Chapter 67: Creed Vs Lilith and Tierra! (2)

A deafening crack of thunder shook the training room as Creed activated Primordial Link.

Boom!

Instantly, purple lightning exploded from his body, coiling around him like a living storm, crackling and roaring with untamed power.

His aura surged violently, and his spear began to hum as he infused it with both Stage 1 Lightning Intent and Stage 1 Spear Intent, the weapon becoming an extension of his will.

A terrifying pressure filled the room, and for the first time in the battle, Creed’s power had reached its absolute peak.

His strength skyrocketed straight to the pinnacle of Stage 2!

Tierra’s sharp grey eyes gleamed with excitement. Without hesitation, she teleported.

Creed’s body tensed as Tierra vanished and reappeared beside him, her dagger already slashing toward his ribs.

Clang!

He barely deflected the strike. Before he could counter, she disappeared again.

Then, another attack from behind!

Creed spun and blocked, his spear clashing against her dagger. But Tierra was relentless.

She blinked around him repeatedly; left, right, behind, above, each time launching a precise and deadly attack!

Creed blocked the first three strikes, his spear moving with blinding speed, but as she kept teleporting and bombarding him from every possible angle, he felt himself getting overwhelmed.

His mind screamed: teleport!

With a small burst of space energy, Creed vanished, appearing meters away, only for Tierra to instantly chase after him, her teleportation just as fast!

The moment he reappeared, she was already there, dagger flashing toward his neck!

"Damn it—!"

Creed’s instincts flared, and he did the only thing he could; he unleashed his lightning.

Purple lightning erupted violently around him in a wild, uncontrolled burst, crackling in every direction.

The sheer force of the discharge forced Tierra to teleport away instantly, or risk getting electrocuted.

But just as he caught his breath, Lilith appeared at his side!

Sickle already swinging.

Creed’s mind sharpened like a blade. He reacted in an instant.

Before her attack could land, he teleported behind her, his spear already surging with deadly intent.

Pierce!

His spear snapped forward with monstrous force, the air screaming as it tore toward Lilith’s back.

It was a simple thrust, but one carrying terrifying power!

Lilith barely had time to turn, her sickle snapping up to block just in time. Still...

BOOM!

Even with her defense, she was flung backward like a cannonball, crashing against the reinforced walls of the training room.

The sheer impact charred the surface, purple lightning still crawling across her armor.

But before Creed could follow up, his instincts screamed.

Danger!

He teleported instantly. ƒreeωebnovel.ƈom

SHNK!

A stiletto stabbed through the air where he had just been standing!

But no sooner had he reappeared, his danger sense flared again.

He tried to teleport again, but the space around him suddenly twisted. A cold sensation ran through him.

Stage 1 Space Intent erupted around his surroundings!

Tierra had locked down space itself using her superior space Intent, which meant his ability to teleport in that area was sealed!

Then, two cracks split open in the air, one right before his chest... and the other...

Right at his crotch!

His eyes widened in horror.

Swoosh! Swoosh!

Two stilettos shot out like bullets, aimed to impale him from both directions. And at the same time, Tierra appeared at his side, dagger flashing toward his ribs!

It was an absolute death trap. But Creed had already seen it coming.

His fist clenched as purple lightning coalesced into a crackling orb in his palm.

Thunderclap Orb!

He thrust his hand out and the orb shot out of his palms. The orb slammed into Tierra’s stomach the next moment and exploded.

BOOOOOM!

The explosion rocked the entire room. Tierra was flung backward mid-air, her body crackling violently with electricity.

She spasmed as lightning coursed through her nerves, her body going limp. She had no chance to recover.

Creed launched another orb straight at her before she even landed just to make sure she was truly down.

"Boom."

BOOOOOM!

The second explosion engulfed her, sending her spiraling through the air like a ragdoll, completely electrocuted and unconscious.

She hit the ground hard. Creed didn’t even look. All this happened in less than a second.

His focus snapped back to the two stilettos still flying toward him!

His muscles screamed; no time!

The third pounce of Triple Pounce activated!

BOOM!

A final explosion of speed surged through his legs, sending him rocketing forward in a blur. The stilettos sliced past his back, missing by mere inches.

He speed was so tremendous at the third pound that it was well into stage 3!

But he didn’t stop.

He shot forward with this insane speed, instantly appearing in front of Lilith, who was just pushing herself up after the last attack.

Her violet eyes widened.

Creed thrust!

Lilith growled.

Her Stage 2 Lightning Intent surged violently, her entire body crackling with a raging storm.

She tried to dodge the strike, but she was too slow and too late.

Pierce!

Creed’s spear slammed into her with monstrous force, the attack carrying all the power of his peak Stage 2 physique and the refined deadliness of his partial Stage 1 technique!

Even as Lilith swung with all her might, it wasn’t enough.

BOOOOM!

She was blasted away, crashing to the ground with a violent thud. But Creed didn’t stop.

He pounced again, his spear tip pressing against her chest before she could even move.

The room fell into silence. Lilith stared up at him, breathing heavily, her body still sparking with residual lightning.

Creed smirked.

"Dead."

Victory.

He had won!

Creed stood amidst the aftermath of his sparring session, his breath steady despite the intensity of the battle.

His spear hummed lightly in his grip, purple lightning flickering along its shaft before dissipating into nothingness.

A deep sense of satisfaction swelled within him as he flexed his fingers, feeling the raw power coursing through his veins.

He had come so far. Just a month ago, he had been nothing but an unawakened weakling, a mere bystander in a world dominated by monsters, warriors, and powerful awakened individuals.

Now, he was a fighter whose strength could rival those far above his stage. It was almost unbelievable!

His strength wasn’t just a product of luck or hard work, it was a result of three defining factors.

First was his physique, which had already exceeded the boundaries of a Stage 1 and stepped firmly into Stage 2, allowing him to push his body beyond its natural limits.

No ordinary awakened at his level could match the sheer physical power he wielded.

Second was his ability to use multiple talents, something that should have been impossible. Summoning, lightning and space—all at once!

Most awakened only had one talent, but Creed had access to many, and that versatility made him an absolute menace in battle.

And finally, his comprehension ability.

Whether it was battle techniques, combat experience, or even elemental Intent, he absorbed them and mastered it at an unnatural speed.

Most awakened took weeks, months, even years, to understand Intent and advance their combat styles, yet Creed had already reached partial mastery of three techniques and touched upon quite a few Sources and Intents!

And the source of all these advantages? The System.

Everything; his talent, his abilities, his comprehension, and even the power he was rapidly accumulating came from the Primordial Dominion System.

It was terrifying when he thought about it.

If the system could elevate him from an unawakened nobody to a peak Stage 2 powerhouse in just a month, what would he become in a year?

Or two? The thought made his pulse race with anticipation.

But even as the thrill of his growth filled him, he knew it still wasn’t enough. Not even close.

At most, with everything he had, he could guarantee his survival against a Stage 3 beast.

He might be able to hold his own, defend, and escape if necessary, but actually killing one? Impossible.

And when he thought about that Stage 5 monkey...

Creed’s fingers tightened around his spear. That beast was in a whole different dimension.

Even with all his current strength, it wasn’t just a gap between them, it was an ocean.

He wouldn’t even be able to wound that monster, let alone fight it. If that thing showed up in front of him again, he would have no choice but to run for his life.

"Tch. Not enough."

The words slipped from his mouth before he could stop them. He exhaled slowly, forcing himself to relax.

His growth was monstrous, yes, but not fast enough. He needed to get stronger—much stronger.

That was why tomorrow’s unexplored rift expedition was so crucial. It wasn’t just a chance to gain resources, it was his opportunity to skyrocket his strength once again!

But his needs weren’t simple. It wasn’t just about leveling up his stats. He needed a ridiculous amount of Primordial Essence.

To truly maximize his strength, he had to complete his comprehension of several key elements; Stage 2 Spear Intent, Stage 2 Lightning Intent, and his Stage 2 Force and Aura.

And then there was his interest in Stage 1 Space Intent, which Tierra had been demonstrating in battle.

If he could learn how to manipulate space like she did, his combat potential would increase dramatically.

But the problem? It cost 20 Primordial Essence for every Stage 2 comprehension!

The number made him feel a bit sick. For a Stage 1 technique, intent, or source, it took 10 Primordial Essence, which was already a pain to gather.

But Stage 2? That was double the cost. And to reach his goals, he needed at least five major advancements, meaning he would need at least 100 Primordial Essence!

His eye twitched. A hundred!

Currently, he made only three a day!

Lilith provided two Primordial Essence per exchange, since she had already reached Stage 1, while Tierra, still unawakened, could only contribute one.

That meant it would take him over a month to gather enough Essence naturally! Way too long!

He needed Tierra and Lilith to breakthrough once again so he could get rewarded by the system.

He let out a deep breath, shaking his head. Thinking too much about what he lacked wouldn’t help him.

Right now, he had to focus on what he could do.

He rolled his shoulders, loosening the tension in his muscles, before a smirk stretched across his lips.

There was still one last thing to take care of before tomorrow’s expedition.

His two beautiful, powerful, and very angry summons.

Lilith and Tierra had been glaring at him ever since the fight ended, both of them fuming after getting defeated.

He could feel the resentment practically leaking off them. It was honestly impressive how synchronized they were when it came to hating him after a loss.

"Well then," Creed muttered to himself, cracking his neck. "Time to feed the beasts."

Tomorrow was going to be a big day.
