Chapter 1171: Chapter 1176: Determining One’s True Heart 12

"Bang!" A gunshot echoed through the air and Ye Yingsu felt a piercing pain in her back. She spun around and gunned down her attacker.

"Kill her!"

The leader of those besieging Ye Yingsu relayed the kill command. A murderous glint crossed his eyes as he signaled for her death to his subordinates.

After taking down several more enemies, Ye Yingsu knew she had reached her limit. A dagger drove into her shoulder and she fell to the ground.

As she collapsed, she seemed to see the face of Beiming Yi. She suddenly felt as though she had missed out on so many things...

Gu Qingxin, you must take good care of Xiao Yi for me.

Seeing the resilient woman fall, the men thought of their fallen comrades and raised their guns towards her.

"Bang bang bang bang!" A machine gun strafed the men, and all of them fell at the sound. The leader, who had been waiting outside, heard the commotion and tried to flee, but Lan Liehuo quickly eliminated him.

Lan Liehuo turned off his aircraft and jumped to the ground. Looking at the bloodied woman, he cursed under his breath, hurried over, and lifted Ye Yingsu into his arms.

"Hold on, you damned woman! If you die, I swear I won’t let you rest in peace! I still haven’t avenged myself!" Lan Liehuo left the scene with her. A helicopter approached, and Lan Liehuo carried Ye Yingsu onto it.

By the time Caesar received the news and arrived at the scene, Lan Liehuo had already rescued Ye Yingsu. He saw all the casualties and searched high and low, but he couldn’t find Ye Yingsu anywhere.

"Boss, what should we do? Where’s Sister Yingsu?" Liang QiQi was almost in tears. She turned angrily towards a woman nearby, "Fenji, did you betray Sister Yingsu!? Did you feed her false information!? You wanted her dead, didn’t you!"

"I have no idea what you’re talking about."

Fenji wouldn’t be foolish enough to admit it outright. Even if she had done what she was accused of, who would have proof?

"Smack!" With a swift movement, Caesar turned around and slapped her across the face. "If anything happens to her," he said coldly, "you’ll be joining her!"

Given the extent of the carnage, yet without Ye Yingsu’s body, it meant she either successfully escaped or was rescued.

"Dispatch men to search the vicinity immediately!" Having given his orders, Caesar left hastily.

"Bitch!" Liang QiQi glared furiously at Fenji and quickly followed Caesar’s footsteps.

Fenji pressed a hand to her cheek, stunned. Even after all this, Ye Yingsu managed to escape.

When Ye Yingsu woke up, she was in excruciating pain. She slowly opened her eyes, saw the unfamiliar blue ceiling, then looked around the room with its exotic decorations and wrinkled her brows.

Where was she?

She didn’t for a moment believe that she was in heaven.

She wasn’t dead, but who saved her?

"Miss, you’re awake?"

A soft voice sounded nearby, and as Ye Yingsu turned her head she saw a beautiful young girl coming towards her clearly a servant.

"Where am I?" Ye Yingsu asked hoarsely, attempting to sit up.

"Ah, don’t move around, you’re badly hurt, and moving might tear your wound open." The young girl admonished.

"I’m fine. Just tell me where I am and who is your master," Ye Yingsu huffed, her brow furrowed deeply.

"Miss, those things aren’t important right now. You should heal first... My name is Shui Jing. If you need anything, feel free to ask."
