"Breeze!"

All lights pointed at him, accompanied with orchestra music and loud cheers.

Max's face appeared on a large screen in the middle of the hall and he smiled widely.

Kaiden gestured to him to come up to the stage and Max complied.

As Max walked up to the stage, he could feel the gazes of everyone in the room. He didn't mind it, though. His heart was filled with pride.

Somehow, his feet felt so light that he could run and flip to the stage without any problem, but he wouldn't do that. He wanted to do this properly and calmly.

Max took his position at the podium. He smiled and shook Kaiden's hand.

"Breeze! Thank you for being here." Kaiden smiled widely, "You really are full of surprise. To think that we will create a record—no, a legend in the streaming community today."

"Thank you, sir." Max nodded.

Kaiden patted Max's shoulder and smiled, "I'll let you talk first before giving the award, alright? I know everyone wants to know your secret to your success. So, please take your time. But, before that, I need to congratulate you. So, once again, congratulations!"

"Thank you very much. I didn't expect to sweep the awards in all categories, so I feel pretty honored." Max smiled, "Well, it was unexpected."

"Yes. Now, let us give a big applause for our new rising star!" Kaiden smiled widely.

Applause rang throughout the hall.

"Please, take your time to deliver the speech. You can use 30 minutes if you want to." Kaiden winked.

Max nodded and smiled, "Okay."

Kaiden gave him a thumbs up and stepped to the back.

Max was now in front of the microphone, standing alone, looking at the audience. His gaze met Lily's, she nodded with a smile.

He smiled and said, "Thank you for all the support and love I've received since I started my activities. Everything meant a world for me. Please allow me to have a bit of your time to share something."

He paused and smiled at the audience, "A bit of my life story, actually. My life story as a streamer."

Max took a deep breath and looked at Lily. She gave him a reassuring nod, as if saying, "It's fine."

Max nodded and said, "My streaming story is a long one. It's about my past and present. Before, I had nothing at all. Everything was taken away from me. Health, riches, dreams, even the people I thought I could trust." Max paused. "Everything."

He paused and took another deep breath. His gaze turned serious. "I thought that I had nothing to lose. But I didn't give up. I held onto my dreams and I kept going. One person pushed me to try something else, and I tried streaming."

In his past life, it would be a doctor. And in this world, it would be his childhood friend Nina.

But the story didn't have to be accurate. He just wanted to get his point across. That no matter what, if he had the determination, he could achieve anything.

"It started as a hobby and a way to relieve massive stress, but now it's my life." Max smiled, "I found the fun of it and decided to go for it. So I streamed, and streamed, and streamed. And then I made friends."

He looked at the crowd, and he saw some of his friends nodding and smiling. "I made many friends. Good people, with good intentions."

"Every single person that watched my streams was my friends, even the haters. They made me grow stronger, and they helped me improve myself. It's thanks to everyone who watches my streams that I am standing here right now."

He looked at Lily, "And of course, to a person that changed my life and gave me the opportunity to push myself further, giving me warmth and motivation when I am down."

Lily smiled, her eyes glistened with tears.

"I owe my life to all of you." Max smiled, "Thank you."

A wave of applause rang throughout the room. Max looked around, his gaze meeting many people.

When the applause died down, he made a promise.

"From now on, I will continue streaming and make the community better. I will help others to achieve their dreams and be a part of this amazing industry that has given me so much."

<Quest Failed!>

<Penalty applied!>

<Uninstalling the system.>

The second round of applause couldn't enter Max's ears as the system spoke.

He could feel the system was leaving him, leaving his body.

The system's existence was slowly fading away. The blue windows, the notification sound, the quests, and the rewards. Everything was leaving him.

Max clenched his fist.

'Goodbye.'

He didn't say anything.

It was a silent and mutual understanding between the system and him.

Max didn't hate it.

After all, he had reached his goal. There were still two <Miracle Tickets> and he knew they could still be of use to him. He didn't need them, not yet. He would struggle and break down if needed, but he would do it alone. Or maybe, with Lily by his side.

Max was a changed person.

No longer a weak boy that needed help from a mysterious system.

Now, he was a confident and strong young man that could do anything.

"Alright! Now that the speech is done, let's move on to the new award." Kaiden smiled and took over the microphone. He snapped his fingers and fanfare could be heard.

On the large screen above the stage, the words 'Best Newbie Couple' could be seen.

"Due to Breeze's influence and to keep the streamers motivated to keep on doing their activities, we decided to create a special award this year." Kaiden smiled widely. "I hope this will bring motivation and happiness to everyone."

Max looked at him, his eyes wide.

Rainbow letters floated in the air accompanied by fireworks, reading the name of the new award.

"As someone who created a record in this place, today, we give you a special award!"

<GREATEST STREAMER>

The lights dimmed, making the rainbow words even brighter and clearer. The audience gave him a standing applause and the hall erupted in a loud noise. Max smiled, his chest filled with pride.

This 𝓬ontent is taken from freeweɓnovel.cѳm.

Now he understood. Why the quest was so unreasonable and strange. Why he had to reject the quest and why he would face a hard road ahead of him.

It was the system's way of giving him a gift, for achieving his goal and helping him in the journey. Even when the quest was so hard and unreasonable, it still wanted to give Max the best reward. So it made sure to give Max the best reward for his efforts.

There was no need for the Greatest Streamer System when he had become one.

'Thank you.'

Max smiled. His lips trembled.

He was finally free.

Free from the pain of losing everyone.

Free from the burden of his illness and everything.

He was no longer burdened with the past and could move on to the future.

And with a bright future ahead of him, Max didn't want to be bound by the system any longer. It would only hold him back. It was the system's mercy for Max to let go and let him live his own life.

With no one's interference, no more.

"Thank you very much." Max smiled. His smile was filled with joy and happiness. He didn't have any more words to say.

There would be a long journey ahead.

In the streaming world, there was no end.

Only the beginning.

***

We have finally reached the end.

I am sorry for lack of update in the last few chapters. I had some surgeries and couldn't really write.

But now I have finished it. Maybe it's a bit rushing, but this is the end that I envisioned when I first wrote this novel.

Let's meet in another novel in the future!
