With the scene shifting before their eyes, Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Black Panther, who had just been in the chaotic duel arena, now found themselves in a research laboratory deep underground somewhere.
The room brimmed with advanced workbenches and cutting-edge instruments. The power supply combined electricity and Kryon energy, while glass cases along the walls showcased various models of Iron Man suits.
"Where the heck are we?" Spider-Man asked, his voice tinged with confusion as he scanned the surroundings.
Black Panther appeared just as perplexed. Since the battle simulation was set in New York, it was safe to assume their 'Red Team base' must also be somewhere within the city.
"This... is one of my private workshops," Iron Man said while removing his mask and stepping toward a control panel. He tapped a few keys, and the mainframe came to life, illuminating the workshop and confirming his statement.
"Mr. Stark, are you saying this is your personal workshop? So, are we inside the Stark Tower?" Spider-Man asked with a curious expression on his face.
"It's a virtual space," Black Panther interjected. The entire environment here and everything they are seeing is simulated, allowing for unrestricted use and destruction.
"This is one of my workshops, but it's not in Stark Tower," Iron Man explained, his tone thoughtful. "It's a private site on the outskirts of New York. I built it about six months ago for the Ultron project, but it's been left unused since the Sokovia incident."
"Never thought this place would end up as our Red Team's base," He added, his expression turning serious. "Those three sorcerers must've arrived somewhere in this virtual New York by now."
Spider-Man and Black Panther tensed. The competition had begun the moment they landed here.

Meanwhile, as Iron Man predicted:
In the heart of the virtual New York City, within a seemingly unremarkable church, Ancient One, Mordo, and Doctor Strange stood on the second floor.
The church's modest exterior belied the treasures it held— mystical artifacts of immense power. Mordo's eyes swept over the collection, and astonishment began to flicker across his face.
"This... this is the New York Sanctum?" He asked, stunned that their hidden stronghold had been replicated so perfectly and designated as their Blue Team base. It hinted that Kyle and the Carl Kingdom had discovered its location.
"For that man, it's no surprise," Ancient One said with a knowing smile on her face. "Kyle found the New York Sanctum years ago."
Doctor Strange, wary yet curious, reached out to touch one of the artifacts. As he channeled his magic through the sling ring, the artifact began to glow, emitting a shimmering, ethereal light.
"Incredible. This is a virtual space, right? And yet... these artifacts actually work," He marveled.
"It's likely Kyle possesses something akin to the Cauldron of the Cosmos," Mordo said gravely. "Otherwise, recreating the New York Sanctum with this precision would be impossible. The fact that even the Sanctum was detected shows the lengths to which Kyle and his kingdom will go."
"Enough," Ancient One said calmly. "We're here to play by their rules. Defend the Sanctum, defeat the opposing team, or destroy their base— those are our objectives so let's stick to that."
"The Sanctum is already shielded by its natural barriers. Ordinary people can't perceive it. We have an edge here as sorcerers," She added.
Mordo gazed out the second-floor window at the sprawling cityscape below. "Honestly, it's hard to imagine how we could lose."
With Ancient One leading them and their base fortified as a sorcerer's haven, their odds seemed insurmountable.
"So, what's the plan?" Doctor Strange asked, feeling out of his depth. He resolved to let Ancient One and Mordo handle the strategy.

New York Suburbs, Private Underground Laboratory
Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Black Panther stood in a triangular formation, hashing out their plan.
"Our opponents need no introduction," Iron Man began, leaning casually against a workbench. "Especially that nun-like figure. I've heard Father mention her before. Even he treads lightly around her. If we could avoid facing her, we would."
"If defeating them head-on isn't an option, our best chance is to find and destroy their base," Black Panther suggested, his mind racing through possibilities.
"Even a child could figure that out," Iron Man replied with a touch of sarcasm. "The real question is, how do we find their base before they find ours?"
Spider-Man hesitated, then offered, "Since our base is in your workshop, Mr. Stark, maybe their base is in a place tied to their expertise? They're Sorcerers, so... maybe a church or something similar?"
"That's a good guess," Black Panther said, his eyes lighting up.
"It is but it doesn't help much," Iron Man shot back. "New York has dozens of churches, and I doubt satellites or scanners can locate their base if it's shielded by magic."
"Oh, right. Magic," Spider-Man groaned, slapping his forehead. "We don't stand a chance against that with just the three of us."
"Exactly," Iron Man said, a plan forming. "If three isn't enough, we'll need reinforcements."
"Reinforcements?" Spider-Man repeated in a puzzled voice.
Black Panther's gaze shifted to the workbench, where rows of Iron Man suits stood ready. "I see where this is going," he said with a small smile.
"Thank you, Spider-Boy. Your random comment just sparked the idea we needed," Iron Man said with a smirk. "We represent scientific civilization here. Everything built by science in this era is a weapon we can use."
Iron Man donned his helmet, his excitement palpable. "This lab isn't just a base— it's the way to turning the whole city into our arsenal."
"What did I say?" Spider-Man asked, utterly bewildered.
Black Panther patted him on the shoulder. "What Stark means is that the power of science is our greatest asset. Charging in without using it would be foolish."
With determination in his voice, Iron Man declared, "Given what I know about them, the resources at hand, and the battlefield we're on, I've got a plan. One that might just let us beat them."
