Chapter 762: Hari Liu Is The Devil (Part 3)

"Those people from Beast Tamer Valley are too despicable!"

But with so many demonic beasts, they realized that even if they rushed over now, it wouldn’t help.

They couldn’t help but glance at the small cave inside.

Inside the small cave, their conversation didn’t escape Kenny Lin’s ears.

He heard that Renshu Chang might be in danger, but he stood by the stone bed, as still as a rock, not moving at all.

On the stone bed was Amalia, who had successfully absorbed the Solarian Flame and was now fully focused on refining a weapon.

The intense original flame, ever since absorbing the Solarian Flame, had turned into a deep, unusual red, so dense that it didn’t even look like flames anymore.

If it weren’t for the intense heat radiating from it, no one would have thought it was fire.

"It sounds like something’s happening outside. Aren’t you going to check?" Amalia had split her attention a bit and also heard the noise, though not as clearly as Kenny Lin.

"They won’t die," Kenny Lin replied indifferently as if he didn’t care at all about Renshu Chang’s safety.

"I can’t concentrate," Amalia simply said, not bothering to explain further.

Kenny Lin suddenly cursed under his breath, "Why couldn’t they just stay behind obediently and cultivate in the cave? Those useless bunch."

"No matter how useless they are, they’re still our fellow disciples. Since you joined the sect, you should change that mindset of yours. If you can’t change it, at least don’t say it out loud—keep it to yourself," Amalia said calmly.

"Just focus on refining your weapon," Kenny Lin grumbled, his face turned dark, as he turned around and left the small cave.

At the cave entrance, the others were still debating whether they should go in and alert their junior master uncle and martial aunt or who should do it.

Suddenly, they saw a figure appear at the entrance of the small cave.

"Junior Master Uncle..." Senior Brother Zhang started to greet him, but then he caught a glimpse of Junior Master Uncle’s unhappy expression, and the rest of his words got stuck in his throat.

Junior Master Uncle seemed angry—was it because they were talking too loudly outside and disturbed him?

In a way, he wasn’t wrong.

"Ding Huiqing, lead the way. The rest of you stay here and keep watch. Your Martial Aunt is inside in seclusion. If anyone dares to disturb her, I’ll take their head. Understand?" Kenny Lin’s cold gaze swept over the six people present.

Six heads nodded their heads in unison.

Whether they understood or not, they had to pretend they did.

Junior Master Uncle’s expression was too terrifying.

After saying that, Kenny Lin grabbed Ding Huiqing by the collar and instantly vanished from sight.

As soon as he left, everyone breathed a sigh of relief, and the air seemed to be fresher.

In the small cave, hearing the commotion and realizing that Kenny Lin had gone, Amalia finally focused all her attention on the blade in front of her again.

The Golden Solarian Tree was a fire-type material and was known to be very hard to be refined, according to some books.

However, since she had absorbed the Solarian Flame, the temperature of her flames had increased.

So, it didn’t take the forty-nine days mentioned in the books to refine a branch of the Golden Solarian Tree.

Amalia only needed half a day.

In the remaining half day, she refined the other materials and turning them into a dry and hard substance.

While she was refining the weapon, the people guarding the cave, following Kenny Lin’s instructions, noticed the temperature inside the cave rising.

However, this time, it wasn’t as hot as before.

Although it was still warm, it wasn’t that unbearable.

Vincent Tan couldn’t stay still.

After a while, she said, "I want to go outside and take a look."

"It’s better not to wander around," Senior Brother Cao said.

He also wanted to go outside but didn’t dare disobey his Junior Master Uncle’s orders.

"I’ll just stand at the cave entrance and look outside," Vincent Tan said softly.

"Alright, but remember not to wander too far. If you get into danger, we might not be able to rescue you in time," Senior Brother Cao warned.

"I understand," Vincent Tan nodded.

Despite not having much of a senior’s demeanor, he was close in age to the others, and everyone often forgot that he and the others were technically above them in terms of seniority.

Senior Brother Zhang saw him hopping out and said, "Bishwa Cao, you should go with him to make sure nothing goes wrong."

"Alright," Senior Brother Cao agreed and followed Vincent Tan’s footsteps out of the cave.

Just as Kenny Lin was leaving with Ding Huiqing.

"Are you sure?" In a dark corner, a pair of cold, glinting eyes were barely visible.

A devil stood in front of him and said, "I saw it with my own eyes. It’s definitely true."

"If that’s the case, then it’s a great chance for us. Now is the best time to act. We can’t delay any longer."

The devil partly bathed in sunlight was Nith.

After lying low for a while, his injuries had mostly healed.

He was eager to prove himself again.

If given another chance, he wouldn’t charge in recklessly like before and face that Mid-Stage Nascent Soul demonic beast.

It wouldn’t be as frustrating as it was last time.

"Could this be a trick to lure us away?" Another young devil asked with concern.

"Not likely. They wouldn’t know where we’re hiding."

The speaker was Al’gath.

In the darkness, his powerful presence couldn’t be ignored.

Although he had previously lost to Amalia, he was still one of the strongest devils.

"Then let’s go. We don’t have much time. If we hesitate any longer, the others will come back, and we won’t get another chance," Nith urged Al’gath.

"I agree with Nith. We don’t have much time left in the secret realm. If we miss this opportunity, it might be a long time before we get another chance. Unless we dare to ambush them at the entrance."
