Chapter 54 -54: As evil as his father

Cherish Turner was completely dumbfounded. Where did this little guy come from?

“Mom, listen to me, it’s not what you think, he and I, we…”

“Auntie, that’s not what you said when you came to our house!” Lewis immediately corrected, glaring at Cherish.

“You little thing, don’t talk nonsense!” This father and son pair was simply a bane of her existence. Who had she provoked?

“Little friend, come here, grandma will give you candy to eat. Tell grandma how you and Auntie Cherish know each other?”

Mother Turner showed a kind, sweet smile, looked at Cherish, then led Lewis by his chubby little hand and settled him into the sofa.

The freshly cooked rice porridge this morning smelled delicious, tantalizing the little guy’s taste buds.

“Grandma, haven’t you guys had breakfast yet?” The little one didn’t answer Mother Turner’s question, and changed the topic.

“Uh, not yet. Your Auntie Cherish is such a lazybones, always waking up so late!”

As she spoke, her eyes darted like small knives towards Cherish!

Cherish was scared, and used a towel to block her mother’s sharp gaze!

“What’s cooking that smells so good?” Hmmm, this family was just like Auntie Cherish–simple-minded, unable to grasp the important point when people spoke, leaving me no choice but to shamelessly guide them.

Since birth, Lewis had been pampered with the best of everything — imported milk powder, the best food, and luxuries. But he had never tasted a warm, ordinary family breakfast.

Cherish couldn’t stand it anymore. She scooped a bowl of porridge from the kitchen, found a small spoon, sprinkled some preserved egg on the porridge, added a few freshly fried peanuts, and brought it in front of the little one.

“Mom, he’s hungry and wants to eat. Can’t you wait until he’s done before asking questions?”

As she spoke, Cherish picked up the child and placed him on the dining table!

In a low voice, she asked, “You little rascal, how dare you come to my house and make a scene? Where’s your father? Doesn’t he watch over you?” Lewis flashed a look identical to his father’s and grinned sinisterly. But then, he suddenly changed his expression and cried out, “Grandma, Auntie Cherish is scolding me!”

“What’s wrong? What’s wrong? Cherish, come out here and stand by the door! Are you rebelling against me, even threatening a child now? I have questions to ask her, and she’s not getting away today!”

Father Turner had been watching for a while and found the child to be adorable. But since the boy claimed Cherish was his father’s girlfriend, it meant she was attracted to a married man, which was not a good thing!

“Your mother is right. Stand aside for now and later, we will question you slowly!”

Cherish felt like fainting. The darn kid was intentionally talking nonsense — he was just as bad as his father!

Mother Turner held a small bowl in one hand and a small spoon in the other, feeding the child bite by bite. He was simply too adorable! She had never seen such a cute, fun-loving child, and it made her fall in love!

“Want more? Lewis, is Grandma’s breakfast so delicious that you like it so much? Oh, take it slow, take it slow!”

Mother Turner lovingly fed him, completely forgetting about her plans for a thorough interrogation. She had been completely captivated by Lewis’s adorable behavior!

Just at that moment, the Turner Family’s doorbell rang again–
