Second after second, the ambush that should have taken but a few seconds with Draco's intervention was going towards doing exactly that.

Starting with the first kill of the greater celestial, Ash took his turn to finish off his opponent in but a single strike, and then Draco killed the remaining true celestials.

The only ones left at the moment were Angodi and the other high celestials.

And these high celestials were already in no mood to fight.

Angodi was a special case, after all, he was way too engrossed in his battle with Wine to care about anything else.

And thus, it quickly went from a one-to-one battle to a group-to-one battle.

[Path of No Return]

The first to stat was scholar. He went on to use one spell that was part of a large collection, and just that was more than enough to get rid of his opponent.

Seeing this, Devania decided that she would take care of her opponent and go sit alongside Draco to watch the unfolding battle.

[HeartShot]

[Life Obstruction]

[Drown in Darkness]

[Live to Die, Die to Live]

And in no time…

Angodi was the only anti-celestial still breathing, and from the looks of it, he wasn't dying anytime soon.

"Who's going to attack that bastard aside from Ash?" Destruction asked.

"You go, nobody else wants to from the looks of it." Devania replied as she teleported herself next to Draco.

The others also nodded and went, thus, aside from Ash and Wine, the only other one to attack Angodi was Destruction.

And thus, the final battle began.

On the side where the duo was fighting, the countless mini-Angodis that were growing without a single one of them dying yet saw the coming Ash and, without hesitation, separated into two groups.

One went towards Wine as usual, and the other followed the hostile aura.

[Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust]

Once again, with the same skill he killed the high celestial, Ash transformed into a fog of death that had encompassed all the coming minions to get rid of them all at once.

"Kekekekekekekek."

"Kekekek."

"KEKEKEKEKEKEK!"

The voices could be heard even within the storm of no return, and they had no intention of disappearing.

This indestructibleness was worrisome, and it made Ash and Wine start worrying about themselves, especially when they had finally noticed that the numbers were increasing every single minute.

"A clown, indeed." Draco smiled.

"Hmm?" Seeing Draco react this way made Devania turn to look at him strangely.

"Where are Alexander and Leona?" Before Devania could ask what she wanted, Scholar asked.

"They said they have other things to do." Draco replied.

"Hey." Devania finally spoke.

"Did you notice something?" She asked.

"Hmm? Did I?" Draco replied.

"… Always with your mysterious front." She shook her head.

"When does a clown die?" Draco suddenly asked.

"Huh?" Devania was confused by the sudden question, but Draco didn't say anything else.

"When?" She asked.

"When his jokes aren't funny anymore." Draco finally replied and looked in front of him.

"…" Devania squinted her eyes and looked forward.

What did that mean exactly?

What did it mean? Draco knew, Zero also knew, but nobody else did.

Devania was thinking to herself that maybe this had something to do with the battle, Angodi, or maybe his authority, but she couldn't be sure as she didn't have enough evidence.

Or did she?

"I see." She nodded.

"I do too." Draco nodded.

Many things were in play, and it was a battle of silence. Thoughts were a battle of their own, and theories were the way these battles were fought, the one whose theory is right wins, and the faster it is validated, the better.

In this case, Draco had some theories of his own, and he used Angodi to get closer to this, and from the looks of it, he was getting closer to the truth.

But him being right or wrong meant little in this case.

"ANGODI!!!" On the far front of the battlefield, Destruction had finally arrived at the location, and from the looks of it, Ash wasn't the one who hated this clone to death.

Wine was getting attacked from all sides, Ash's spell was useless to no end, but Destruction wasn't planning on having the same fate as these two.

They seemed as if they wanted to take their time in this battle and slowly but surely try to kill Angodi, but his hate for this fucker was drowned so deep that when it came out…

It exploded!

[Oh Great Fire of Destruction, I, As Your Master Requests You To Heed My Call!]

On both hands, dark flames of destruction appeared. His rush was getting faster and faster, and he would reach the army of minions in but a few milliseconds, yet this time that was so little seemed so long.

Why was it that he had to remain silent when his world was under the constant oppression of these bastards?

Why was it that he ad to remain on the sidelines when a younglin was so brave to get out of their own world and allow them, the seniors who had been here since time immemorial, to finally make their own moves?

Why was it… that with his own burning efforts that had allowed him to reach the peak of his world, he had to remain silent until now?

Draco looked at this, and his expression turned slightly cold.

Just from a few of Destruction's actions, he could guess what was going on in his head, and he understood…

He understood that this was nothing but the agony of the weak.

He knew that this would have been him had he not taken many of the paths he had taken, this would have been had he not had what he was in possession of him.

And this would have been him… Had he not known that burning efforts meant nothing when you hesitate to take appropriate measures in demanding situations.
