Getting reborn: I will make a harem this time.-Chapter 86: Ayesha’s P.O.V
Chapter 86: Ayesha’s P.O.V
[A/N: You guys can skip this Chapter if you want. I don’t know if it will be just 1 or 2, but it won’t hold anything important, just a backstory of Ayesha. I am doing this cause I am writing this novel from the pov of Ravi, so I will be writing Chapters like this in future to show how others think or feel.]

My name is Ayesha Elphin. An Elf born from a royal lineage. A princess of the Elven race.
As the daughter of the Elf queen, I was always considered as someone who was going to surpass her and make our race great again.
From childhood, I was trained by my mother personally.
For years and decades, she trained me, but unlike her, who is considered to be the sword saint, I had no potential in that field. So I choose to be a mage, a support mage, to be exact.
Even after that, my mother didn’t say anything to me and supported my choice fully.
I was happy about that and strived to become the best mage in the world.
I read spells and learned all of them, whether it be enhancement, healing, or protection,
Soon, I was called a genius.
It was at that time that I had a revelation. After reaching rank 6, I saw a dream where the Goddess of life spoke to me.
It was after that incident that I became a saintess of the cathedral of the Goddess of Life and began to treat everyone who was in pain.
That work gave me relief and I was happy to help others.
And soon I even became someone who Goddess favours the most.
She even gave me a blessing, which helped me to enhance the rank of someone’s core and purify their mana.
After this incident, I became the head saintess of the Goddess and did my best to help as many people as I could.
During that period, I began to hear about a woman who slayed slave traders and freed the slaves; people called her The Hero, a bringer of justice.
Around that same time, another name echoed throughout the world: a demon who turned people into undead, The Demon King, destroyer of all.
As their names implied, their work was also the same: the hero did everything she could to bring peace to the world, and the demon king ran havoc in the world.
Everywhere he went, an army of undead followed after him.
Every day, I used to hear about his tyranny. The news of him killing thousands and destroying cities roamed around each corner of the world.
Even when I healed those who came injured after facing him, I used to shudder at how worse their condition was.
I loathed him, hated him to the core. So, I decided to go to the hero.
It was the first time when I met Eleanor, the hero.
She wasn’t anything like I imagined her to be, not any hard and brawny muscles, nor the look of fury and hatred on her face for those that do evil.
She was calm and serene, an untouchable beauty that exuded the presence of a warrior.
I, who had always admired her, fell in love with her when I went on a journey with her as her companion.
Maybe because I was always surrounded by women, I felt attracted to her.
In our Elven race, we can copulate with the same gender as well. With the help of the world tree, we can populate without losing our bloodline purity. I was also born from that same process.
This was why I was fine with it. But I was never able to express this to her.
For years, I admired her, but I never got the courage to confess this to her.
With time, our bond grew deeper, it was more than what normal friends can be but less than lovers.
The correct word to define this would be... sisters.
This was what we seemed like to the outside world.
Our journey to defeat the demon king went on for years, and when the time came when we faced the entire army of the demon king, we were ready.
Even though it was due to a foolish action of King Edward, it still brought him in front of us.
At that time, for a flickering moment, I admired or, to say saw the demon king in a new light.
For someone like him, who considered life as a meaningless thing, I never thought he would do someone like this for anyone.
At that moment, I felt jealous of Setsuna, for whom the evil demon was ready to wage war against the entire world.
But that feeling soon died cause he was someone who we had to defeat.
I planned to confess my feelings for Eleanor after this fight because I was sure that Eleanor could do it.
She was more than capable of defeating the demon king.
But my insight was limited, the demon king was too strong, far too strong.
Even when he faced so many peak rank 8 people, including my mother, he still took the upper hand and killed many of them.
But I could sense it; he was getting weaker, and his mana was running out from fighting for so long and managing his entire army.
I was sure that after a few times, he would lose for sure.
But he proved me wrong again; suddenly, his mana began to surge, and he cast a magic circle so big that it exceeded rank 8.
But before he could go further, he was sliced in half by a sword strike, it was from Eleanor.
The demon king died right there, but his magic circle was completed.
His last magic fell down from the circle in the form of a small dazzling light ball.
Even though it looked harmless, all of us were able to sense it; that thing was enough to destroy this entire continent.
