Zara took Aaron directly to the same man from whom he collected the items for joining the academy, the head of the resource center.

"Come in", the man inside the office said, giving the two permission to enter.

"Good morning, sir. This is Aaron Skyhart, first ranker in the first year competition", Zara reintroduced the two.

"Aaron, huh. I remember you", the man said, "Heh, I didn’t think that you would be returning here so soon".

Aaron smiled and didn’t say anything.

"We didn’t get acquainted with each other last time. From the looks, you will be visiting us more in the future. I already know who you are, so let me introduce myself. My name is Peter Wellens, head of this fine hall known as the Student Resource Center", the man introduced himself.

"Hello, sir", Aaron bowed to the man.

This is because Aaron could feel the strength emanating from the man. Last time, there was no such phenomenon. The man probably hid his strength so that he wouldn’t imitate the newcomers, but for some reason, there was no such restriction today.

Dusk Credits can be used to buy items or can be exchanged for Alliance Credits, but this option would be used if there was an urgent need or if the student is about to graduate.

This was because Dusk credits can’t be used outside of the academy, and once they were exchanged into Alliance Credits, they can’t be turned back into Dusk credits.

"The second reward was a 50% discount coupon on library books, up to a maximum of ten books. Use this benefit accordingly to your interest. Don’t waste this offer on cheaply available books or books that you have no use for".

Low-level books are cheaper. So, wasting these coupons on them, the savings would be very low. These should be used on books that cost a lot, and that doesn’t mean one should use books that are not useful to them.

It would be just a waste of credits. So, Peter advised Aaron to use them wisely, which Aaron understood and nodded his head.

"The third reward is a token for an E-rank dungeon, and the number of tokens is five. There is no designated dungeon or restrictions. You can enter any E-rank dungeon for free using this token. As you were given five tokens, you have five free entries".

"This, you don’t need any advice from me. If you did, then giving you these would be just a waste of resources", Peter cracked a smile, and so did Aaron, hearing those words.

"The fourth reward is an item of your choice, as long as they don’t cross Mid-grade D-rank. If you don’t know this, like us, items have ranks, but they don’t have levels like us. What they have are grades".

"The lowest rank is F-rank, similar to Rank-0, while E-rank is rank-1, and the item reward for you is D-rank, which means Rank-2. Coming to grades, there are three grades, low, mid and high grades".

"You are already wearing a necklace. So, my suggestion for you is to pick a ring that can boost your power".

Aaron nodded, saying that he understood.

Every awakener has various tools that can help them in battles. If they depend solely on themselves, the winning chances are low and what about after the battle?

Any battle would attract nearby forces, and if they had bad intentions, if you were weakened after the battle, then you would lose to those evil people. So, any battle needs to be over soon without losing much energy and health.

For this purpose, there are weapons, armour and auxiliary items that can improve one’s power.

Weapons and armour depend on the class of an awakener.

The reason why there are restrictions on the number of items is that having too many would cause interference.

There are two hands, which means one can wear up to ten rings, and when it comes to necklaces, one can wear as many as they want, but having too many can interfere and can backfire. So, if one wants to wear more than the number, they can as long as they make sure that the others are inactive and only a single necklace and two rings, one on each hand, are active at a time.

Aaron has two necklaces, one he was wearing, which he got from the dungeon and the other from the school principal, which he was given after the exam.

Aaron knew about this, and the reason why he wore only a single one. He didn’t have any rings. So, Peter told him to choose a ring.

Aaron can choose a weapon or armour, but he was levelling up too fast. So, those low-level weapons would become trash sooner rather than later.

While this is true for both weapons and armour, that can’t be said to be true for auxiliary items, as they were rare.

Though there are smiths who can make them, a smith needs a blueprint to learn the crafting of an item. It would come from Professionals called Blueprint Crafters or from drops, both were rare.

Even if there are Blueprint Crafters, they are considered the worst of all the Crafting Category Professionals, as they improve very slowly. So, high-level blueprints are very low in supply.

Given a choice between Weapons, Armour and Auxiliary items, most choose the first two. So, the Blueprint Crafters focus on those two.

So, if Aaron chooses a ring as his reward, then that would be with him for a long time.

"Now, the fifth and final reward. You get to select a skill from the available list. There is one restriction, though, but that’s only for you. Death Skills are too rare, and there are not many. If you are someone who awakened common classes like Fire Mage or something like that".

"Of course, the academy is not going to shortchange you. Since you can’t get your own professional skill, you can take two general skills of your choice", Peter disclosed all the rewards given to Aaron.
