The Five-Day travel...

The group boarded the train and was assigned seats. Two boys and two men were given a cabin, while a Woman, two girls and a boy were assigned to the same cabin.

When that happened, the other boys cast envious looks at Aaron but didn’t rise to dispute the assigned seats.

Aaron too questioned in his mind, but he got an answer a few minutes later without actually asking the question.

"I know that you are wondering why you are here, and not others?" Erika asked Aaron, looking at his confused face.

Aaron nodded to her question.

"The answer was simple, I nominated you to be here", she replied, but that only confused him more.

"Ah...what? I don’t understand".

"It’s simple. There are five males and five females in the group. The simplicity of the division was the teachers. There are three of them, of which two are male. So those two were assigned to one cabin, while the vice-headmistress was assigned to another cabin".

"Coming to the students, two of us were girls, which made it easy. We were directly assigned to the cabin where the Vice-headmistress is, but the problem arose with three boys. Two can be assigned to the cabin with the two teachers, but one student would be left out, while our cabin would have a vacant seat".

"So, we three spoke with each other, and I nominated you because you are my friend, while the other two were only known after the selection. As for Diana, she didn’t know much about the other two, except for what she learned in the last few days. Moreover, it was because of you, though indirectly, that Diana made it to the team. So, you were the choice that we two selected, and the Vice-headmistress, she didn’t care about it", Erika explained clearly.

Aaron now understood why he was assigned to this cabin instead of others.

Since they had to make a choice between three, they selected the one that she knew better or the one to whom the other was indebted, though it was because of an accident. Though this wasn’t a favour, they trusted him more than the other two.

After hearing the reason behind the choice, he didn’t mind. When he was allocated the seat, he was worried that there was some other reason behind that. Now that he knew the reason, he wasn’t worried about that.

"Oh, there is one minor inconvenience, though. You have to take one of the upper berths", Erika said.

Aaron smiled, "No problem", he said and climbed up to one of the berths and claimed it for himself. He can’t say no to that, after all, he was in the minority. So, he quickly did what he needed to do.

As Aaron took his seat, he took out a magazine to read, while the three below started to gossip.

While Aaron was looking at the magazine, he inadvertently caught a glimpse of the girls down below.

Lyanna was seated in the berth kind of opposite Aaron’s, while the other two were seated in the same berth below. All three leaned forward and discussed in a low voice.

Though he knew that they were gossiping, he ignored them as he started to read the magazine, but at this moment, he accidentally saw them leaning forward.

He could clearly see the snow mountains of Lyanna through her low-cut dress. The other two were below him, and the view was not possible.

When he saw Lyanna’s mountains, his dragon rose from sleep, ready to plough the mountains and enter her sacred cave.

"Wow", Aaron muttered in a low voice, clearly attracted to Lyanna’s mountains.

It is a closed cabin and everyone could hear his words, even if he muttered in a low voice, but he was enjoying the view available to him, which happened accidentally while he was reading the magazine to pass the time.

Even though they heard him mutter, the three didn’t pay any attention because Aaron quickly turned his eyes away from the girls to the magazine in his hand.

Though his body wanted to get down and enjoy Lyanna, it was not something he could do.

With Samantha, she was the one who initiated the activity, while Zara, she was flirting with him for weeks before anything happened. So, even though it looks like he took initiative with Zara, he didn’t. He just answered the call in both cases, and that was it.

Moreover, even if wanted to make a move first, it was best reserved for someone who wouldn’t squash you like a bug.

He heard that the vice-headmistress was a Death professional like him, and is at peak Rank 6. That means, she can squish him if he made any wrong move. So, he controlled himself and turned away, so that he wouldn’t give any reason for her to squash him like a bug.

The five days passed without any incidents, and soon their destination arrived.

Lyanna looked outside the window before she turned towards the students, "Our destination is here. Get ready, we will have company when we get off the train. Even though it was a five-day travel, it’s best that we appear at least presentable to our receivers", she said.

Once the order was given, everyone went to clean themselves up a bit so that they would be a bit presentable later on.

Aaron too breathed a little in relief. The five days were torturous to him.

It was not just Lyanna, but from his berth, he got to see all three in a better view, but he couldn’t make any moves. He could only watch them and enjoy the moments, nothing more, which was torture for him.

If only all three were students of his age, he could have made some moves, but one of the co-passengers is the vice-headmistress of the academy where he has to stay for more than three years, which stopped him from doing anything stupid, but that doesn’t mean he had it easy.

Now that the journey was about to be over, he didn’t need to go through the torture anymore, which relieved him a little.
