leaving Aster clicking her tongue.
'Damn kid. He's calculated everything. I thought he was formerly being naive making that deal, but it seems like I was the one naive to even agree to it. Tch,' she thought, clicking her tongue again before Ryuk felt her power bike revving up powerfully, and the sound of the tires starting to move, but then…
PSLASSSHHHHH
A large fall of snow came lashing at him from the side, bathing him up as Ryuk's face scrunched out when he found some of it finding its way into his nose.
"Hey! Watch it!" Ryuk shouted back as he looked at Aster, who sat on the bike to the side.
"Come on in," she said, as Ryuk raised an eyebrow.
"What?"
"You're looking for a place to hide, no? Then I have a place you might like..." she said as Ryuk's eyes flashed with perplexion.
His expression screaming.
But why?
"We're in this together. Isn't that what you just said?" she asked with a smirk as Ryuk raised an eyebrow.
"We might be facing about a hundred Cataclysm-stage experts and maybe a dozen Pseudo-Eternals You sure you want to risk your life?"
"You could be out there in some 10-star hotel, enjoying some hot bath with a juice beside you, you know?"
"Pretty sure your beauty is enough to charm some idiot out for some star coins... or just go rob a bank."
"The first idea—I thought you were praising my beauty and was feeling pretty good about it... right until you said I should go rob a bank!"
"It's a plausible way?" Ryuk said with a shrug.
"You know, just because you're an immoral scoundrel doesn't mean everyone is, right?" she said as Ryuk shrugged it off before thinking:
You don't look like one that exactly cares anyway.
"And just so you know, I've never been afraid of some Cataclysm-stage 'experts' Or some Pseudo-eternal stage expert."
"I never was—even of an army of Eternity stage expert in the past, and I wouldn't be now either."
"So shut your trap up and get on the bike already!"
