Chapter 64 -63: Why so sudden?!
Having reached the mountains and making sure there were no other people around, Mianmian stopped in her tracks.
“Shall we fly too?”
Upon hearing this, Su Chenfei was utterly shocked, “What? Fly too?”
Mianmian nodded, “Yes, little sparrows fly really fast, so this pace is too slow for us.”
The Chu father and son didn’t speak; they just looked at Mianmian.
Under the gaze of three pairs of eyes, Mianmian took out a sword from her small bag, almost the same size as her little palm.
The blade shimmered with radiant light and looked extremely beautiful under the sun.
Mianmian muttered the spell, and the Flying Sword instantly grew larger and larger until it was big enough to accommodate three adults before it stopped.
Su Chenfei was flabbergasted! Did Little Auntie actually possess a mode of transportation for cultivators that one only finds in novels?
Everyone had previously speculated about how Little Auntie had arrived at their home, guessing maybe there was something like a Teleportation Array. Now it seems Little Auntie might have actually flown to their place, right?
Su Chenfei’s expression of astonishment was exaggerated, but the Chu father and son only had a slight change in their pupils, appearing very calm.
So Su Chenfei, feeling embarrassed to be gaping, coughed twice pretending to be composed, “Hmm, my Little Auntie is indeed so capable, hahahaha. Later when we get on it, you guys better not scream. At any rate, I won’t scream.”
Mianmian tilted her head, “Really, Seventh Grandchild? You’re that brave?”
Encouraged by Mianmian’s words, Su Chenfei puffed out his chest, “Of course, your Seventh Grandchild here didn’t even utter a sound when hanging off the edge of a cliff.”
He referred to the time when he was filming his first movie, during a scene where he had to jump off a cliff.
“What does hanging mean?” Curious, Mianmian asked, then quickly urged them to get on the Flying Sword, “Hurry up and get on, Mianmian is going to slap on some Immobilization Talismans and Sticky Talismans, so you guys stick to the Flying Sword, otherwise you’ll fall and turn into meat pancakes.”
As she spoke, the little sparrow was perched atop her head, tiny eyes curiously observing the humans.
Chu Ye and Chu Qi were the first to get on the Flying Sword and sit down.
Excitement flickered in the eyes of the father and son duo as they stepped on and were immediately slapped with two Talisman Spells. Last to board was Su Chenfei, who kept explaining, “Hanging is when someone is suspended by a rope and flies around in mid-air; it’s very difficult, not something just anyone can do.”
By this time, Mianmian had slapped Talisman Spells on all three passengers and was making the final check, “Try and see if you can lift your feet off the Flying Sword now.”
Chu Ye tried to lift his foot and really felt unable to move. He responded to Mianmian, “Hmm.”
Mianmian was satisfied only then and stuck a Concealment Talisman on each person, “Now no one can see us anymore, only those who’ve got a Concealment Talisman can see each other. Little Ma, just lead the way, don’t be scared.”
The little sparrow that was flying about in place, upon hearing Mianmian’s voice, called out reassuringly, “Tweet tweet!!”
The Flying Sword, carrying two adults and two children, rose steadily from the forest.
Little Ma tweeted all along the way, attracting more little sparrows and other birds from the forest, including birds with dazzling feathers, leaving Su Chenfei amazed, “Little Auntie, do these birds all listen to you?”
Mianmian replied, “Not really, they are Little Ma’s friends. Little Ma is afraid it’ll get lost, so it asked its friends to help out.”
In the mountains, birds are naturally foraging, but they also have their own network of information. Now the various small birds were discussing amongst themselves, one saying, “That bald one walked this way,” another confirming, “Yes, that’s right, definitely this way.”
After the discussions, and once the direction was thoroughly confirmed, the flock of birds suddenly sped up.
Seeing the birds flying much faster, Su Chenfei curiously asked, “Little Auntie, why are they suddenly flying so fast aaahhhh?!”
Although he couldn’t move his body as it stuck to the Flying Sword, his mouth was still able to open and catch the wind.
Su Chenfei’s voice was a mix of misery and panic.
Mianmian, who had just accelerated the Flying Sword, turned around puzzledly looking at Su Chenfei, “What’s wrong, Seventh Grandchild? Why are you suddenly screaming?”
She imitated Su Chenfei’s tone perfectly with her trailing screams.
Chu Qi couldn’t help but show the amusement in his eyes, almost dying of laughter because of Su Chenfei’s antics. Chu Ye, with his icy composure that was thirty years lesser than Chu Qi’s, couldn’t hold back and chuckled aloud.
Su Chenfei was oblivious to Chu Ye laughing at him, feeling as if his whole body was falling apart.
Why was it so fast? It was far more terrifying than being suspended off a cliff! The sensation of weightlessness was amplified, feeling as though he would slide off the Flying Sword any second.
As tears induced by the wind streamed down Su Chenfei’s face, Mianmian further accelerated.
Only when the birds announced their arrival did Mianmian find a relatively flat spot to bring the Flying Sword down.
She waited a while before removing the talismans from her nephew and the Chu father and son, cautious they hadn’t yet adjusted.

As soon as the Talisman Paper was collected back, Su Chenfei retched with a “yue” sound, his face portraying discomfort.
While throwing up, Su Chenfei noticed Chu Qi and Chu Ye appeared entirely unaffected, which only made him feel more miserable.
Were the father and son duo too tough?
Mianmian, seeing her Seventh Grandchild in such distress, took out anti-nausea pills and asked, puzzled, “Seventh Grandchild, didn’t you say you were fine? Why are you vomiting like this? And what about those screams earlier?”
Su Chenfei, trying to salvage his dignity, said earnestly, “It’s because I had the air conditioning on too cold last night, so I’m feeling a bit off.”
Immediately, Mianmian reached to check Su Chenfei’s pulse, her head tilted, and even more doubt in her dark grape-like eyes.
“But your pulse seems normal.”
Su Chenfei, for the first time, felt that having an auntie with too many skills was not such a good thing, like now, when he couldn’t even save his own face.
“Is Li Yang here?”
In the midst of Su Chenfei’s pitiful state, Chu Ye’s questioning voice arose.
Once she heard him, Mianmian’s attention shifted from Su Chenfei and she replied, “Yes, right up ahead. The birds say this is Erniang Mountain. I guess that old grandma’s child is here too. We could go ahead with the Concealment Talismans and get close.”
“We can’t speak once we’ve attached the Concealment Talisman; everyone be careful.”
After setting the plan, Mianmian turned back to the Seventh Grandchild, “If you’re not feeling well, Seventh Grandchild, you can wait for us here.”
“No, I’m fine now,” Su Chenfei steadied his voice.
He couldn’t afford not to follow Mianmian on such a dangerous mission; if he stayed behind, he would be facing a mixed seven beatdown back home.
While they were talking, Chu Qi had already affixed a small disc to a tree from his pocket. It was a signal receptor, and the police could use it to locate the place.
Leaving it behind was a fail-safe, in case there were too many enemies and they were outgunned.
The group followed the flying birds to a cave entrance.
A man was guarding the entrance, yawning.
Chu Qi walked over and punched the man in the head, knocking him out cold.
Mianmian quickly took out a rope from her small bag, “Hide this bad guy with a Concealment Talisman and leave him here!”
