HDXD: Omni Harem System-Chapter 62: Peering eyes
Chapter 62: Peering eyes
Everything was so clear, to the point of being overwhelming.
Both smell and hearing had upgraded, but they were not the only new sensory changes; Adam’s sense of touch also upgraded as well.
He could feel his skin prickled.
The feeling was subtle at first, but then it grew. A tingling awareness that spread across his entire body like a static charge.
His skin was so sensitive it was like his entire body had become an extension of his sight.
He could feel the movement happening around him, from the smallest change to the largest shift.
Every inch of the world within 100 meters...he could feel it all move around him, from the leaves to wind, from dust blowing off the ground to the bugs walking on the surface.
Every inch of the world within 100 meters, he could feel it.
Keira and Nyla stood nearby, their tails swishing in the air. He didn’t have to look at them to know they were there, moving, breathing. Every twitch of their ears, every subtle shift in their bodies, he felt it all.
But then, something else hit him.
The scent of blood... he can’t explain it, but when he focuses on Keira and Nyla, he can smell their blood from inside their body. However, this also applies to the fact that if he focuses, he can also hear the movement of their organs when they breathe or move.
But this control was not perfect; it was hard to focus when you are being bombarded with every smell, sound, and movement the world around you had to offer.
’Ughaa... Yeah, I need to train this some more...
Said Adam, as he began to float back down towards the twins. At this moment, he quickly used positive touch to heal the wounds on his hands.
"Sorry for the wait. Like I said, I just wanted to pay my respects. Either way, we should get moving...the Great Mist is starting to thin."
Kiera’s golden eyes flickered as she nodded at Adam and said.
"Then we move...let’s go."
Nyla jumped in, agreeing.
"Yeah, no time to waste.... I just really hope mom is ok."
Keria remained silent, but that aside, they began to take off.
Without wasting any more time, they headed straight towards Ultima village.

Inside the grand hall of the Shinso estate, three women sat in silence, their gazes locked onto a massive crystal ball. Within its swirling depths, an image flickered: it showed Adam flying across Nephari Bridge with the Inazuma twins.
And above Adam, without him knowing anything, a shadowy crow loomed in the air, silently tailing him rather than the girls.
Watching from the sofa, Priscilla, arms folded as she cast a sidelong glance at Minerva. For the first time in what felt like forever, the rough-mannered woman wasn’t holding a bottle of alcohol. Instead, her sharp eyes were fixed on the vision before her.
Nearby, White sat stiffly, her hands curled into her lap as she trembled. Of all places, this was the last spot she wanted to be... both in boredom and worry.
Priscilla was the first to break the silence. fгeewebnovёl.com
"Not going to lie, Minerva, I still think it was a bloody stupid idea to send Adam to the Ultima Clan, with the excuse of him delivering that so call letter of yours."
Her tone carried its usual sharpness, but there was an underlying concern beneath it, and rightfully so, given the situation that she herself was vividly aware of.
"Did I not warn you? I sensed vampires sneaking into our domain months ago."
Minerva, still watching the scene unfold, barely reacted to Priscilla’s anger.
"Yeah... Yeah...you did."
She muttered.
"And.... Tch!! I have been tailin those bastards since they set foot in our turf, but their moves are straight-up whack. Sneakin in and outta the Ultima Clan, holdin shady-ass meetin’s, chattin up village brats... askin weird shit. Now they’re sniffin round the Inazuma family, too. And the creepiest part? Every damn time I get close, they already know I’m comin. Like they’re always one step ahead, ain’t going to lie... it’s pissin me off."
She exhaled, running a hand through her hair.
"That’s why I threw Adam in there. If they’re hidin, and plotting something, he is the best damn way to sniff it out."
Said Minerva, whose lips curled slightly, displeased but intrigued.
From their Priscilla jump in saying.
"My question is, why hasn’t Kaguya reported any of this? Isn’t she the matriarch?"
Minerva’s expression darkened at this question as she replied.
"That’s a damn good question."
She leaned back, crossing her legs as she continued.
"But screw all that for a sec... I got a theory bout how they keep dodgin me. Someone’s coverin for em...maybe a prophet or some other person with future sight. Only way they’d know I’m comin every damn time. That’s why I needed Adam."
The moment Minerva said this, Priscilla sighed, eyes drifting back to the crystal ball, watching as Adam flew beside the twins. Her expression wavered for a moment before she spoke again.
"So... when are you planning to tell him?"
Minerva blinked at her question as she lounged across the sofa, one leg lazily draped over the armrest, her toned midriff fully exposed. She wore nothing but a barely-there black G-string, the thin straps sinking into her hips, and her large, perky breasts rested against her arm, covered only by the cascade of her wild purple hair.
Every time she shifted, her soft curves bounced, her bare ass slightly jiggling as she adjusted herself into a more comfortable position.
As she replied to Priscilla’s question.
"Tell him what?"
"Oh, don’t play dumb... You know damn well what I mean. You’ve been quiet about this for two years now."
A long pause followed.
And Minerva closed her eyes, exhaling slowly before answering.
"It didn’t seem important."
Priscilla scoffed, replying to this... saying.
"Oh, please."
"And besides."
Minerva continued.
"Some shit is better left buried ya know."
"If he knew, it’d shake everything up. Right now, he is a wild card...and if there is really a prophet screwin with us, that works in our favor."
"Ever since that brat showed up, fate itself’s been actin weird. So weird, in fact, that it got me curious, y’know? I wanted to see where he’d end up in the future... so I looked...decades ahead, centuries, hell, even thousands of years... and there is nothin. Just a damn blank canvas in the sea of time... He has no fate, no destiny. I can’t see a damn thing."
