Fake Marriage To The Richest Tycoon-Chapter 303 - 302: I’m not your brother!
Chapter 303: Chapter 302: I’m not your brother!
"Shentu Chu, Y-you!" Shentu Mingye shook with anger. His eldest brother was really too shameless!
Wait, he’s no longer his eldest brother. He’s a scumbag! Shentu Mingye cursed him inwardly.
"He must have followed you. If you want him safe, don’t let him get caught up with all of these," Shentu Chu spoke to Shentu Jing as if Shentu Mingye was invisible. It was obvious that Shentu Mingye already had suspected him a long time ago but he didn’t cared much about it.
After all, Shentu Mingye wasn’t a fool. So there was no need to pretend to that Shentu Jing was dead now. He only wanted to get a funny reaction of Shentu Mingye to tease him.
"Do you still remember that threat by Third Madam Qiao?" Shentu Chu reminded Shentu Jing.
Shentu Jing’s eyes darkened.
During the wedding, Shentu Chu had told him about the threat that Third Madam Qiao made to kill Shentu Mingye if he doesn’t marry Qiao Nian. Luckily he asked Peixuan Ruxi to eliminate all the snipers that were waiting to kill Shentu Mingye, which was why they could escape.
For Third Madam Qiao to be able to mobilize such a dangerous group of people, she was really not simple!
"I thought you didn’t care," Shentu Jing said, thinking back on how stressed Shentu Chu sounded when he told him about that
"I just don’t want innocent people to get involved," Shentu Chu sighed.
"Then Qiao Nian? Isn’t she innocent? Aren’t you dragging her down?"
Shentu Jing was right. He cannot pull Qiao Nian into this but at the same time, Qiao Nian was already in this a long time ago..
"It’s too late.. Third Madam Qiao planned it all at the very beginning. I’m very selfish," was his reply to Shentu Jing.
"Both of you, stop talking! I can’t understand a thing!" Shentu Mingye cried out, throwing his hands down in frustration. Their conversation sounded solemn yet vague. He was getting headaches from hearing them.
And he can confirmed, that the Shentu Jing in front of him was real. He really was real! He wasn’t hallucinating!
"I’m talking to a ghost, can’t you see?" Shentu Chu smiled at him.
"Enough of that nonsense! You’re lying to me! He didn’t die at all! Second brother, why did you fake your death for many months? Why!? Why?!" Suddenly, Shentu Mingye had tears in his eyes.
Shentu Jing was unsure of what to do, startled by his younger brother’s tears. In all his years, he had never seen him cry before. This time, he must have hurted Shentu Mingye badly. A part of him wanted to comfort Mingye and tell him the truth. While another was holding him back, telling him that he would be doing more harm than good.
"Settle your brother. I’ve already been disowned," Shentu Chu scoffed and turned away, unwilling to look at the tears in Shentu Mingye’s eyes.
"Mingye, second brother is sorry. I...I..."
"I don’t want to hear that! You lied! You lied! Why?!" Shentu Mingye burst out with tears streaming down his cheeks.
He looked weak and vulnerable at this moment. Shentu Chu turned around, his neck tensed.
To achieve the greater goal, he had no choice but to hurt them. To hurt them.... To hurt them.... These words played all over in his head. Shentu Chu squeezed his eyes shut.
Behind him, Shentu Jing got off the desk and went to pat Shentu Mingye on the back. He didn’t know how to comfort crying people do he did a quick search online.
To comfort crying men is different from girls, an online article read.
Shentu Jing quickly skimped read it. The article read that one must be comforted using different ways based on what that person is upset about. But all the online situations were so different from theirs!
Number one, pat his back and apologize. Shentu Jing started to pat Shentu Mingye on the back.
"Mingye, I’m sorry. I...I didn’t mean to lie to you,"
Unfortunately, Shentu Mingye cried even louder, sobbing and asking him why.
"You’re both my brothers! Yet you treat me like I’m a stranger. Why? Why must the both of you lie to everyone? W...why are you two fighting!? We are brothers!"
Both my brothers? We are brothers? That word felt like a stab in Shentu Chu’s chest.
Unable to stand in any longer, Shentu Chu finally turned around and yelled, "Shut up! Didn’t you already disowned me and cut off ties? Why are you still saying these!?"
Shentu Mingye looked up at Shentu Chu, choking with sobs.
The youngest brother looked very pitiful and full of despair. Shentu Chu couldn’t bear to look at him any second longer.
"Shentu Chu, Y-you..." The words were stuck in his throat.
"You what? I’m not your brother. What I do or say have nothing to do with you, isn’t it? You’re an eyesore, an obstacle. You and your mother owed me a life!" Shentu Chu’s voice held a mocking tone.
"Get out of here. I won’t be kind to you in the future. You too, Shentu Jing," he glared at Shentu Jing.
There was a tick in his jaws, his patience was running out.
Shentu Mingye was silently sobbing. Various images of his childhood with Shentu Chu floated to his mind. The time they played hide and seek, the time when Shentu Chu snatched his lollipop, to another time when Shentu Chu was grounded for being naughty so young Shentu Mingye stole some ice cream and sneaked them to him. They were found out by old master Shentu who punished them both.
Another time was when Shentu Mingye was bullied at school for looking sissy. Young Shentu Chu stood up for him and beat up those bullies. Later, young Shentu Jing joined in the fight.
The result?
The two elder brothers were put into detention by the principal for causing a fight in school.
"Fine," Shentu Jing glared at Shentu Chu. He put his hand on Shentu Mingye’s trembling shoulders.
"In all, I want to say, our deal is broken. Shentu Chu, whatever happens in the future, don’t blame me," Shentu Jing said darkly before he left with Shentu Mingye.
No one noticed the small hidden camera on Shentu Mingye’s clothes. The camera glinted underneath the lamp as they made their way to the front door.
