After what felt like a few days, he was finally done, as after a bit of time, he was able to figure out how to detach those presences like a pro.

Of course, he would much rather prefer not having to do it one by one, so he would definitely check out a more efficient method in his memories later on.

But for now, at the very least, he was able to make Lila happy with his progress.

"Good job, Michael," she praised, gliding down. "But I'm curious—why did you do it so meticulously? Demons aren't meant to be spared."

"Obviously, that's why I kill them right after I'm done torturing them." Michael shrugged. "Though I really thought there was an easier way to do this—what a shame."

"There is." Lila giggled. "You just hadn't found it yet, but even then, your progress is much faster than I expected, so once again, good job."

"Yep," Michael grinned. "So what's my reward going to be?"

"Your reward...?" Lila tilted her head, when all of a sudden, she let out a sigh. "If you want a reward, you need to do a lot more than that."

"But the clothes warranted a reward?" Michael pushed. "I wonder... what if—"

"Fine, I'll let you hold my hand for 5 seconds," Lila said confidently, stretching her hand out.

However, Michael didn't accept, merely looking at her as though she was some sort of idiot.

"Why? You don't like your reward?" Lila asked, puzzled.

Michael shook his head. "I'm not a dog, Lila. But whenever you're ready to give me a more interesting reward, I'm up for it."

Before she could speak, he continued. "Also, what's the next part of our training? I've got a lot of mana left, so there's no way we're ending here, right?"

"N-No," Lila replied with a sigh. "Let's get some breakfast, and then we can continue your training—how does that sound?"

"Sounds good to me," Michael said, and with that, Lila shot out into the sky, and he followed right after her.

The area where he had practiced on the demons had been reduced to a complete ash land, as some demons exploded when their cores were tampered with, and others were accidentally killed.

Either way, he made sure to kill them all in the end, as a demon was always bad news.

Not Astraea though, she's nice, Michael noted, as he followed Lila, until finally, they arrived back in the city.

He could feel Celeste's and the other girls' presences, as they were merely running around through stores—still spending money.

It was natural to assume they forgot he even existed.

Nonetheless, Michael soon landed near an inn and went inside.

His last memory at the inn was pretty memorable, as Celeste was a little freaky.

But from the looks of things, Lila was just the typical mature woman—so no accidents like last time happened.

The two sat down, and as the waiter approached, they ordered their food.

Obviously, like the rich man Michael was, he ordered everything on the menu.

...On Lila's credit.

"You sure you can eat that much?" Lila asked, amused. "And also, did you just order everything under my name?"

"You're rich, aren't you?" Michael asked with a smile. "I'm just a simple academy student who doesn't have his own money—so naturally, you should be the one to pay."

"Mhm... I'll pretend I didn't see you buying the girls heaps of ice cream with the rarest ore in this world," Lila scoffed playfully, making his brows twitch. "Oh? Is that supposed to be a secret? In this big of a city? Come on, Michael, you can do better than that."

"Haha..." Michael trailed off, letting out a sigh. "So you've been stalking us."

"Not really," Lila shrugged. "I was more keen on protecting you—that was until you left the city and nearly got yourself killed."

"Well, I'm alive and kicking, so that's all that matters," Michael remarked with a hum, as his eyes traveled to her chest. "Thanks for the reward, by the way—I didn't even see when you took your bra off."

"W-What?" Lila's eyes widened, as she glanced down, just to see herself perfectly clothed.

"Just kidding, but that reaction was a good reward, thank you," Michael chuckled, avoiding Lila's glare.

Finally, their food arrived, and the waiter had to seat them at a different table—since this one couldn't hold nearly 100 dishes together.

Nonetheless, they finally dug in, and Michael was eating like he had been starved for a year.

And surprisingly, Lila was too—as they seemed to share a similar eating habit.

They weren't foodies, not at all—that title belonged to Rose.

But they were pretty close, as after around 20 dishes, both of them were now full.

Now, with over a dozen unfinished dishes, Michael and Lila were a bit conflicted.

However, just as they thought they would have to throw it out, a few people walked in, looking starved.

Therefore, Michael did the right thing—as the good role model he was.

"Oi, kids," Michael called out, startling the children.

Some ran away, while others stayed.

"That's a bit scary..." Lila muttered. "If you were trying to scare away the kids, then good job—it worked."

Michael rolled his eyes at her words, as he merely wrapped the food around with his mana and brought it over to the children.

He made little bags for each of them and handed it out.

At the same time, like the totally not dangerous person that he was, Michael went outside, and with his mana, froze all the children who ran away.

Yet as they were about to scream in fright, a bag of food landed in their hands, shutting them up right away.

"Surprise, I hope you guys enjoy the food," Michael said with a smile, as Lila approached from behind him.

"That was a nice gesture—but I now know how to train you next," Lila said ominously, making Michael flinch.

"W-What is it?" Michael asked, narrowing his eyes. "It's not going to be something weird, is it?"

"Not exactly." Lila giggled. "I will teach you how to seduce someone."

"Seduce someone? That's an interesting one," Michael raised his brow. "So who am I going to be seducing?"

A wide grin appeared on Lila's face as she pointed to herself. "Me. I want you to try seducing me in under a week—if you succeed, then we can proceed with the other training programs I have in mind."

"Woah... do you tell all your students to seduce you? Creepy..." Michael sat as a shiver ran down his spine.

Lila's face turned red as she violently shook her head. "N-No! I still have my chastity intact, so that would not be possible."

Michael's brows twitched. "You're a virgin? Really?"

"Don't use that word here..." Lila trailed off, glancing all around. "I might be one, but that doesn't mean I'm easy."

"Okay." Michael inflated her ego. "If you aren't so easy, then why suggest this in the first place? If you haven't lost your virginity still, does that mean the other students weren't able to seduce you?"

Lila shook her head. "I didn't give such a test to the other students, since they didn't even pass the master presence removing test—so you're basically the first."

"I see, alright... So when can I start?" Michael asked, and Lila merely giggled.

"Whenever you want—you have a week starting... now!"

Although she had said it so dramatically, Michael figured she just wanted an excuse to be closer to him.

And it was a bad thing, because he felt himself growing slightly attached to her—despite her being his enemy.

An angel and an Evangelist.

Two things that shouldn't co-exist in the first place, but here she was—living proof of that.

Nonetheless, if he could figure out a way to turn her over to the good side, then he'd do that.

Of course, unless she had some genius reason as to why she joined the demons in the first place.

If that was the case, then he was fucked.

"Alright then," Michael approached and grabbed her arms, before interlocking his fingers with hers. "Let's go on a date, shall we?"

"A date? Aren't you going to buy me flowers first? Or even some gifts?" Lila asked, puzzled.

"This isn't the movies—I'm not going to buy you a diamond shoe just yet," Michael said, as he began leading her through the streets.

Using his mana, he found a few spots—and some of which might actually be somewhat fun.

Mainly, bowling, archery, and of course...

A swimming resort.

Since the demons were repelled for the time being, Michael could enjoy his time here—and since Lila obviously wasn't planning on sending the completion message to the academy, then that meant he had plenty of time to get to the bottom of her personality.

Or so he hoped anyway—but as his hands were touching hers, he could vaguely feel a certain mana traveling inside her.

It was both demonic and normal.

Similar to chaos, just like Mephisto's—but not quite.

Nonetheless, Michael put those thoughts behind him, as he led her toward the bowling alley.

After all, he had to start off slow if he wanted to seduce her effectively.

This week is going to be fun...
