Am I a Healer? You'd Better Think So!-Chapter 17: Chaos Established
Chapter 17 - Chaos Established
Even though her expression didn't change, those beautiful amber eyes shone when she heard those words. Then, Darian calmly murmured, revealing exactly what the Blessing of that elf was.
When Niara realized, she wasn't sure whether to be shocked by the Blessing or to wonder how Darian had figured it out.
Although Darian didn't know the exact name, he had perfectly seen the uses of the Blessing and was sure of what it was. It was easy to identify because there was a huge flaw that the elf couldn't hide from his allies.
In past visions that Darian saw from the elf, everyone had fought and killed other Summoners by getting around this flaw. They even mentioned a few things that made everything even more obvious.
His power was so good that calling it godly wouldn't be an understatement. It was all about initiative, and calling that power 'God of Initiative' might even be the perfect name.
Whenever the bow and arrow were used to attack a target for the first time, spatial laws would distort, and the laws of that universe would magically guide his attack to the target, no matter the distance. As long as he knew exactly who he wanted to strike and the direction of the target, his attack would always hit the victim's blind spot.
Of course, the greater the distance, the more energy it consumed. So, there was a limit, or he could shoot and hit someone in another galaxy. However, as long as the distance was within a hundred meters, even without seeing, he could execute the attack without losing too much energy.
All subsequent attacks were normal — in fact, he would become much weaker than usual for a while, as retribution. Only the first attack against a target worked, and he could never use it twice on the same person.
But... he wisely used a bow and arrow. Upon striking, his arrow was imbued with a powerful poison. Even if the initial attack didn't kill, the poison would weaken the target drastically, making them easy prey.
It was a Divine Blessing for assassination. Even with just three rings, eliminating a much stronger target was simple. He would poison them, and in sync, his allies would finish the job.
Niara took a deep breath.
He didn't use poison when he shot at her because he thought it was a waste. Just the arrow material was already terrifying. As for the reason he wanted to kill them, that was still a mystery.
It was easy to assume that, after the attack, he thought it was impossible for Niara to survive, and no one looked back. Also, he couldn't attack again with his Blessing.
"What do you want to do?" She asked, ready for any crazy thing he might propose.
Darian waved his hand and then turned his attention to the battle ahead. Soon, he saw something that made him smile excitedly.
That powerful Risen had already been poisoned by the elf and would fall very soon.
At the enemy's front lines, there was a tank preventing their advance. It was a Summoner, and their partner had a strange, round shape just a few meters tall. Both were covered by rocks, looking like golems.
Niara explained to Darian: that Blessing was quite simple and everyone knew it — the Blessing of Earth's Fortress.
The name was self-explanatory, a defense made of earth to protect. Even though it was widely known, it was still extremely efficient. Blessings didn't need to be absurdly abnormal; sometimes, simple and practical was the best choice.
But the key was what the Summoner was holding: a simple saber, something no one would give value to. But inside it, there was a core.

Darian focused and closed his eyes.
In that advanced region, six different battles were happening against the powerful Risen.
"In the other fights, the tanks and fighters are definitely using the weapons we sold. Not all of them, but it's easy to assume that most of the buyers are the stronger ones in this battle." Darian murmured, and Niara nodded.
Remembering that, besides Ceug, everyone there only had three rings. Ceug's strongest allies didn't come — they were probably 'protecting' the galaxy elsewhere. But among those with three rings, he also had allies, like the elf and that tank.
"Let's cause chaos." He murmured, and the slug squirmed.

Minutes passed.
*BANG! BANG! BANG!*
The tank and its Summoner, both covered in rocks, were being attacked and slowly retreating, but they held their ground.
The attacker was a creature more than three meters tall, immensely dense and powerful, resembling an ogre holding a heavy mallet in frenzy.
The Risen was burning its last strengths, and that's why the tank was retreating. But it was almost over...
Until something was caught by the Summoner's senses.
He quickly turned his gaze and saw something tiny and round coming from very far away toward him.
"What?"
*Booom!*
A small explosion happened very close to him. It didn't have destructive power and caused no damage, but...
A dense black wave of miasma spread in all directions.
The miasma continued to expand... and expand.
*Booom! Booom! Booom!*
Explosions echoed in sequence, one after another. In total, there were five identical detonations.
**RYAAARGH!!**
A deafening roar, as if coming from an apocalyptic creature, echoed. Just the sound made everything tremble.
"Shit..."
The two earth tanks froze in place, tense.
The roar came from their enemy. As for the area where they were fighting...
Suddenly, the miasma multiplied more than ten times, and this directly reflected the power of the Risen. The Risen forces that were nearing their end now replenished and surged far beyond normal.
"Hold him!" A sharp shout came from behind. It was the elf's Summoner. "It was that bitch! I don't know how she survived, but she's behind this! I have to capture her!"
He said and ran without looking back.
**KBOOM!**
Immediately, the two earth tanks were launched several meters, crashing against the ground and rolling, opening a huge trench in the process.
They quickly got up, their glorious defenses almost destroyed.
Hold them? They could barely survive.
As for the Risen... a demonic smile appeared on his face.
All the extra miasma moved in his direction, and he absorbed it all at once.
The Summoner tightened his weapon. He had only one last resort left.
He didn't want to use it because it was a one-time use, but it was a hidden salvation card. He only discovered its existence after spending two-thirds of his resources on the weapon, but now, it would save him.
The blade pulsed.
Then, all the metal shone in pure white.
*Slash!*
With a single movement, the miasma was easily split.

Niara ran at full speed toward the other fight.
At a certain distance, she stopped, jumped, and flapped her wings with all her strength.
The laws of wind easily distorted with this movement. Then, a small slug, positioned inside her clothes, removed the white seal and threw a black pill.
Then another.
And another.
'Go!'
He signaled, and they shot off toward the distant battle.
'He can't catch us.' Darian spoke, sensing the Summoner and the elf running just behind them. 'He must still be on cooldown after using his Blessing. All his power becomes very weak for a while, even running is hard. We'll have time!'
Luckily, Niara had wings, and her wings were powerful, granting her great speed. Of course, if those two were at full strength, they would catch up in two minutes.
Niara ran, feeling her blood heat up. Darian knowing exactly what kind of Blessing and even discovering its weaknesses was something hard to comprehend.
An hour passed.
The duo was in the region between the first and second lines. Niara flew quickly, then landed, and Darian performed hidden actions.
**BOOOM!**
**BOOOM!**
At seven different points, coming from the first frontline, terrifying roars and explosions echoed nonstop.
'Chaos Established!' Darian said, excited.
All the Summoners came, in theory, to kill the Risen and destroy the abyssal nest... but these two did the opposite and buffed the most powerful Risen absurdly. If anyone knew this, shock and horror would be mild words to describe the situation.
Out of the ten thousand with three rings, only the 15 most powerful, along with Ceug, were at the first battle line. The rest stayed at the second.
Even with Ceug having six rings, it was now difficult to just hold on against these buffed Risen... As for the others, they survived thanks to the power of the 'holy weapons.' Still, the whole front line was in chaos, on the brink of collapse.
Before, they were confident they could defeat the seven most powerful Risen without spending too many resources... Now, they doubted if they would leave alive.
But Darian was sure they would survive.
Their weapons were sold, and he put all the white power into their cores. He burned everything he had at that moment, believing it might be useful.
Yes, he gave something very valuable to the possible enemies who bought the weapons. The chances of this being a historically foolish move were 99%.
'A gamble is a gamble. If it works, it works!'
From what he felt, the buff on the Risen would last for another hour. The power in the weapons should last about the same.
In the end, he bought time... He made the Risen, who were about to fall in a few minutes, fight for much longer.
Now they had to make use of this gained time...
Niara interrupted her flight and landed on the ground with a cold look.
'The fish is in the net.' Darian murmured mentally between the two.
She landed because, if she tried to stay in the sky, she'd be an easy target. There was no escape, as compared to the enemies, she was a slow ant.
Coming from opposite sides and surrounding her, just a few meters away, were two Summoners and their Spiritual Guardians.
Both radiating a yellow aura from their three rings.
