Chapter 283: Chapter 172: Ranch Jewelry_2

"There’s a Corvette waiting for us to pick up at the repair shop."

Sieg remained in contact with Melvin, who was in charge of surveillance, and learned that the Mexican mechanic had finished his shift. The jammer produced by Blitz was effective; the target was smoothly acquired.

Allen Zhang was also somewhat surprised by the young man’s ability to act, as he managed to complete the task alone without their help. This was no small feat; he decided to give the guy a raise and have them drive to support him.

It wasn’t long before the Jeep returned to the modification shop with a black Corvette in tow. Allen Zhang inquired, "You’re sure no one noticed any traces, right?"

"Boss, don’t worry, we are always very meticulous in our work."

After inspecting the car, Allen Zhang also had Blitz take responsibility for contacting those in the Black Market who wanted to buy cars. The ideal buyers would be those from out of town.

Seeing that the business was handled, Allen Zhang simply let Bailey and the others off work and drove with Sieg and Blitz to the suburbs to retrieve the jewelry worth Two Hundred Thousand Dollars.

What good can come to you if the item coveted by the General Sect Leader, like Black Boots and white gloves, falls into your hands?

On the road to the countryside ranch in the suburbs. Sieg couldn’t help but ask, "Is it really okay with just the three of us?"

"We’re just picking up some goods, not going to war. The more people we have, the more likely we are to cause a commotion. What we need to do is stealthily transfer those jewels."

Allen Zhang drove steadily, instructing Blitz to prepare in advance for the camera jammers.

After driving for several minutes, they arrived at the ranch in the small town, parked the car by the side of the road, and walked to the local dairy farm.

Upon inspection, the private ranch wasn’t large, with only a simple fence and wire mesh on the perimeter. The place was rarely frequented by people, and the meat vending stalls had already closed for the night. Blitz investigated the homeowners and discovered they were an elderly white couple.

"This house was built in 1988. The rancher, John Deer, migrated here from Texas. He’s a typical white family man who married locally, has a son and two daughters. The son works as a department manager at an advertising company in Los Angeles. The daughters are already married, and he has been living here for thirty years with his connections limited to neighbors in this small town."

Blitz spoke again, "Though they’re called an ordinary family, they’re actually not that ordinary. John Deer once had another identity, known as Valdi. He killed someone by mistake in Texas, fled here to settle down, but back then technology wasn’t as advanced, camera surveillance and investigative evidence gathering were difficult, plus he had fled so far away. Ultimately, even though he was confirmed by the police as the murderer from thirty years ago, due to the length of time, cross-state law enforcement difficulties, among other issues, he only sat in jail for a week and paid several thousand dollars to be acquitted by the court."

It’s baffling why those people would hide the briefcase here, but the ranch owner must also be implicated. It’s either his daughter or his son’s doing; otherwise, Black Boots wouldn’t hide things here without reason.

But none of this matters to them, and no one would know that they were behind this.

An unsolved mystery of Los Angeles.

"Since they are elderly, we shouldn’t rashly disturb their rest." Allen Zhang simply had Sieg, who was physically agile, go and fetch the items while he and Blitz kept watch.

"Why me?" Sieg wondered.

"Do you want us to go instead?"

Allen Zhang spread his hands and said, "Look, we have a sick technician, and a leader who planned this operation. Out of the three of us here, who do you think is supposed to take action?"

"Hurry up! Remember, it’s a black briefcase, hidden in the shed of a cow with folded ears."

Having clarified the specifics to Sieg, he still perplexed but stealthily climbed over the fence into the ranch and snuck into the stables.

About fifteen minutes later, Sieg emerged covered in mud and dirt, carrying a black briefcase, reeking of a foul smell.

"Fxxk! Those guys hid this thing under a haystack, took me forever to find! I even tripped and kissed a cow’s ass! Luckily, those cows didn’t attack me! I fed them some grass they like to eat." Sieg looked upset, trying to hand over the briefcase to the General Sect Leader.

Without changing his expression, Allen Zhang took a step back, "You go take a shower first. Buddy, I’m not in a hurry."

"On the way here, there was a faucet for watering flowers in the yard next door. But you better not make too much noise, or if you wake up the homeowners and they come out to shoot you, you’ll have nowhere to complain," Blitz said.

Sieg looked at the disgusted expressions of the two men, sighed, and said, "Well, who asked for me to be born to do the tough work. Boss, you’re sure you’re going to help me invest in a gun store, right?"

"We’ll talk about that later," said Allen Zhang.

"What?"

"Go take a shower!"

"Ok..."

Sieg, carrying the bag, entered the yard, turned on the faucet, and started scrubbing himself, until the homeowner heard the gushing water outside and felt something was off, peeking through the window to see someone showering in their yard.

"WTF! Who the hell is this vagabond?"

The homeowner was a bit flustered, he hurriedly rummaged through his house to find a gun, stepped outside, and shouted loudly: "Hey! Mister, need some help?"

Seeing trouble brewing, Sieg promptly grabbed his clothes and ran off with his butt naked.

Not a word said, just bolted.

"You’d better not have done anything fishy! Buddy!"

Watching the guilty-looking figure flee, the homeowner’s heart settled back down, and under the moonlight, as he gazed at the reflective butt cheeks, he couldn’t help but murmur, "Pretty white ass..."

He carried his gun back inside and returned to the yard.

Allen Zhang and Blitz were chatting in the car, looking for clients, when they heard someone knocking on the windows; turning their heads, they saw Sieg with his hair all wet, frantically knocking from the outside, "Open up! Quick, open the door!"

Allen Zhang pressed the unlock button on the RV, and Sieg slid into the car like an eel, heaving a sigh of relief.

"What’s the big rush for? You got spotted?"

"It’s all your brilliant ideas!! I was nearly mistaken for a burglar." Sieg said, annoyed, tossing the handbag to the two, "This time there’s no bullshit on top!"

Allen Zhang casually caught the handbag, unzipped it to have a look, and saw it was full of gold and jewels, diamond rings, gold necklaces, pearls as big as a pinky finger.

"Just this pearl necklace should be worth a fortune!" Sieg also exclaimed: "We’re rich!" freewēbnoveℓ.com

"We’ve got to find someone to quickly offload this loot. Gold is easy enough, but for pearls and diamonds, we need to find a reliable person to sell them." Allen Zhang simply handed these items to Blitz to deal with through his contacts in the Black Market.

He himself took three gold necklaces, around 16 grams each, and put them in his pocket.

That stuff wasn’t worth much anyway, just around one thousand dollars, and he’s sold them before.

"This will be handy for me, you guys don’t mind, do you?" Allen Zhang asked.

Blitz and Sieg nodded in agreement, "No objections."

Allen Zhang was pleased and pocketed them. He took out his phone, snapped a photo, and sent it to Rena, Olivia, and Jennifer.

Allen Zhang: Like it?

Rena: Is it for me?

Allen Zhang: It’s for the most beautiful woman in the world.

Rena: You’re so sweet! Honey! Do you have time now? I miss you!

Allen Zhang: Not sweeter than you.

Rena: Stop it!! Are you reminiscing that taste?

Allen Zhang: Can I come over now?

Rena: Maybe another day? I still have work. Can’t go to bed too late. :)

Allen Zhang: Ok.

Then he opened the chat with Olivia, who also warmly invited the General Sect Leader for a friendly match.

Olivia: Honey! When are you planning to give it to me? How about tonight?

Allen Zhang: Are you sure you’ve got time now?

Olivia: [Photo], when I’m bored alone, I can only play with little toys. Hoping you’ll keep your word!

She sent a provocative photo right away, a bathroom filled with steam, her body covered in bubbles, entertaining herself.

Who could resist that? Allen Zhang quickly saved the photo.
