"She got two levels while I only got one? Damn, I feel like she got a much better deal out of this," Tianming said. It wasn't surprising, however, considering that he had eight streams of order while she only had one. "Hmm...." Tianming didn't talk about that too much, though, as Suishen Yao emerged after her breakthrough.

The moment she saw him, she remembered how sore her waist was. "Don't come any closer!"

"You're weak," Tianming mocked.

"Just you wait! I'll show you!" she snapped.

"Come, let's go meet your mother," Jiguang said with a gentle smile.

Tianming felt a chill down his spine. This time around, his mother-in-law was no longer in name only. Suishen Xiyue had been outside the Blissful Union, staring at the stareye the entire time.

When Tianming left the ship, he saw Suishen Shuang and Suishen Zhao standing together. Suishen Zhao gave him a worshipful look and shot him a thumbs-up.

"You did the impossible! You tamed my sister!" He couldn't be more impressed.

Some distance away, Suishen Xiyue turned back and smiled. Tianming met her gaze, which seemed to say, There's no way I'll let you escape from my grasp. I'm your mother-in-law. Her one kick had been all that was needed to seal the deal.

"What a merciless person...." Tianming was truly convinced of her ability. He had no choice but to talk to her in detail about what would happen over the next decade, or at least the details concerning Myriadpath Valley at any rate.
