After Transmigrating as a Tycoon's Wife, My Thoughts Are Heard by the Whole Family-Chapter 375
Qin Chao and Qin Rong: We’re not immune; we’re being poisoned here.
Qin Yi, though unable to hear Ji Fei’s inner thoughts, empathized with the situation. Being a bit older, he spoke calmly, “Aunt Qin, isn’t that an inappropriate thing to say? How could that person possibly be a better match than Jiaxi? Your daughter is the victim here.”
Aunt Qin furrowed her brows, finding this group of people increasingly annoying. When had it become acceptable for outsiders to constantly interrupt her conversations with her own daughter?

Just as she was about to retort, Ji Fei spoke up.
“Cousin, why would you say that? Yu Xin and Su Ze are a perfect match, and of course, Jiaxi doesn’t compare.”
Qin Yi and Jiaxi, unfamiliar with Ji Fei’s style, were momentarily stunned. However, they instinctively felt there was more to her statement. If anyone else had said it, Jiaxi would have been deeply hurt. But since Ji Fei was speaking, she immediately wanted to hear the rest.
Aunt Qin, on the other hand, briefly thought she had found an ally in Ji Fei. Finally, someone who could read the room and say something agreeable! Just as she was about to echo Ji Fei’s words, Ji Fei smiled and continued, “How could someone normal like Jiaxi ever match someone like Su Ze? Su Ze and Yu Xin are a match made in heaven. You know the saying: a scumbag and a shameless woman are destined for eternal love.”
That single sentence left Aunt Qin speechless, her face twisting with anger.
She wanted to lash out, but the others were already laughing uproariously.
She considered arguing, but several people were giving Ji Fei a thumbs-up, agreeing, “You’re absolutely right!”
She thought of defending herself, but Ji Fei wasn’t done. Smiling, she added, “Aunt Qin, you’ve got real foresight. You recognized that a cheating scumbag like Su Ze didn’t deserve your daughter and paired him with someone as fitting as [N O V E L I G H T] a mistress. Don’t worry; Jiaxi won’t hold a grudge. After all, Uncle Qin has already exacted revenge for her. Holding a grudge now would just seem petty.”
Ji Fei then turned to Jiaxi, her tone softening but her words laced with steel. “Jiaxi, listen to your mother. Next time you see Yu Xin, remind her to behave and not act shamelessly around the Qin family’s young lady. If she does, well, we know how to put people in their place.”
Her last words were spoken in a low, cold voice, her gaze fixed icily on Aunt Qin.
In that moment, her demeanor eerily resembled Qin Xian’s.
Aunt Qin was utterly taken aback. For a brief moment, she was stunned into silence by this young woman’s commanding presence, unable to utter a single word in response.
When she recovered, her face had gone pale with fury.
What made it worse was that her daughter, Qin Jiaxi, actually responded, “Got it.”
Aunt Qin couldn’t help but shoot a sharp, accusatory glare at Jiaxi.
Today, Qin Jiaxi felt like a stranger to her. The timid little girl who used to try so hard to please her had disappeared. Even when facing her directly, Jiaxi’s expression remained cold and detached.
Yet, she could smile at others.
To Aunt Qin, those smiles felt alien. In her memory, there were no moments when Jiaxi had ever smiled like that.
Instead of reflecting on her own actions, Aunt Qin blamed Jiaxi for being an ungrateful brat, a disgrace who sought approval from others in the Qin family. Truly, she had been an annoyance since childhood. Yu Xin, obedient and considerate, was far superior.
Thinking about her upcoming plan, Aunt Qin decided to let this go for now. She pretended not to notice the insults and continued, “Well, it’s good you’ve broken up. As it happens, a friend of mine has a son who recently came to the city for business. He doesn’t know anyone here yet, so you can help him settle in and make friends.”
Without waiting for Jiaxi to respond, Aunt Qin waved someone over with a bright smile—a smile so radiant it resembled a blooming flower, a level of warmth she never showed anyone in the Qin family.
The implication was obvious: Aunt Qin was trying to set Jiaxi up with someone new.
But Uncle Qin hadn’t mentioned anything about this.
Judging by Jiaxi’s resistant expression, it was clear she disliked this arrangement. After all, she had just come out of a failed relationship.
Ji Fei’s thoughts, however, were straightforward.
“How strange. Aunt Qin isn’t the type to genuinely care about her daughter. Is she worried Jiaxi being single might interfere with her precious Yu Xin and Su Ze’s relationship? After all, the Su family had wanted to connect with Jiaxi, not Yu Xin.”
The others, meanwhile, were curious to see what kind of person Aunt Qin would introduce to Jiaxi.
Then they saw him.
A chubby man, sweating as he walked briskly, approached with a smile plastered across his face. His features included a greasy complexion, pockmarked skin, and an overall appearance that was unappetizing.
Not all heirs of wealthy families were handsome, but they usually took care of themselves, appearing clean and polished. This man, however, seemed completely out of place in this setting.
This was Aunt Qin’s pick?
The Qin family members’ eyes widened in disbelief, and Jiaxi’s face turned pale.
Was this what her mother thought she deserved?
Their instincts told them not to judge based on appearance, but that resolve evaporated in the next moment.
Ji Fei and Qin Rong both felt an uncomfortable, leering gaze sweeping over them.
It wasn’t just greasy—it was downright sleazy, especially when it lingered on Ji Fei.
“You look familiar,” the man said, smiling as he addressed Ji Fei. “You look like a celebrity.”
Instead of greeting anyone else, he went straight for Ji Fei.
Her expression darkened immediately as she turned a cold gaze toward Aunt Qin.
Aunt Qin, however, maintained her doting smile as she looked at the man.
Qin Chao’s temper flared. His voice turned icy as he snapped at the man, “If your eyes wander over here one more time, I’ll gouge them out.” He then grabbed a fork from the dessert tray and stabbed it forcefully into a cake, causing the man to flinch and avert his gaze.
Aunt Qin acted oblivious to the man’s inappropriate behavior, frowning instead at Qin Chao. “What are you doing? This is my friend’s son. You should all be getting along.”
“Ha, I’m allergic to ugly,” Qin Chao retorted haughtily.
The man’s expression turned sour, but he didn’t dare retaliate.
Aunt Qin, clearly upset, ignored Qin Chao and turned back to the man. “Ah Chang, let me introduce you. This is my daughter, Qin Jiaxi. If you ever need help, feel free to rely on her. Treat her as family and get along well.”
With that, she motioned for the man to sit next to Jiaxi.
The man glanced at Jiaxi, his face showing disappointment. Jiaxi was quite pretty, but compared to Ji Fei and Qin Rong, she seemed less remarkable. Clearly, he had thought one of the other two would be introduced to him. Now, seeing Jiaxi, he couldn’t hide his regret.
Ji Fei noticed his disappointed look, and when he tried to inch closer to Jiaxi as he sat down, she felt her blood boiling.
“Jiaxi, come here,” Ji Fei said immediately.
