As I grew older, life got a lot more interesting. When Kaguya had had enough of me, we sent her to her grandmother and it was Azula's turn.

Thirteen years of abstinence, that's a lot. We didn't come back for Kaguya until two weeks later, which is saying a lot, though Azula still gave me meaningful looks. I wondered if my relationship with her was incestuous.

Then I wondered if it was cheating because I had changed physiologically? In general, I thought about a lot of things, which made my brain go blue* and I gave up on this case, just exhausted.

The days began to fly by with great speed and added up to months. I don't show my face much in public, and now I've stopped. It was Azula, together with Kaguya, who went out instead.

«I understand», I nodded, Kaguya looked at me timidly with a hopeful expression in her eyes and Azula looked at me incomprehensively, «We can't keep you here forever, even though we really want to», I smiled, «But we love you very much and we worry about you.»

«I understand», she grimaced a little.

«When do you want to leave?» I asked calmly.

«I don't know», she mumbled embarrassed. But then she looked at me shyly, «So you'll let me go?»

«Sure», I nodded calmly and took Azula's hand.

I hugged her and pulled her close to me. I pulled Azula to me as well and hugged her.

«We love you and we'll always wait for you», I kissed the top of her head, «Just remember, you can always come back here, back home, where you'll always be welcome.»

«I love you», she said with a smile, wiping away her tears with her sleeve.

That was a strange thing to say. Even though Kaguya was a bit more mature, she did pretty much the same thing I did when I mastered water magic. To be honest, I didn't want to let her go, but I couldn't keep her with me all the time. But the hardest part was explaining to Azula why I had to let her go.

She knew that sooner or later she would fly away from our nest, but she was hoping for the second option and wanted to delay it as long as possible.
