Apocalypse Cheater-Chapter 266: Unwanted Visitors Part 1
[: 3rd POV :]
It's been a few days since Daniel bestowed powerful enhancements upon Leila and Cecilia.
As the world adjusted to its change brought about by Earth's evolution, a wave of visitors arrived, shrouded in mystery.
The nature of their intentions whether they brought malice or goodwill remained uncertain.
In an unknown continent that had mysteriously risen from the depths of the ocean during this evolutionary upheaval, an ethereal portal descended from the sky.
The air shimmered with energy as it opened, revealing figures emerging from its depths.
They were humans but they were anything but ordinary.
Clad in flowing white robes adorned with intricate golden designs that resembled ancient symbols of lion, they exuded an aura of authority.
However, amongst them, one figure stood apart, an individual draped in a stark black robe, absorbing the surrounding light and casting a shadow over the others.
"Hmm? What an odd planet," one of the visitors remarked, his voice low and filled with intrigue, sending a ripple of curiosity through the group.
"Senior," another chimed in, his tone respectful yet edged with fascination, "it appears this is a newly evolved planet. The Qi I sense here is... refreshing."
His eyes sparkled with wonder, hinting at the promise of untapped potential.
The figure referred to as 'Senior' stroked his chin thoughtfully, his gaze sweeping over the landscape.
"That's quite surprising," he replied, a mix of surprise and intrigue coloring his voice.
"I never expected a newly evolved planet to harbor such refined spiritual energy."
A sense of anticipation built in the air, as if the very essence of the planet held secrets waiting to be unveiled, drawing them deeper into its mysteries.
"What shall we do with this planet?" one of the visitors asked, his voice laced with concern.
"The 'Alliance' has commanded us to inspect it, yet we could never have anticipated the presence of such high-quality spiritual energy here."
The Senior's gaze narrowed, and a hint of suspicion crept into his voice.
"Are you genuinely asking me that, knowing full well what the answer is?"
The air grew heavy with tension as the visitor momentarily faltered, his resolve wavering.
"Forgive me, Senior," he stammered, his voice barely above a whisper. "I… I
forgot."
A silence enveloped them, thick with unspoken truths and the weight of their mission, as the implications of their findings hung in the air like an impending storm.
"The number one rule of our way of life," the Senior thundered, his voice resonating with authority, "is that the strong survive while the weak suffer!"
His words hung in the air, heavy with conviction.
"It has always been this way since the dawn of our existence. What can this world possibly do against us? What can a weak planet like this even hope to do in the face of our power?"
His gaze swept across the horizon, as if challenging the very essence of the planet.
"Who do you think we are?" he continued, his voice rising in intensity.
"We are not some measly weaklings to be trifled with by another planet."
"Our sect is one of the powerhouses of our realm, and we stand here today because of the strength we've forged through relentless cultivation"
"Fo you truly think anyone could trample over that?"
In a collective surge of determination, all the visitors replied in unison, their voices echoing with affirmation, "No, Senior!"
The air crackled with energy, a fierce resolve igniting as they prepared to assert their dominance over this uncharted territory.
"If all of you understand what I'm trying to say then quit wasting my time asking questions that are unnecessary" The senior said.
"Let's just find the most powerful organization and destroy them. That will reduce our time of killing and conquering" The senior declared.
"Understood senior!" All of them said simultaneously.
"Let me try to search" The senior said.
As the senior closed his eyes and began focusing his senses and energy to find the most powerful group or being, his consciousness of energy traveled through the world.
Island after island, country after country and continents after continents his consciousness travellrf far and through every corner of the Earth.
"Hmm, it's strange that despite the high quality spiritual energy, there's not a single person worth mentioning or require our attention" The senior said.
He couldn't find any worthy group or beings that he was worried about, however, as he searched deeper and deeper, he discover a singular being.
He saw a person however, the aura that the person had was strange.
'This is weird...why can't I inspect his strength?' The senior questioned while he tries to use more of his strength to inspect.
But the moment he implied more strength, something terrifying happened.
Usually, whenever the senior tries to inspect the strength of his target, it would go unnoticed.
To add on, with his current strength, there's not a single person that could detect his inspection.
However, this time the target that he had locked on was not a normal target.
It was Daniel himself he had targeted.
The moment the senior tries to inspect more, Daniel turned his back and gazed back at his consciousness.
"What the hell!" The senior screamed.
After all, what he had saw was out from this world.
He didn't know how to describe it but what he saw wasn't a human, but a monster in a human shell.
Daniel had used his aura against him and the senior almost died from it.
"What the hell was that!" The senior screamed as he pulled back his consciousness.
However, because of Daniel overwhelming aura, the senior coughed up blood and his eyes turned red.
"Senior what's wrong!?" The rest of the group became concerned after they had seen the senior coughing up blood.
"W-We need to escape from this planet right now!" He declared with a face full of fear.
His body was shaking and he was losing his mind.
"Senior what's wrong?" All of them couldn't help but wonder why the senior had changed his mind.
"I was wrong! T-This planet is not weak! T-There's a monster guarding this planet! His strength is not what we can face!" The senior explained.
"But senior, with our numbers here, we shouldn't be afraid of a single monster"
"Moreover, we have conquered countless planets despite them possessing powers far beyond what we can handle. I'm sure this time is the same"
"No! You all don't understand! His not just some monster! H-He's someone on the same calibre as the leader of the Alliance! Quick we need to escape, he has noticed my location!"
All of them were speechless upon hearing his words. The person whom he had mention 'leader of alliance' was someone abnormal.
He possessed strength that were odd yet strong and he hadn't been defeated since he was born.
Hence, for the senior to claim those words means he wasn't joking at all.
"Alright senior, but it'll take a while to return since the cooldown for the Portal hasn't been fulfilled yet.
"Shit! It will be too late by then!" The senior was panicking and shivering.
"I was wondering just who was trying to invade my privacy, but it was you guys"
All of the sudden, Daniel had appeared from their back with a smile.
A strange portal appeared behind them and although there were countless ways Daniel could approached, he chose a portal.
He wasn't in a rush after all.
"Why is your 'kind' in this planet?" Daniel questioned with a smile that wasn't a smile.
"W-We're just passing by since we noticed this planet has just evolved" The senior answered in the most respectful manner he could.
"Passing by...? Even thouch I could sense your killing intent from miles away, you're telling me that all of you are just passing by?" Daniel questioned.
"Hey you!" All of the sudden, one of them approached Daniel with frustration.
"Who are you to talk to our senior like that!?" He asked with a not so friendly tone.
"You think just because our senior is talking to you politely you could be rude towards him?" He went nearer towards Daniel while he pointed his finger towards him.
"Rude? I wonder who was the rude one" Daniel replied sarcastically as he shrugged off his shoulders.
"Y-You! You're courting death!" His face became red and he was full of anger.
Without any warning, he rushed towards Daniel as he unsheathed his sword and slashed.
He was hoping that his attack could either heavily injure or kill him, and he believe that by doing that he would earn praises.
But he was wrong.
"Don't!" The senior tried to stop his fellow friend, but it was too late.
Before his sword could even reach Daniel, a bizzare phenomenon happened.
All Daniel did was to raise his finger upwards and he manifested a small pure orb of mana.
However, the mana has been infested with his Void Emptiness Physique and it became purplish dark.
It contained the force of void, capable of devouring and annihilating every single existence in its path.
As soon as his sword touches the dark orb, his sword disintegrated into absolute nothingness or even emptiness.
Nonetheless, it wasn't only the sword that had turned into emptiness.
Even the one who held the sword had returned to the void and he couldn't even react.
He didn't even realize how he had died.
And now, the rest of the group and even the senior couldn't help but regret that they had set a foot in this world.
Moreover, the senior was convinced that he was wrong.
'N-No! H-He's not the calibre of our Alliance Leader! He's not even within our realm! T-This isn't even a mortal! He's a *******'
