An Extra's POV: My Three Fiancees Hate Me-Chapter 69: Ally
Chapter 69: Ally
Noel pulled out his sword. He looked at Liana standing there, exhausted and shocked. The goblin decomposed and left behind its crystal, and he picked it up.
He walked toward her and handed it to her. She glanced at the crystal, and her gaze turned cold. "You killed it, it belongs to you," she said.
"You fought it to a weakened state," he argued. She saw that he was about to go back and forth about taking it from him, so she opted for a quick solution to the issue.
"Hand it to them," she said and pointed to the other two here.
"Aren’t they with you?" he asked.
"No, I met them after fighting in a boss room and killing the monster. That was why I was weak when I fought this one," she said.
"I see," Noel responded. He took the crystal and handed it to the girl. The first was reluctant to take it, but he assured her.
"Take it, seriously," he said. She looked at him with an uncertain gaze, but she knew how much she needed that crystal, and so she took it and left along with the boy.
Noel walked back to Liana. She stared at him as he approached. "I’m guessing you already know me—Noel Von Grave, the brother to your fiancé," Noel said.
"Yes, I do, sadly," she responded, her voice sounding high and mighty.
"You know, for someone that nearly got killed by just a small goblin champion, you have a lot of pride," he said casually.
She turned when she heard that, her eyes blazed with anger.
"What the hell did you say? Do you not know who I am?" she asked.
"Of course I know who you are, but being the daughter of a Duke doesn’t mean you get to say whatever you want and get away with it," Noel said.
"Don’t think you can give me a lecture because you killed the goblin. I told you before, I was weakened from fighting a floor boss," she said, her pride still in her voice.
"So? What does that change? Where the hell did you think I came out of? Wasn’t it a boss room? Yet I managed to kill what you couldn’t even after a boss room.
You aren’t better than everyone, so get that idea out of your head. You especially aren’t better than Riven," he said and started walking away.
"I knew this was where it was going to. You are sad because I refused your brother and came to break the engagement. You feel hurt, right?" she asked, sounding smug and prideful.
Noel paused. He didn’t say anything for a few seconds, his eyes just looked forward. "I also had that mindset about him—that there was nothing special, nothing good about him—but you’d be shocked to actually learn the type of person he is.
Also, I saw what you three did to him, ganging up on him as if it was his fault that he was engaged to you. Let me make this clear, I owe my life to Riven, and I’ll do whatever it takes to make sure that he will be safe. So if you three try to touch him, you’ll have me to contend with," Noel said and continued walking.
"You are really threatening the daughter of a Duke? You might be strong and talented, Noel, but talent will only take you a certain distance. Learn to pick your allies better," she said and then turned around, walking in the other direction.
"I already have the best ally," he muttered and continued walking.

"Phew, that was tough," Riven said after slashing through the last skeleton. He looked at the goblin with a smile on his face.
"You are definitely a rare one, to be able to do something like this," he said, then pointed his sword at the goblin. "Sadly, I’ll need to take you down now for the sake of points," he said and then took a step forward before dashing toward the goblin.
The goblin had no other way to escape this and so it smashed the orb on the ground. Purple fog shot out of it like jet propulsion and filled the air.
The fog then came together and began taking shape. Bones formed around it, and soon, a twelve-foot bone monster with purple fog and a bone dagger stood in front of him.
The skeleton wasted no time and immediately went for an attack.
’This necromancer goblin is pretty much something else,’ Riven thought as he jumped back to dodge the attack and then fired flame blast at point-blank range and knocked the head back.
He followed up with a flurry of attacks, his sword cutting through the thick bones of the skeleton. The skeleton began to panic and stabbed down with full speed. Riven rolled out of the way, got on his feet, and immediately used flame blast again, exploding one of the arms into bits.
He charged in, moving in a zigzag pattern to confuse the skeleton, and when he was in range, he leaped into the air and went for the head.
The skeleton could barely react as he cut through its head and allowed all the fog to escape and dissipate.
He landed on the ground as the skeleton decomposed as well. He looked at the ground, but there was no crystal there—just like the other skeletons.
"I wished you would drop crystals though, but I guess it can’t be helped since they aren’t really monsters," he said as he approached the goblin.
The goblin, seeing it was out of options, charged in recklessly.
"I guess you are only good at necromancy," Riven said and slashed down the goblin. He picked up the crystal and placed it in the strip.

"That’s better. Now to head on," Riven said and continued deeper, but as he took the next turn, a massive rock flew toward his head. He leaped out of the way, and the rock smashed into the wall.
