Abyss Solo-Chapter 210 - 115 Capture the Commander_3
Chapter 210: 115 Capture the Commander!_3
Chapter 210: 115 Capture the Commander!_3
Yang Ming shouldered the tactical backpack, securing the laser gun, the Light Sword, and the Emergency Shield Generator.
He pushed open the exit left by the shipping container. Outside was a light blue hover motorcycle, fitted with several dark cannon barrels in front and back, and a small, sixteen-barreled vertical launch unit at the rear.
Yang Ming turned to Lyu and winked.
“I’ve never fought in such a well-equipped battle.”
“Oh, Father! You need to seriously reconsider this crazy plan!”
Lyu still wanted to say something, but Yang Ming had already nimbly leaped onto the hover motorcycle.
A semi-circular protective shield enveloped Yang Ming; the hover motorcycle roared a few times and swiftly exited the warehouse, diving into the gray night of the Space Port.
Lyu stood there for a long time, then sighed a bit dejectedly, closed the small door of the container, and sat back on the small stool in the corner.
The next half hour was excruciating for Lyu.
From a distance, explosions could be heard faintly, as if intense firefights were taking place.
Lyu couldn’t sit still any longer.
He stood up and pressed his palm against the metal wall of the container, gathering some errant signals.
Interference, ambush.
Chaos, intense combat.
It was as if Lyu could see the continual explosion flames, the crisscrossing barrage of light rain, and Yang Ming driving the hover motorcycle, dodging left and right, racing wildly while locked on by missiles…
Oh, Father was too reckless!
Father was the foundational life form of the Dark City; if he met with trouble, the Dark City would lose its spiritual pillar. All the superior mechanical thought bodies that could leave the Dark City would lose the possibility of developing forward.
Didn’t Father cultivate some special forces?
Father actually wanted to personally charge into battle!
This was simply…
Screech—
A sudden metallic hinge-scraping sound came from the side. Lyu turned to look and saw Yang Ming carrying “another him.”
“Lyu, head to the hover vehicle parked outside, quick!”
Yang Ming whispered.
Lyu rushed over immediately. As he brushed past Yang Ming, he glimpsed at the deeply unconscious real Leon, who was presumably overdosed with a sedative.
Outside the container, a hover vehicle with a deformed front hood was parked. Lyu clumsily scrambled into the back seat, tearing off his cloak.
Lyu saw three forklifts moving simultaneously outside the warehouse, quickly closing in while holding three shipping containers.
Inside the container, Yang Ming restrained General Leon on the “electric torture chair,” placing a helmet onto the old general’s forehead.
“Lyu, start this thing!”
“Activated. Boss, should we spare his life for future use?”
“Extract his memory entirely, no need to spare his life,” Yang Ming whispered, “Synchronize the data transmission to Lyu.”
“Yes!”
Yang Ming retreated quickly, rushed out through the container exit, and climbed into the back seat of the hover vehicle, which sped out of the warehouse controlled by Lyu.
Lyu turned his head just in time to see the three forklifts move in unison, stacking the three containers outside of the one he was originally in.
A stream of data appeared in Lyu’s True Son’s Brain.
Lyu dared not delay and immediately began receiving the data, quickly adjusting his expression to one of anger and panic; he purposely leaned next to Yang Ming’s hand for an easy grab on his collar.
After two minutes of driving, several small attack boats rapidly approached.
“Release General Leon! You are surrounded!”
A hurried shout came from outside.
Yang Ming took out a network terminal from the car’s back seat, upon which a transfer interface appeared. Lyu understood instantly and entered a series of accounts and passwords.
It was a ruse, intended to explain how General Leon escaped.
Yang Ming whispered, “Later, you’ll have to help me leave. After Lyu gives you the signal, you order the destruction of the transport ship I’ll hijack next.”
“Okay, boss,” Lyu asked softly, “Then what about you? Oh, right, that Particle Transmission Machine.”

Yang Ming grinned, “This is my biggest trump card and secret; only you and Lyu know about it now. Never let it leak out at any time.”
Lyu’s eyes sparkled, and he solemnly nodded.
He believed.
Father truly trusted him deeply.
