Over at the Yukinoshita household, Yukinoshita Haruno was reading the chat's messages and feeling it was all too surreal.

An apocalyptic setting in another world, these Cursed Children and their suffering...it was infuriating enough.

But now Rei Ao was talking about destroying the world? For real?

It wasn't that she didn't believe him; it simply didn't feel real at all. More like hearing a fictional story.

Just then, Yukino's bedroom door opened. She emerged, taking small, careful steps. That instantly drew the attention of both her mother and Haruno.

Seeing how she walked gave them complicated feelings. Clearly, Yukino had been thoroughly ravaged by Rei Ao.

Haruno's eyes brimmed with hurt. Yukino was her treasured little sister, yet someone else had so thoroughly "plowed her field," so to speak—just imagining it made her furious.

She looked as if she had seen someone who wasn't supposed to be there. Most alarming, she seemed to see extra silhouettes reflected.

Kisara's eyes turned cold, brimming with anger. She barked, "Hey! Who gave you permission to barge into my place? Are you trying to break the law and peep on me? Get out, now!"

Assuming it was Rentarou, she clung to her raging fury. If she'd had her sword on hand, she might have swung it already. But then:

A voice from behind answered, "Seems like our timing's off."

Kisara froze. That was a woman's voice? And... "our?" More than one person?

Next, another voice—this time a man's. "Why's it off? I think the timing's great—fantastic view, plenty of perks."

"!!!"

Kisara felt a gaze that practically treated her body like some show to be watched, making her skin crawl all over. "Are you a pervert?! You disgusting creep, get out of here!"

She spun around, spurred on by Emilia's words. Her eyes blazed red with fury and lethal intent.

She finally saw a pair of strangers: one man and one woman. The woman had a heroic look, the man was handsome yet kept openly staring at her with no shame.

Two unknown people had forced their way into her home—into the bathroom, no less, where she was in the middle of a shower—and she hadn't sensed a thing.

She quickly shielded Enju behind her, feeling a grave sense of danger well up in her chest.
