While Rita complained about her phone not working anymore, Elayne suddenly came out with a genius idea that made everyone look towards her direction.

"Wait…" Elayne suddenly got an amazing idea. "What if we use Potential Cubes into the phones? Like how Mark's car became an amazing, invisible flying vehicle, we could do something similar with phones right?"

"C-Could that work, mom?" Elena wondered. "I know you used it on Mark's car, but I don't know… A phone is way more complex, right?"

"I mean, yeah, I think so?" Anna wondered. "But the cubes are super weird too, I never imagined these items everyone farms to improve their equipment with random Gacha-like potential mechanics actually could be used to turn ordinary items into magical weapons with skills and stuff…"

"And then that you can further upgrade them and all of that!" Monica nodded. "It's really amazing how the in-game items can translate to real life objects and stuff… Also have someone noticed that our Soul-Bound Skills aren't as restricted as in BNLO? Like things like cooldown or timers don't apply that much… It's weird."

"Oh yeah, that…" Elisa nodded. "I have felt the same thing, by using more Mana you can bypass things such as cooldowns or even go further than what a skill specifies regarding stat boosts and the like."

"Maybe the whole potential cube thing works around that as well," Elayne explained. "It's a magical power from another world that works with game-like mechanics but because the System isn't present here, it cannot simply limit things, and the power that it would apply as a simple potential ends up leaking, reaching the entire object and infusing itself into it easily, giving it random traits, the potential, that defines the magic item's abilities. Most of the time these traits are probably automatically generated too."

"So in a way it is the system but not the system at the same time?" Elena wondered. "It's… kind of confusing, I don't get it…"

"Y-Yeah, I suppose I didn't make myself too clear," Elayne sighed. "But well, like Mark's amazing car, we could do something similar with phones, probably."

"Oh right my car! Maybe it would've been useful in here… Dammit, I should've brought it along," Mark sighed, feeling like he had wasted a perfect opportunity to make his car feel more useful. "Maybe if I had asked you to store it inside your Inventory… Ah, it's too late anyway."

"Ah well, don't worry too much about it, we still got the flying broom stored in here!" Elayne giggled. "Anyway, what do you think of my idea?"

"I think it is pretty wild, we don't even know if it'll work or end up breaking our phones," Said Jenny. "Also we wouldn't know that even if infused with magic power would the phone keep its functions safely, it's a gamble… kind of."

"I-I guess you're not wrong… That's why we would need a volunteer…" Elayne said, she didn't want to risk her phone either.

"Come on Jenny don't be like that; mom can easily do something so simple!" Elena said.

"Yeah!" Gabriel nodded while stuffing himself with fried rice. "Big sis can do it! …Wait, what are we talking about?"

"Sounds nice! Do it! Anything for my phone!" Rita screamed, handling her phone to Elayne. "Take it! Experiment with it, I don't care!"

Rita was incredibly desperate, she was someone born in the generation where children were given phones since birth, so she had a very weirdly strong bond with her phones.

Elayne was thankful she and her husband didn't raise Elena with a phone in her tiny hands. Elena only got a smartphone recently when she reached the age of 14 and only had older phones for calls or for calling her parents in emergencies.

Of course, that meant that she liked console games more than mobile games since she grew up with them, a rather rare occurrence nowadays.

As for Elayne, she was raised on a farm, so she naturally grew up similarly to Elena, but without any luxuries such as computer or video games.

"A-Ahaha, alright… Calm down Rita." Elayne giggled, taking out a Potential Cube from her Inventory. "Let's see… I'll use the lowest grade Potential Cube I have. So it has the least amount of magic power and the less risks."

Elayne's lowest grade Potential Cube at the moment were the B Rank [Greater Potential Cubes] which were of a black color, with many blue circuits around their bodies.

Their colors varied and usually depended on what grade they were, and how many bonuses they could apply to a weapon or armor.

Holding the cube, she pushed it towards Rita's phone…

Back then she didn't need to use more than just this to create a magic weapon or piece of clothes, but this time she imbued a bit of her Mana, carrying her emotions and her intents with this potential cube.

The Potential Cube slowly melded into the phone, disappearing and making the phone glow brightly, gaining countless blue circuits and beginning to shake and release sparks of electricity!

Rita quickly looked at her phone, about to have a heart attack as she tried to start it up as usual, pressing the button and…

As Rita prayed to any god that could answer her prayers, the phone glowed brightly, and then it started.

It was working as usual now!

"I-It works?! YOOOO!"

Rita celebrated, raising her arms and the phone, but Elayne quickly had to catch the phone before it were to fall off due to Rita's clumsiness.

"B-Be careful Rita, it almost fell!" Elayne reprimanded her.

"A-Ahhaha, sorry, sorry! But it worked, right?!" Rita checked her phone; everything was in place. "Amazing! I can now take photos here and- Woah they look so good and in HD! A-Also all the cracks in the screen disappeared?! And it has these really nice-looking blue circuits all over."

"Y-Yeah, I'm glad it worked… Does it have anything different or…? Hm?"
