Ghost Exorciser: Is Loved By All-Chapter 280: Decoding the Dark Spell-1
Chapter 280: Chapter 280: Decoding the Dark Spell-1
Her hair was transformed.
Now the root of her hair had turned black, in fact, it was black till her shoulder but from her shoulders to her waist her hair was in silver color.
God! She looks like Princess Ivy!
Except her hair was partitioned horizontally.
Yu Holea looked at her reflection and realized that her skin was still pale but her entire aura had changed.
Maybe it was because of her changed hair but Yu Holea kept on feeling as if she was looking at someone else.
So foreign.
Yu Holea gazed at her reflection, her fingers tracing the delicate features of her cheeks.
The faint blush that adorned her pale skin appeared natural as if a gentle rosy hue had blossomed beneath the surface.
As she continued to observe her altered reflection, she noticed the change in her aura.
There was a subtle but palpable shift, an indefinable difference that made her feel like she was looking at a different person altogether.
Even her slender figure appeared more defined, carrying an elegance that accentuated her transformed appearance. The lines of her body, though subtle, seemed to possess a refined grace that was previously absent.
Each movement appeared more fluid as if she had attained a heightened sense of poise and balance.
Overall Yu Holea looked much more beautiful, elegant, and gentle.
Looking away a question struck in her mind.
Will she completely transform if she continues to advance?
Will her hair turn entirely black?
God.
How was she going to explain this to others?
Yu Holea sighed and wished her hair color could return to silver color.
Whoosh.
A wave of warm air surrounded her and her hair fluttered.
The previously half-black, half-silver hair suddenly turned back to silver.
Yu Holea was stunned seeing the change but she was ecstatic at the same time.
Can she change her hair color at her will?
Great!
Just before Yu Holea could be happy, Zephyr’s voice sounded,
"The Jiang Family placed the books you asked Qiao Li to place."
Yu Holea came out of the space, picked up the books, and returned to her space.
When Zephyr saw the book he couldn’t help but ask,
"Don’t tell me you are going to try to decipher that dark spell now!"
Yu Holea didn’t reply and started reading the book.
She still has 40 hours.
She could at least try and decode it.
And why was she so hellbent on decoding it?
Well the moment that voice said that she had the power to defeat the dark force, Yu Holea understood that it wasn’t about her cultivation.
If it wasn’t for her cultivation then why did she absorb the mystic stones?
Just now she increased her cultivation because she knew that after each advancement her mind became clearer and she started to understand everything at a much faster speed.
She understood that her 5th level of Heaven Rank of cultivation wasn’t enough, hence she tried to leap her cultivation.
Well, she can’t say that it made much difference but when she is practically left with no trump card, every small difference matters.
But in her back of mind, Yu Holea was determined to find a good cultivation manual, increase her mystical cultivation as well as increase her talismans cultivation.
Yu Holea started reading the books one by one.
The first book told how some letters in a hidden spell mean some other letters. For example, if the spell contains a lot of ’E’ which does not make much logic then what actually the E in the spell is ’A’
Yu Holea tried that method and met a disappointing result.
Then she dropped the first book and skimmed through the second book hoping to find a clue or a different approach that might shed light on the cryptic dark spell.
The second book delved deeper into the structure and sequences of ancient incantations. It elucidated the complex interplay of symbols, emphasizing the importance of the arrangement and order within a spell.
Yu Holea’s head started spinning just by looking at the complexity, but she didn’t give up and went on to understand them.
For the next 7 hours focused on understanding all the books but didn’t find a way to decode the spell at all.
Tired she laid on the grass and closed her eyes.
Zephyr who felt that Yu Holea had finally given up couldn’t help but say,
"See I told you, trying to decode the dark spell at the last minute, is similar to trying to complete the entire syllabus last minute."
Yu Holea closed her eyes as she kept on thinking about various possibilities and finally asked Zpehyr,
"You know who invited this spell right?"
"Of course," Zephyr said.
Even though his voice was neutral Yu Holea felt as if he was feeling very proud.
Her mouth twitched but she continued with her next question,
"So can you tell me what was his main profession and side profession?"
"Oh, he was an alchemist, spell master, and an array master. As for his side profession....um...I guess it was cooking." Zephyr replied.
Yu Holea was a little impressed that Zephyr knew so much but her mind was currently on a different matter and she said,
"What was his favorite food?"
Zephyr: "..."
"Do I look like his ex-nanny to you ?" Zephyr asked in a grumpy tone.
Yu Holea was a little amused hearing Zephyr’s tone, then she changed her question and asked,
"Alright, do you know anything that he was addicted to?"
Zephyr turned silent and just when Yu Holea thought that he wouldn’t reply to her, she heard him say,
"Milk. He was very addicted to milk."
Yu Holea narrowed his eyes and said in a low voice,
"Zephyr I think I have figured out a way to decode the spell."
"You have?" Zephyr asked with shock.
He couldn’t believe that the spell which the entire generation of geniuses wasn’t able to decode could be solved by a 16-year-old girl and hence he said,
"I think you should stop wasting time. I don’t want to discourage you but..."
However before he could finish, Yu Holea started examining the paper on which the dark spell was written.
She completely ignored Zephyr’s words.
Yu Holea knew that sometimes it is better to give up on certain things and when she thinks that they are not worth it or they won’t be much help, she gives up immediately.
However, for some reason, her instincts were telling her that she would be able to solve the dark spell.
Maybe she was thinking wrong but Yu Holea decided to dedicate at least 5 more hours before giving up.
If what she thought wasn’t true then she would just take it as a lesson.
Seeing Yu Holea’s indifference Zephyr shut its mouth with resentment
For the next hour, Yu Holea tried various spells and finally, after one hour, her eyes brightened.
She muttered a spell and the paper which was indestructible before now could be burned.
Zephyr was astonished and asked,
"How did you do it?"
But he didn’t let Holea finish and said,
"Ohh so you are trying to find ways to destroy it? Well..."
However to his horror, Yu Holea didn’t destroy the paper instead she asked,
"Can you tell me the most impeccable array that he had made?"
Zephyr was puzzled by Yu Holea’s question but it still replied,
"It was an Array called Confimenet."
Yu Holea asked again,
"Do you know the basic structure of that array?"
Even though Yu Holea asked that question, she wasn’t very hopeful.
How would a talisman pagoda know an array? Not to mention from the looks of it is a very complex array.
To her surprise, Zephyr replied in a nonchalant tone,
"Yes, I do."
For a moment Yu Holea felt as if Zephyr despised her but she said what was more important,
"Can you show it to me?"
Zephyr was a bit disappointed at the fact that Yu Holea didn’t ask him why it knew the array structure, however, it replied,
"Yes. Wait a minute."
Soon Yu Holea felt an image appearing in her mind.
It was an array.
Zpehyr’s voice sounded,
"You might think how I know it...well let me tell you Talisman Pagoda is not any regular artifact. It is..."
Yu Holea imitated Zephyr’s voice and said,
"....it is a legendary-level artifact with many people sought after it, only..."
Then she pointed to herself and said,
"...only you don’t care about it! How impudent!"
This was the speech that she heard regularly from Zephyr and hence she remembered it.
Yu Holea knew that the reason why Zephyr gave her such a speech was because she gradually stopped cultivating her talisman-making skills.
He wanted Yu Holea to make more talisman and get proficient in it.
But since Yu Holea was busy she kept on delaying the matter.
Feeling a bit guilty Yu Holea coughed and said in a promising tone,
"Zephyr I promise that you after dealing with Jiang Family’s matter, I will diligently cultivate."
