Chapter 635 - IMUC Chapter 627 The Unbeatable Sorcerer

Virtual New York City, Military Base Headquarters, Nuclear Weapons Control Room

Black Panther's sharp gaze fixed on the console screen. The countdown flashed: ''00:03:02''— just three minutes left.

"Just hold on a little longer," He muttered, willing his distant teammates to keep the two Sorcerers occupied.

Then, he heard it— a faint rustling sound. His head snapped toward the control room door, and his body went still. Sparks of light spun in the air, forming a glowing ring. Moments later, a boot emerged from the swirling portal.

"You!"

Black Panther's eyes hardened, and he instinctively dropped into a combat stance. His Vibranium claws slid out, catching the dim light of the control room.

Draped in a deep-red cloak and wearing his Sorcerer's robes, ''Doctor Strange'' stepped through the portal. With a wave of his hand, he sealed the spell gateway behind him, cutting off the connection to the New York Sanctum.

"Black Panther, right?" Strange said, his eyes narrowing. "Why are you here instead of defending your team's base?"

He already knew the significance of this place, which was precisely why he had taken the risk of leaving the Sanctum to come here. His instincts and reasoning screamed that something catastrophic was brewing if he didn't intervene.

Black Panther didn't flinch as he answered. "Nothing much," he said, his tone even. "Just here to give Sorcerers a taste of the power of science."

Before his words could settle, Black Panther launched himself like a pouncing predator. His Vibranium claws slashed toward Doctor Strange in a swift, deadly arc.

Strange reflexively leaned back, but his human reaction speed was no match for Black Panther's superhuman agility. It seemed inevitable that the claws would connect—until, at the last moment, a corner of the ''Cloak of Levitation'' flared forward, wrapping around Black Panther's right arm.

"Nice one!" Doctor Strange exclaimed, quickly forming a spell. A glowing golden whip materialized in his hands, lashing out at Black Panther's chest.

Sparks flew in all directions as the whip struck, but the Vibranium suit remained completely unscathed— and there was not even a scratch as it absorbed the blow effortlessly.

"What kind of armor is this?" Strange asked, momentarily stunned.

Black Panther didn't give him time to process. His free hand shot toward Strange's throat, but the Cloak intercepted again, coiling tightly around his wrist. Before he could break free, the enchanted fabric twisted around his legs, pinning him entirely.

The two combatants now found themselves face-to-face with their bodies pressed together like a pair of cocooned insects tangled in a bizarre embrace.

'Thud'

They both tumbled to the ground, thrashing in a chaotic struggle.

"Your cloak is so annoying!" Black Panther growled, clawing at the resilient fabric, only to find that even his Vibranium claws couldn't tear through it.

"Right back at you!" Strange shot back, equally frustrated. While Black Panther couldn't escape the cloak, Strange was helpless against the Vibranium suit.

"Fine, you've bound my limbs. But I still have my head. Let's see how you handle this!" Black Panther lowered his head and delivered a brutal headbutt, leaving Doctor Strange reeling and disoriented.

Close combat against a warrior like T'Challa was proving to be a disastrous idea for the Sorcerer.

Before Black Panther could deliver another headbutt, Doctor Strange grabbed him tightly and unleashed his magic. In a flash, their ''souls separated from their physical bodies'', leaving their entangled forms lying motionless on the floor of the control room.

"What's going on? There are two of me now?" T'Challa, still clad in his Vibranium suit, stared in shock at his own lifeless body on the ground. Then, he turned to see Doctor Strange's floating astral form.

"You wanted to show me the power of science," Strange said with a smirk. "Let me show you the power of magic."

With that, Doctor Strange threw a punch, his ethereal fist connecting squarely with T'Challa's nose. The impact sent the Black Panther's soul flying several meters into the control console, causing the real-world chair to wobble slightly from the force.

Taking a deep breath, Doctor Strange raised his fists and assumed a basic boxing stance.

"Now that your suit is out of the equation, let's see how you handle me in close combat."

"Then let's find out!"

T'Challa's soul lunged from the console, tackling Strange. The two tumbled through the air, grappling as they phased through the walls and floors of the military base. Their fierce ''soul battle'' played out like an ethereal storm, each blow leaving subtle ripples in the environment around them.

This extraordinary ''soul battle'' was projected onto the screens outside, where both participants and spectators could watch in awe.

In addition to this fight, two other battles were being displayed on adjacent screens:

One shows the clash between the ''Ancient One Sorcerer'' and the ''Mark Legion'', and the other features ''Sorcerer Mordo'' battling ''Spider-Man''.

The audience, both participants and spectators alike, watched in silence. There were no cheers, no commentary— just awe.

Unlike movie effects, this was real—an intense collision of superhuman abilities, technology, and magic. The combat mixed cunning strategies with raw power, completely shattering the audience's understanding of reality.

Watchtower, Central Control Room.

Logan studied the three simultaneous battles on the screens, letting out a low whistle.

"Incredible. All six of them are monsters. Even Spider-Man and Strange, though a bit green in combat, have insane potential. I don't think I could take them." He sighed. "Man, getting old sucks."

Kyle chuckled. This match was a spectacle of the highest caliber.

"What really gets me is Tony," Kyle said, his focus on the Ancient One's screen. "Bringing back the old Mark Legion... it's rare to see that side of him."

But his eyes narrowed. The key to this battle was whether Stark's team could keep the Ancient One occupied. Her power wasn't just strength; it was ''unfathomable strength''.

"Who do you think will win?" Logan asked.

Kyle didn't answer immediately. His gaze lingered on the screen, watching the Ancient One move with quiet precision.

"It's hard to say," He finally replied. "She hasn't even started using her full power yet."

The Ancient One moved with effortless grace. With each wave of her glowing hands, another Mark suit disintegrated into fragments.

In mere minutes, dozens of highly advanced Mark armors had been obliterated, leaving only a handful struggling to stay operational.

Tony's soul hovered nearby, powerless to intervene. He could only watch.

"You're running out of time and tricks," The Ancient One said with a calm and gentle smile on her face.

Tony smirked. "Don't be so sure. Do you know why I chose Stark Tower as the battlefield?"

The Ancient One frowned, sensing something amiss. Her gaze shifted to the floor beneath her feet.

Half a second later—

''Boom!''

The timed explosives, planted earlier within Stark Tower, detonated. The deafening roar of the explosion echoed like thunder, and the entire skyscraper collapsed with the force of an avalanche.

The ground across the entire virtual New York City trembled violently under the massive explosion.

When the dust settled, a glowing ''fiery portal'' appeared atop the smoking ruins.

The Ancient One stepped out, unharmed, her expression unshaken.

"So, that's what you were planning," She said softly.

Tony's soul grimaced. This was the trump card of the Sorcerers: the ''Mirror Dimension'', a safe haven that rendered even the most catastrophic attacks useless.

With this single power, Earth's Sorcerers were almost unbeatable.
