Chapter 116- Blackmailed
Tyler's POV
I swear I stopped breathing for a second.
Those words hit like a wrecking ball.
Naomi and I stood frozen at the doorway, mouths hanging open. It felt like we had walked straight into the middle of a movie scene—only this wasn't fiction. This was real. It was happening right in front of us. And the crazy part? Neither Logan nor the other guy had noticed us standing there.
And speaking of the other guy... damn. He was hot. Tall, broad shoulders, sharp jawline, full lips that looked like they belonged on a magazine cover. Dark, effortlessly messy hair. Icy-blue eyes that could pierce right through you. He had this confident, almost dangerous smirk, the kind that made you feel like you were standing too close to a fire and, if you weren't careful, you'd get burned.
I had no idea who he was. But then Logan spoke, and the name slipped out— Lucas.
Lucas didn't even blink. He tilted his head slightly, amused, like Logan's confusion was funny to him. "You heard me," he said coolly, crossing his arms. "You are not deaf, and neither are you dumb.
"You know exactly what I said." His smirk widened. "And you're going to do what I tell you... or else."
Logan's entire body stiffened. I saw it—the flash of fear in his eyes before he quickly masked it with indifference. It was subtle, but it was there. Logan forced a chuckle. "You think I'm scared of you?" He scoffed. "I'm my father's only son. He doesn't have a choice but to accept me."
Lucas laughed.
It was slow. Mocking. Dangerous.
Naomi and I were standing there like we were watching some crazy reality show unfold in real time. I turned to her, gripping her wrist, signaling for us to leave. Because, honestly? This wasn't our business.
But Naomi, being the gossip freak she was, refused. She yanked her hand away and whispered, "I'm not going anywhere. If you want to go, go." Then she gave me this smug look and mouthed— I told you so.
I clenched my jaw. I knew exactly what she meant. She had always suspected something different about Logan. And now? Now she had proof.
Meanwhile, Logan and Lucas were still locked in their own world. Logan's jaw tightened. "Do your worst," he bit out.
Lucas raised an eyebrow. "Oh, I will." Then he smirked. "And I hope you know just how bad my worst can be."
Logan didn't flinch. At least, not visibly. But I could feel it.
Then Lucas moved. Slowly.
. He stepped closer, their bodies almost touching. And then—he reached out and placed a hand on Logan's chest. A soft, teasing touch. His fingers trailed lightly down the fabric of Logan's shirt. Then he leaned in, lips close to Logan's ear—so close I swear I saw Logan's breath hitch.
"You have one option, Logan," Lucas whispered, pressing his fingers against Logan's chest. "Continue dating me."
Silence. A thick, suffocating silence.
Then— "Or I tell your father everything."
My stomach dropped. I knew blackmail when I saw it. And this? This was pure blackmail. Lucas wasn't playing. He was dead serious. Even I could feel the pressure, and I wasn't even the one being threatened.
Logan's hands clenched into fists. "You think I give a damn?" he hissed. "I don't care. I'm not getting involved with you again, you bastard."
Lucas smiled. And somehow, that was worse than if he had gotten angry.
"Not caring is cute," Lucas mused, his fingers still resting on Logan's chest. "But let me tell you something, baby."
Logan's body tensed at the pet name. Lucas leaned in again, voice soft, almost seductive. "Coming back to me isn't the only thing I want."
Logan narrowed his eyes. "What the hell are you talking about?"
Lucas smirked. "Oh, Logan," he sighed dramatically. "I don't just want you back—I want you to be my bitch until I decide I'm done with you."
My breath caught in my throat.
Lucas kept going, tone smooth as silk. "This time, I won't dump you so you can move on." He paused, eyes locked on Logan's. "I'll dump you so you can stay."
Logan's fists clenched even tighter.
Lucas smiled wider. "You won't sleep with anyone else. You won't move on. You'll just wait for me."
He tilted his head. "And whenever I want you again?" A slow, predatory grin spread across his lips.
"We'll pick up right where we left off."
Naomi's mouth was hanging open. Wide. Like she was physically incapable of closing it. And honestly? I couldn't blame her. Because, really—how could anyone close their mouth in this situation? This was insane. Like, full-on, batshit crazy.
And Logan—Logan just laughed. A sharp, sarcastic sound
"You must be joking," he said, shaking his head, a bitter smirk curling on his lips.
Lucas? Lucas didn't even blink. Instead, he tilted his head, lips twitching upward in amusement.
"Do I look like a joker to you?" he drawled lazily. "Did you see me wearing clown makeup? Maybe standing on a stage with a mic in my hand?" His voice was smooth, dripping with amusement.
Logan's face hardened. Lucas took a slow step forward. Then another. His icy-blue eyes darkened. "It seems you've forgotten who I really am, Logan." His tone was softer now, but somehow, that made it worse. Deadlier. More dangerous.
"It seems so because if you really knew who I was, you wouldn't even argue with me." He let out a mock sigh, shaking his head. "You know I don't have patience," he murmured, eyes locked onto Logan's like a predator playing with its prey. "You know how impatient I can be."
His lips curled. "I'm giving you less than ten minutes to think about it." Then he pulled out his phone, waving it slightly in the air. "And time starts now." He tilted the screen toward Logan. Logan's father's name was displayed there. My stomach twisted.
"If you don't make the right decision," Lucas continued, his voice light, almost playful, "I'll dial this number. And I'll tell your dear father exactly who you really are."
This... This was beyond blackmail. This was warfare.
I had blackmailed people before—I wasn't some saint. But this? This was a different level. An entirely different game. I didn't even have the skill to blackmail like this. My version of blackmail was simple—make people close to me do what I wanted. But this? This was vicious. It was inhumane.
Logan's expression was unreadable. He stood stiff, his jaw clenched, his fists tight. But he didn't say anything. And that was when Lucas let out a chuckle. "Oh," he sighed dramatically.
"It seems you're forgetting something." Logan's eyes flickered, just slightly.
"I'm not the only one at risk here," he whispered, amusement flickering in his gaze.
"What makes you think I'm the only one who's going to take the fall?" Logan said and Lucas' smile widened.

"The difference about the both of us is that I do not really care."
"I would do every fucking I do to make your life miserable."
