Chapter 86 - Ready to Submit

It had been a couple of days since Noran disappeared without a trace. Roy had sent his men and reported the matter to the authorities, but no one could locate Noran.

He was last seen at Sung Medical Hospital, but witnesses claimed he left the hospital on his own without his bodyguards.

However, there was no evidence to support these claims.

Noran remained untraceable, and the police were at a standstill.

The pressure on Paragon's higher-ups and the devastating consequences of losing a world-renowned pianist weighed heavily on the city authorities. They were taking his disappearance seriously, but progress was slow.

Roy and his team were relentless, deploying all resources at their disposal to find Noran, but their efforts yielded no results. Every attempt to dig deeper into Sung Medical Hospital and Sigmund hit a dead end.

Roy even personally visited the hospital's chairman, leveraging his status and power.

Given the gravity of the situation, the chairman allowed a search by the authorities, but nothing related to Noran's disappearance was found.

Meanwhile, Sigmund sat in his office, clearly amused by their efforts to find Noran.

Of course, they couldn't locate him.

No one knew that the real master of the hospital was Sigmund himself.

Over the years, he had amassed full control over the hospital, with staff under his influence, starting from his parents.

Sung Medical Hospital was his ultimate stronghold, a place where he could easily capture anyone once they stepped inside.

Sigmund's plans had been disrupted twice when he failed to mind control Shuri during her sessions. She had caught his attention, and he had planned to take her by force afterward.

However, she stopped visiting the hospital and refused to continue working there.

When she was admitted to Sung Medical Hospital, Noran, a formidable man who was also immune to his power, protected her.

Outside the hospital, Noran had discreet bodyguards guarding her, making Shuri untouchable.

This was why Sigmund was greatly surprised when Shuri personally visited him in his office that afternoon.

"Dr. Lee, I didn't expect you to visit me. Please, have a seat," Sigmund welcomed her with a smile.

Shuri looked at Sigmund with an unreadable expression and sat down opposite him.

She took out a photo from her bag and placed it on the table. "Didn't you send me this because you want me to come to you?"

Sigmund glanced down at the photo.

It was a dimly lit image of Noran tied to a chair with a gag in his mouth, looking weak and unconscious.

Shuri had received the photo mailed to her that morning while waiting for news of Noran.

Feigning ignorance, Sigmund replied, "Are you saying I sent you this photo? I heard your fiancé is missing, Dr. Lee. You should let the police handle this."

"I'm already here as you wanted," Shuri said, cutting to the chase. "So, please, release Ran."

Sigmund looked at Shuri, noticing the clarity in her eyes as if she could see through him.

She had no concrete evidence that he had taken Noran, but she appeared confident in her accusation.

It seemed like she knew about his plan, yet she didn't hesitate to step into the trap he had set to capture her.

Or was her surprise visit a plan to trap him instead?

As if knowing he was skeptical of her motive, Shuri began to empty her bag, placing each item on the table methodically.

Then, she removed her coat and laid it on the table in front of him. "I didn't bring any recording devices and have nothing on me. If you don't believe me, you can search me."

Sigmund's eyes widened in surprise for a brief moment before he burst into laughter.

"You're much more than I thought," he said, clearly amused.

Slowly, he stood up and walked over to where Shuri was seated. She didn't flinch or show any signs of fear. Instead, she looked up at him with the same calm, determined expression.

"You allow me to search you?" he asked, leaning in closer, his voice dripping with curiosity.

"I want you to trust that I have nothing against you."

Shuri stood up calmly, her eyes fixed on Sigmund as she allowed him to begin his search without flinching, her demeanor composed and steady.

Sigmund's hands moved over her sides, then down her back, the touch invasive yet precise. His fingers trailed along the hem of her shirt before slipping underneath.

Shuri's expression remained unchanged, showing neither fear nor discomfort. It was as if she was already his puppet, and this intrigued him.

"Interesting," Sigmund murmured, his voice low as his hands continued their search.

Even without using his power, she appeared to be under his control—all because her lover was in his hands.

His hands moved slowly, deliberately, as if savoring the moment.

He searched for any hidden devices but also sought to assert his dominance.

Despite the invasive nature of his touch, Shuri remained unyielding, her eyes locked onto his, showing neither submission nor defiance.

"You know," Sigmund said, his voice carrying a hint of irritation, "I'm starting to find it quite annoying. I want you to obey me because of my presence, not because of another man."

"Release Ran, and I'll listen to you," Shuri replied in a calm tone.

His hands paused momentarily at her waist, and he leaned in closer, his breath hot against her ear. "See, you're still talking about another man. You have only him in your mind, and that annoys me."

Sigmund's voice dripped with authority as he leaned closer to Shuri. "From now on, your mind should only have me. I'm your master."

As soon as he finished saying those words, Sigmund gripped her chin and pressed his lips firmly against hers.

Shuri allowed him to kiss her, her body responding passively.

But suddenly, Sigmund felt a sharp headache and broke the kiss, startled by the sudden pain in his head.

When he looked back at Shuri, her gaze was empty, as if under his control.

A smirk spread across his face.

Did his power work?

"Who is your master?" he asked, testing the influence of his command.

"My master... you..." Her voice was monotone, and she appeared completely brainwashed.

Sigmund was thrilled and laughed, his excitement palpable.

From her stance, she resembled all the other puppets under his control. He didn't understand why he succeeded this time.

Was it because she had readily allowed him to brainwash her?

All for the sake of her fiancé?

"Did you miss your fiancé, Shuri?" he asked while patting her head.

Shuri didn't reply, still gazing blankly.

Sigmund continued, using her as a sounding board for his frustrations. "You know, Shuri, your fiancé has been really defiant. I have used all kinds of methods to get him to submit to me. I even injected him with poison..."

Sigmund looked down to see if there was any response.

But still, there was no reaction from Shuri.

"He wouldn't have to suffer so much pain if he would just listen to me. Do you think so too?"

"Yes, Master," Shuri answered robotically.

Sigmund seemed satisfied by her reply and said, "Maybe you can help me persuade him? I'm sure he'd be delighted to see you."

Shuri nodded obediently. "Yes, Master."

...

Noran was bound to a luxurious chair in a dimly lit room. Despite the poison coursing through his veins, causing an internal fever, his appearance remained immaculate.

Sigmund, who deeply appreciated Noran's supreme beauty, took meticulous care of him during his confinement.

The room had grand decor that suited Noran's handsome image.

Rich tapestries adorned the walls, and an elaborate chandelier hung from the ceiling, casting a soft, golden glow over the room. The furniture was opulent, with intricate carvings and plush upholstery.

Sigmund made sure to inject Noran with vitamins and keep him hydrated. When Noran refused to eat, Sigmund would administer necessary nutrients through injections.

He even had his servants clean and change Noran's clothes when he was unconscious. To prevent Noran from biting himself, Sigmund kept him gagged.

Although Sigmund had the tendency to destroy puppets that no longer interested him, he considered Noran his prize puppet.

He wanted to make sure Noran looked his best at all times, cherishing the supreme beauty he saw in him.

As Noran sat there, burning inside from the poison, his light blue eyes remained cold and defiant. Sigmund entered the room, his expression one of twisted delight.

"Ah, Mr. Kingston, you continue to amaze me with your resilience. How do you feel today?"

Noran glared at him, his eyes filled with hatred.

Sigmund chuckled, clearly entertained by Noran's defiance.

"You don't need to answer," Sigmund continued as he approached and injected Noran with another dose of vitamins.

"I already know you're in pain. But don't worry, my prized puppet, I've brought someone who will make you feel better."

Noran's heart skipped a beat.

Someone?

Was it Shuri?

The thought filled him with great despair.

Sigmund noticed the flicker of fear in Noran's eyes and smiled wickedly.

For the first time, he witnessed the anxiety in Noran's usually cold composure, savoring the rare moment.

"Yes," he confirmed, drawing out the word with a sinister delight. "It is her."

He turned towards the door and called out, "You may come in now."

Noran strained against his restraints, his eyes locked on the door.

Moments later, Shuri entered the room, her expression unreadable.
