Chapter 64: The Rich Girl’s First Ride

Zelia and the other had just finished their breakfast.

Zelia then stood up eagerly, turning to Savra.

"So what should I pack?"

Savra leaned back in her chair, stretching with a yawn.

"You don’t need to pack anything."

Zelia blinked.

"Huh? But... Aren’t we going on a holiday?"

Savra smirked.

"We are—but not the poor-people kind."

She stood and gave Zelia a playful flick on the forehead.

"BB-1 has everything we need. Clothes, beauty products, toiletries—you name it."

"Better versions. Cleaner. More modern."

Zelia rubbed her forehead. "Seriously?"

"Seriously," Savra said with a grin.

"Just bring your phone and whatever you have for identification. That’s all."

Zelia nodded slowly.

"I see... that’s kind of cool."

Zain finished his last bite of toast, not even looking up.

"Yeah, welcome to luxury."

Zelia turned to him. "Aren’t you excited?"

Zain shrugged.

"I’m excited for the part where I get stronger. Not for overpriced soap and makeup."

Savra snorted.

"You’ll enjoy the massage chairs and gold-tipped towels, don’t worry."

Zain muttered, "I’ll enjoy finding a Mid-Tier ability more."

Savra raised an eyebrow. "You can do both."

Zelia clapped her hands together.

"Okay! Then let’s go before I overthink what to bring again."

Savra winked. "That’s the spirit."

---

Zelia moved quickly after breakfast, full of energy.

She gathered her ID card, phone, and a small folder of essential documents.

She even pulled out Zain’s identification and neatly packed it for him.

After she put everything into a compact travel pouch, she went to her room.

She wore a soft white blouse and a sleek, deep-blue skirt.

It was something she clearly didn’t wear often.

Zain glanced up. "Fancy."

Zelia smiled. "I thought I’d wear something nice for once."

She did a small spin. "I’m ready."

Zain stood up, still in his usual black clothes and jacket.

"I’ve been ready."

Zelia pouted. "You’re not even going to try?"

Zain walked past her. "I look good no matter what I wear."

Savra chuckled, brushing off her coat and strapping on her gear.

She wore a tight-fitting leather jacket over a clean gray top and black pants.

"Alright," she said, looking at them both.

"Let’s go."

The three of them stepped out into the streets.

They made their way to the train station, the edge of CD-1.

The border to BB-1 wasn’t something you could just walk across.

It was guarded, monitored, and stretched far beyond what they could see.

A train line was the only official way through.

Savra led the way, confident as always.

Zelia clutched her pouch a little tighter, eyes full of curiosity.

Zain followed behind them, hands in his pockets.

"Hope this train has decent seats," Zain muttered.

Savra smirked. "It has private cabins."

Zelia blinked. "Really?"

Savra winked. "You’ll see."

---

Savra had planned ahead.

She showed her digital ticket to the uniformed officer at the station gate.

It was a VIP Family Cabin.

It was usually meant for groups of three or four.

Perfect for them.

The officer checked the screen, then gave a respectful nod and gestured.

"Right this way."

They were escorted through a private side gate.

Into the high-end section of the train, past numerous areas.

When their cabin door slid open, Zelia’s eyes went wide.

"Whoa..."

The cabin was much larger than she expected.

There was a curved sofa along one wall that easily unfolded into a bed, plush and soft to the touch.

A mounted TV, gaming console, snack shelf and chilled drinks.

A panel with music and lighting controls lined the room.

At the back, there was even a private bathroom for them.

Zelia walked in slowly, eyes scanning everything.

"This is... insane."

Savra smirked as she followed her in.

"First time in VIP, huh?"

Zelia nodded, dazed.

"Yeah... I didn’t even know train cabins like this existed."

Savra tossed her coat onto the sofa and flopped down with a stretch.

"Well, get comfortable. This trip’s gonna take a while."

Zelia blinked. "Wait—how long?"

Savra raised an eyebrow. "At least two days."

Zelia’s jaw dropped. "Two?!"

"Of course," Savra said, pulling out her phone.

"We’re coming from CD-1. BB-1’s basically a different world. Miles away, multiple border layers."

Zain just entered silently.

He sat down on the far end of the sofa and leaned back with a sigh.

He kicked his feet up on the edge of the table, eyes half-closed.

"Hope no stupid trouble shows up along the way," he muttered.

Savra chuckled. "We’re in VIP, Zain. Relax."

He didn’t reply.

He just closed his eyes, already settling into the silence.

Zelia flopped onto the middle of the couch between them.

Arms stretched wide, smiling to herself.

"This might be the first time I’ve ever traveled like a rich girl."

Savra smirked. "Better get used to it."

---

They were all relaxing quietly.

Zain leaned back, arms crossed, eyes half-lidded.

Savra scrolled lazily through her phone, feet up.

Zelia had curled into the corner of the sofa with a warm drink.

She was looking out the window at the distant cityscape flashing by.

Then—

RUMBLE.

The train shook suddenly.

Not violently, but just enough to jolt everyone.

Zelia sat up straight, her brow furrowed.

"What was that?"

Savra looked up, her smirk gone.

"Felt like turbulence."

Zelia frowned. "But... we’re on a train."

Savra raised her eyebrow.

"Exactly. That’s why it’s weird."

"Rail systems like this shouldn’t shake like that unless something’s wrong."

Then came the ping.

The announcement screen lit up.

A crisp, calm male voice filled the cabin.

"Attention passengers."

"For safety reasons, all guests are to remain inside their cabins until further notice."

"Please do not attempt to leave. Thank you for your cooperation."

The speaker clicked off.

Savra sat forward slowly.

"We’re not allowed to leave now? That’s... unusual."

Zelia looked between them, concern rising.

"What’s going on?"

Zain’s eyes opened. He stretched once, then sat up fully.

"Looks like we’ve got an uninvited passenger."

And almost as if on cue—

CRACK!

A loud gunshot echoed faintly through the corridor.

Far off. But definitely real.

Zelia flinched, her drink spilled.

Zain looked at her, expression unchanged. ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com

"Yup. This is the kind of trouble I was talking about."

Savra stood slowly, eyes narrowing. "Looks like this trip just got interesting."

Zelia gripped the seat cushion tighter.

"We’re not gonna just stay here, right?"

Zain cracked his neck. "Depends."

He glanced at the door.

"If they come knocking—then we answer."
