Chapter 239: Chapter 238: Crash the wedding 2

The black sportscar shot out of the garage. Qiao Minde saw many reporters were blocking the way.

"Who’s that?" One of the reporters directed the camera in his direction, pointing.

The windows were tinted black, the number plate had been swapped. The car looked very differently from what he usually drive.

"That’s not Qiao Minde, right?" Another said.

"Why not we check it out? Who knows if he’s hiding in the back seat or boot?"

"The company suffers a huge setback. I wonder what Qiao Minde will say about it,"

The reporters didn’t move out of the way, they wanted to see who was in the car. Even thought of asking the driver to stop the car and roll down the windows so that they could take a look.

But Qiao Minde didn’t care. He didn’t even stop the car, driving as far as the devil straight through the crowd of reporters!

"Ahhh!" The reporters could only scream and jump out of the way. Some of them cursed at the driver for having no humanity.

Qiao Minde managed to hit the main roads, charging towards the hotel.

The Qiao Group’s Hotel. He could see the signboard from afar. Qiao Minde stepped on the accelerator. The time was 7:30 AM.

At the hotel.

Qiao Nian was dressed in a beautiful white gown. Shentu Chu was standing in the altar in a suit.

Their eyes met. Qiao Nian could see that he didn’t look happy at all. Instead, he looked as if something was bothering him.

If he didn’t want to marry her, then why did he come?

Qiao Nian felt hurt. She was forced by her mother to walk down the aisle. Every step towards the altar felt like she was throwing away her happiness and freedom.

Where was her brother? She scanned the people who were smiling on the left and right but didn’t see him. She reached the altar and stood beside Shentu Chu.

At the front row, Third Madam Qiao was smiling victoriously.

"Is your head okay?" Qiao Nian asked as the priest began to talk about marriage and the duties of husband and wife.

"It’s fine," he replied with a smile.

Qiao Tong watched them with a sneer. She wanted to taunt and laugh at her sister for marrying an illegitimate son with a bad reputation.

"Mr Shentu, do you take this woman as your lawfully wedded wife?" The priest held out the rings.

Shentu Chu slowly took one of the rings, hesitating. Third Madam Qiao cleared her throat loudly.

His eyes flitted to where Third Madam Qiao sat and back to the ring.

"I do," he said, slipping the ring into her finger.

"Miss Qiao, do you take this man as your lawfully wedded husband?" The priest asked.

Qiao Nian stared into Shentu Chu’s eyes. He doesn’t love me, right? Who would be willing to marry a loser like me? Mother must have forced him.

Shentu Chu was silent, taking in her lovely face to be locked away deep in his heart.

Even if he were to marry her, it mustn’t be because he was forced too.

Nian Nian, he sounded her name silently, his lips moving ever so slightly.

Third Madam Qiao was getting anxious. Why hasn’t Qiao Nian say ’I do’ yet? It seems like she needed to push her. She was already this close to her goals. freewebnσvel.cøm

Far away when the wedding was proceeding.

Peixuan Ruxi stood on a high rised building. He pulled out a modified rifle from a black casing, fixed a silencer on the end. Then he brought it up to his eyes and peered through it. In the very far distance, he could see his target on the roof of a high building.

He counted, there were about five people following after Shentu Mingye.

All he needed was to take them out quietly.

"Oh, my babies. I haven’t taken you out a long time. Don’t be sad, Papa’s here to play with you," Peixuan Ruxi kissed the gun lovingly. He even caressed the gun, a maniacal glint in his eyes.

Then he positioned the rifle...

BAM!

Shentu Mingye turned and looked up. The skies were empty, no signs of life. He thought he heard something from above.

In front of the Qiao family’s hotel. A black car drove up to the hotel. A girl in red dress that had a slit at the thigh, revealing her slender fair leg, and a pair of black sunglasses, strode up to the entrance.

Following behind her was a man in mask. His tall stature and imposing presence made heads turned.

Qin Zhuzhu reached the hall where the wedding was being held. A maid blocked her way.

"Miss, you cannot go in unless you have an invitation," The maid said. She eyed Qin Zhuzhu from head to bottom. She’s not wearing anything branded so she must be some woman trying to throw themselves at the Qiao family and claimed she’s pregnant.

Just one look at that red dress, the maid could tell that it was a cheap imitation.

"Invitation?" The haughty voice sounded from the girl’s red lips. "Do I need one?"

She sounded innocent yet naughty. A siren disguised in human skin.

"Miss, please leave. Without an invitation, you are not allowed to enter the wedding hall," the maid raised her chin up to match Qin Zhuzhu’s height, but unfortunately she was still shorter than her.

"What if I don’t?" The mischievous glint in her eyes were hard to be mistaken; her intentions were clear.

"Hey! Wait! Wait-" the maid didn’t had time to shout as Qin Zhuzhu barged her way through. She pushed passed the maids and guards, heading straight to the double doors of the doors of grand hotel.

"Someone call security!" The maid shouted. But it was too late.

Qin Zhuzhu kicked the doors open. The priest was about to give the ring to Qiao Nian. Qiao Nian’s lips moved.

Ten guards rushed at Qin Zhuzhu, holding batons. Some even had guns by their side.

"Third Madam Q....qiao," the maid bowed.

Qin Zhuzhu noticed the maid was cowering in fear, body trembling badly. Third Madam Qiao came striding towards her with a wicked smile on her lips.
