Gravity Mage with Level-Up System-Chapter 1375: Part 1: Forbidden Wizard Erwin!
From MC's Perspective:
Time passed.
I stopped reading when it was evening. I had read a few more books regarding the ruins, but none of them were suitable for me.
Instead of going there and endangering my life, I thought it was safer to spend time understanding the inheritances that I had. Then I stood up and placed the books on their racks before heading toward the exit.
At this time, a few more people could be seen reading books. I could tell they were from wizard families; only they had the leisure to spend time here.
"Young man Vince, what do you think of the store?" Martin asked.
I approached the front desk. After hearing his question, I smiled.
"I have never seen such a collection before," I replied honestly.
"Good to hear that," Martin replied.
Then he seemed to think of something before saying, "Young man, I have advice for you. I saw you were reading books about the ruins."
"The ruins are not easy to explore. Only those with strong forces can enter to explore. The rest of the wandering wizards are hunted down by others."
"Even someone with a Magic Tower identity is not safe from such dangers," he said in a solemn tone.
Hearing that, my chest tightened. I didn't know, but I felt this old man had uncovered my identity. According to Manager Lara, he could be trusted, so I put my heart at ease.
"Well, I'm just looking to gain more knowledge. I'm not planning to go outside," I said to him.
Old man Martin's eyebrows relaxed after hearing that.
"Then it's good. Like today, you can come here whenever you want," he said.
I nodded at him before leaving. Then I walked to the main street to find a flying cab.
About 20 minutes later, I returned to the Silver Tower. When I walked into the lobby, I found someone walking there. The person appeared to be a middle-aged man, but I sensed an unfathomable aura from him.
Upon sensing me, the person turned around. He was a middle-aged man with a short haircut, but he had a scar on the left side of his face, as if he had been injured by the claw of a monster.
His skin tone was fair, and he was taller than me.
"So you are Vincent Carey!"
His voice resonated. The next second, I felt a mountain of pressure on me. He was smiling at me, but I had a bad feeling.
As time passed, the pressure on me increased. I was being forced to bend my knee. My eyes gleamed with a twinkle. I had no enemies here, except the Meteor Supreme. So who was he? He was not a wizard seed.
As a few more seconds passed, I felt as though ages had gone by. I didn't have any other choice but to bend my knees.
Boom!
One of my knees touched the ground. A surge of anger appeared in my heart.
[Ding! A cruel intent is detected.]
[Host is advised to stay away from this Forbidden Wizard.]
The mechanical voice sounded in my mind. The next second, I was terrified. I didn't know when I had offended the forbidden wizard of the Silver Tower.
I had never seen one except for Lord Charlotte. This middle-aged man with short black hair and cold eyes was a strong enemy. If I didn't do anything right now, I could be injured.
"Lord Erwin, what are you doing?"
Just as I thought it was bad, I heard Manager Lara's voice the next second.
The middle-aged man's smile disappeared, and he removed the pressure.
Gasp!
The next second, I collapsed on the ground and started gasping for breath.
Lara came to Vincent's side and checked his condition. Seeing that there were no injuries, she sighed in relief.
A hint of fear flashed in her eyes. She didn't know when Lord Erwin had appeared here.
Erwin glanced at the two of them before leaving. From beginning to end, he didn't introduce himself.
When he was gone from sight, she felt uneasy.
Lara supported Vincent and took him to the infirmary. Upon arriving there, old healer Aiken asked them what had happened.
Lara hesitated as she looked around the room. Old man Aiken sensed something was wrong.
"You don't have to tell me now. I'll check his condition," he said.
On the other hand, I lay on the bed and focused on the status panel. I wanted to check whether there was any injury.

The status panel appeared before my eyes. My gaze fell on the mental and soul power, and seeing that it was indeed hurt, a terrible anger rose in my heart. At the same time, I started to feel helplessness.
I didn't want a Forbidden Wizard as an enemy right now. I had already made one from the black tower. I dismissed the status panel and allowed old man Aiken to heal me.
