Derek Lam looked at the others.

"Ethan Liao was indeed the last one running," Kailash Ren said calmly.

"Running?" Derek Lam noticed her choice of words was odd.

Kailash Ren continued, "Elder Teng might not know this, but when Ethan Liao appeared, there were over a hundred of demonic beasts chasing after him, including five that were at the Nascent Soul stage."

Derek Lam asked in a serious tone, "Why were the demonic beasts chasing Ethan Liao?"

"We don’t know," Kailash Ren replied, "During the battle at the bottom of the cliff, I only saw them watching from the sideline. After that, I never saw them again."

Once she spoke, the others started sharing what they had seen.

"I saw Ethan Liao and another Beast Tamer Valley disciple being chased by demonic beasts."

"Now that you mention it, it was very strange. The demonic beasts weren’t chasing anyone else, just the Beast Tamer Valley disciples."

Elder Yeohlee Teng then asked, "Besides the Beast Tamer Valley disciples, did any of you see my Nine Cauldron Sect disciples?"

"I didn’t say that, and whether there were benefits or not is just your speculation," Derek Lam said loudly.

He glared angrily at Renshu Chang, Amalia, and Kenny Lin.

Everyone’s faces changed at that, "There’s a Soul Formation stage demonic beast in the secret realm?"

"Is that true?" Elder Wang asked seriously.

"It’s true," Renshu Chang answered, "That’s why we didn’t dare to stay."

"Normally, a Soul Formation stage demonic beast wouldn’t appear unless there’s a human or devil who offends it," Elder Wang said in a deep voice.

Yeohlee Teng’s eyes locked onto Derek Lam like nails, "Why would a Soul Formation stage demonic beast show up unless the disciples of Beast Tamer Valley stole its cubs? There’s no other explanation. Now I understand why none of my Nine Cauldron Sect disciples made it out."

If that was true, then the Nine Cauldron Sect’s disciples were likely tricked by Beast Tamer Valley, angering the demonic beast and becoming scapegoats.

"Why didn’t anyone else see this Soul Formation stage demonic beast?" Derek Lam argued.

Elder Wang shook his head, "Derek Lam, stop arguing. We all know that without a stronger demonic beast controlling them, five Nascent Soul stage demonic beasts wouldn’t appear together."

Yeohlee Teng laughed coldly, "You can keep arguing, but I will report this to the sect."

Derek Lam’s face darkened.
