His After The Heartbreak (BL)-Chapter 93: Exposed Secrets
Chapter 93 - Exposed Secrets
Chapter 93- Exposed Secrets
Tyler's POV
I blinked at Naomi, trying to process what she had just said.
Did I hear her right?
No—there was no way. She couldn't possibly know.
"Could you repeat that?" I asked, even though I had heard her loud and clear.
I just needed to hear her say it again, to be sure I wasn't imagining things.
Naomi smirked. "Oh, so you did hear me the first time?"
She leaned in slightly, lowering her voice like she was telling me a secret, except she wanted me to suffer while hearing it.
"I said—I know you and Logan had something secret going on."
My stomach twisted.
My hands clenched into fists under the table.
"I... I don't understand." My voice came out unsteady, and I hated that.
Naomi's eyes glinted with amusement. "I knew you were going to say that."
How the fuck does this girl know anything?
It didn't make sense. Naomi was a lot of things—loud, annoying, and way too nosy—but she wasn't supposed to know.
The last time she hinted at this was at that party. The one where she got so drunk she barely knew her own name. She had mumbled something about Logan and me having something, but I brushed it off. She was too wasted to remember.
Or so I thought.
But now? Now she wasn't drunk. Now she was looking at me like she had all the answers and was just waiting for me to break.
"How do you know that?" I asked carefully. "And how sure are you that there's even something between us?"
Naomi tilted her head, watching me like I was some kind of puzzle she had already solved.
"See, Tyler," she said, "that's exactly what you said last time."
I stiffened.
She leaned back, a smug expression on her face. "And the way you're reacting now? It's the same way you reacted in the hallway this morning when I brought it up. You keep denying it the same way, and you know what that means?" She grinned. "It means you're guilty."
I let out a fake laugh, hoping to brush it off.
She narrowed her eyes.
"That laugh was so fake it hurt my ears." Naomi shook her head. "You're trying to mask your discomfort. But it's not working."
I inhaled sharply, trying to steady myself.
"That's not what I asked," I said, making my voice firm. "I asked how you knew. What proof do you have?"
Naomi gave me a slow, wicked smile.
Oh, fuck.

I already knew I wasn't going to like what she was about to say.
"You want proof?" She folded her arms. "Fine. Let me lay it out for you."
I swallowed hard, but I kept my face blank.
"I first started suspecting when I noticed how Logan was staring at us," Naomi began. "It wasn't a normal stare, Tyler. It wasn't hate. It wasn't disgust. It was jealousy."
I flinched, but I hoped she didn't notice.
"He looked like we stole something from him," Naomi continued. "Like we had something he wanted, and he hated that. But the funny thing was... his face was so familiar. I knew I'd seen him before, but I couldn't place where."
I forced myself to remain still, though my pulse was racing.
"So I asked you where you knew him from," she said, watching me closely. "And you immediately denied knowing him."
She smirked. "Which only means one thing—you were lying."
I clenched my jaw, but she wasn't done.
"I brushed it off at first," Naomi continued. "Maybe you just didn't want to talk about it. But then—" she held up a finger—"I noticed the way you reacted when he left."
I didn't move.
"You turned around, staring after him like he was still standing there," she said. "And it wasn't just a glance, Tyler. You lingered. Like you were remembering something. Like you were feeling something."
I exhaled slowly, but my heart was pounding.
"My suspicions only grew after that," Naomi said, her voice smug. "But the moment I knew I was right was when I told you to go talk to him."
She smiled.
"And you immediately changed the subject."
"What made me believe it even more?" She leaned in, smirking. "It was when I saw you holding his hand."
I swallowed hard, keeping my expression blank.
"I walked into that dimly lit classroom, and the second you noticed me, you let go of his hand so fast it was almost funny. And that's when I put two and two together," she said, crossing her arms like she had just solved a murder case. "That, plus the way you denied knowing him earlier? Oh, Tyler, it all just makes so much sense now."
She beamed, like she had just won an award.
I raised an eyebrow, forcing a calm tone. "And you think all of that proves anything?"
Naomi didn't even hesitate.
"Tyler, don't waste your time trying to convince me otherwise," she said, waving a hand dramatically. "I already know the truth. You and Logan had something going on." She gave me a fake-sweet smile. "And as your fake girlfriend, I think I have the right to know exactly what you two had."
I clenched my jaw.
"I already told you, nothing is going on between us," I said firmly.
Naomi tilted her head and gave me a look.
Wrong move.
"Tyler, Tyler, Tyler..." She sighed, shaking her head. "Let's not lie to ourselves here, okay?"
She placed a hand on her chest, pretending to be deeply sincere. "Trust me, I'm not the type to expose people's secrets. So, if you do have something going on with Logan, I swear—your secret is safe with me." She even pounded her chest dramatically like she was taking a sacred oath.
I almost laughed.
What the hell was wrong with her?
Now, all of a sudden, she wanted to be some kind of therapist for me?
I leaned forward, lowering my voice. "Naomi, I'm telling you one last time—stay out of my business."
Her eyes twinkled with amusement.
"And if I don't?" she asked, her grin never fading.
"Then I'll cut you off."
That finally made her falter.
For a moment, I thought she might back off. But nope.
Naomi gasped, clutching her chest like I had just stabbed her. "Cut me off? Me? Your only friend?" she whined dramatically. "Tyler, you can't treat me like this! I'm all you have!"
I gave her a blank stare.
"If you don't learn to mind your business, Naomi, then you'll have to deal with it."
She pouted, but before she could say anything else, my phone buzzed.
I casually picked it up and started scrolling—until a certain video caught my attention.
I pressed play.
My eyes narrowed.
It was Naomi.
She was talking to someone.
No—she was warning someone.
And I already knew who it was.
Logan.
I felt something cold settle in my stomach.
Slowly, I turned the phone toward Naomi and fixed her with a glare.
"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" My voice was calm, but underneath it was a sharp edge.
Naomi blinked at the video and shrugged. "What? I was just having a conversation."
I gritted my teeth. "Do you have any idea what'll happen if you mention Logan's name in the wrong place?"
Naomi crossed her arms. "Why should I care? You already told me there's nothing between you two. So that means there's no reason for you to be worried, right?"
I chuckled darkly, shaking my head.
Naomi had no clue what she was messing with.
"Let me tell you something about Logan," I said, leaning closer. "And his dad."
Her cocky expression wavered.
"They're powerful, Naomi. Dangerous." My voice dropped lower. "They own shares in this school, in businesses, in places you can't even imagine. If you piss Logan off... your life can be ruined in the snap of his fingers."
I snapped my fingers for effect.
Naomi visibly tensed.
Good.
For the first time, she actually looked scared.
And that's when Logan walked up to us.
A smirk played on his lips. His gaze flicked to me, completely ignoring Naomi.
"Hope you didn't forget the deal we made," Logan said smoothly. His smirk widened. "Tell her your little dirty secret."
My heart slammed against my ribs.
I clenched my fists, trying to stay calm.
But before I could even respond, Naomi—who had just been warned—opened her mouth and said the absolute worst thing possible.
"Oh, you mean the secret that you two had something sexual together?"
Silence.
A heavy, suffocating silence.
I turned to Naomi slowly, my blood running cold.
She did not just—
Naomi
Was so.
Fucking.
Dead.
