Chapter 207: What Do You Want?

Sawyer frowned, finding it hard to believe that Angela, his half-sister, knew where he lived after he had made such an effort to conceal this address.

’She is stalking the guests who visited here? Who could she have followed?’ he wondered.

"When the guard threatened to call the police, she still insisted—" Paul paused, hesitating to continue.

"What is it?" Sawyer asked as they entered the CCTV room, with Paul closely following him.

A few guards stood up from their seats, letting Sawyer approach the wall lined with flat-screen televisions. Various CCTV feeds were displayed on the screens, and Sawyer’s eyes were fixed on the woman at the front gate.

"Miss Angela threatened that if she didn’t meet you, she would call Mr. Harvey Jones or your mother, Ms. Morgan, and ask them to come to this house as well."

Sawyer suddenly felt a throbbing pain in his head. He cursed his sister inwardly while trying to piece everything together.

’How could she know about this place? Who told her?’

His mind filled with countless questions as he fixed his gaze on the monitor, watching the impatient Angela argue with the guard.

Sawyer recalled that their conversations never exceeded ten words. However, she had changed during their last meeting on their grandmother’s birthday. She suddenly spoke to him at length, and he suspected she had something or some favor to ask. But after that day, she had never contacted him again.

Now, here she was, appearing right outside his secret house.

’Why is she coming here? Why does she want to talk to me and insist on trespassing on my property?’

Sawyer pinched his temple, thinking hard about what to do next.

He considered ignoring her and returning to the backyard.

Still, he knew his sister, Angela, well enough to understand how relentless she was—that she would never give up on something she had her eyes on. Moreover, knowing how Angela was, if she said this was his house, she must’ve been triple-cross-checking it, and only then was she very confident about it.

’Damn it, Angela! I can’t avoid you now. But if I let you inside, you’ll learn about my wedding with Abby!’

"Sir, what should we do?" Paul’s question jolted Sawyer back to reality.

After taking another deep breath, Sawyer responded, "Bring her to my study on the first floor. Just make sure she doesn’t encounter anyone else or wander around the house!" he instructed before leaving the room and heading to his office.

Standing by the glass window overlooking the front yard, Sawyer’s mind was still busy guessing how Angela knew about his house.

He worried that Angela had someone better than Ethan to track his address. And it would be troublesome if she had a good hacker in her team.

Curious, Sawyer immediately texted Stefan, who was still in the backyard with the rest of his friends and family.

"Stefan, I need you to check. Did someone hack your data?"

Stefan’s reply appeared in his inbox less than a minute later: "Boss, impossible. I just checked, and no one tried to mess with me. What happened? Why do you think that?"

Sawyer didn’t answer. His gaze returned to looking out the window, and his mind again wondered how his sister could have known. And what did she want, forcing herself to meet him now?

Before he returned to the seating area, another text from Stefan came in:

"Boss, did something bad happen? Do you want me to return to check my computer?"

"No need! Pretend nothing happened and enjoy lunch with the others."

Sawyer didn’t want the others to grow curious about what was happening here. He needed them to stay in the backyard.

Sawyer took a deep breath and placed his cell phone in his suit pocket.

Not long after, he heard a knock at the door.

He looked toward the door and returned to the sitting area before responding, "Come in!"

"Oh, little brother..." Angela’s cheerful voice echoed in the room as she entered, her eyes shining as she looked at Sawyer. "You finally let me in after keeping me outside for twenty minutes. You’re so mean, Sawyer Jones."

Sawyer brushed off her complaints, casually gesturing for her to sit across from him.

"Go ahead and sit down," he said.

Angela glanced at him with annoyance but decided to sit opposite him. To her surprise, he was wearing a suit. She had never seen him dressed so formally before; he usually wore only a black shirt and pants with sneakers, even at family events.

"Are you going to a wedding party?" she asked, narrowing her eyes at him.

Sawyer was taken aback by Angela’s question but tried to mask his surprise.

"Sister, if you came here just to talk about unimportant things, you can leave—and never return to this place again. You are not welcome here," he replied curtly. He didn’t have time to entertain her now; he needed to get back to his wife in the backyard.

Instead of being offended, Angela laughed at Sawyer’s harsh words. Once her laughter subsided, she said, "Oh my God, Sawyer Jones, I’m confused about why you hate me as much as you hate Harvey."

"What do you want?" Sawyer asked expressionlessly, not wanting to discuss their older brother. "Why are you assuming this is my house?"

For the first time since entering the room, Angela let out a deep sigh, and her expression turned serious; there was no longer a playful glint in her eyes as she looked at her little brother.

"I need your help, Sawyer—"

Sawyer was taken aback by her words. He didn’t expect his sister, who rarely spoke to him, to ask for help suddenly.

"Are you sure you’re asking the right person for help? You probably came to the wrong place, sis. Why didn’t you go to big bro instead of me!?" he asked, raising his eyebrow in confusion.

"No, I’m sure I came to the right person. Please help me to arrange a meeting with Andy Bennet. There’s something important I need to discuss with him," Angela pleaded, shocking Sawyer even more.

’What on earth is this? Why did she ask me about it?’ Sawyer was speechless when he heard his sister’s request for him to arrange a meeting with Andy.

"You mean Andy Bennet, the CEO of Silverstone Group!?"
