I Am the Only Fertile Woman in the Game-Chapter 182 - Stranger
Chapter 182: Chapter 182 Stranger
Chapter 182 -182 Stranger
When she opened her eyes again, it was an unfamiliar ceiling.
Qiao Suisui propped herself up with her arm, got out of bed, and took two steps forward. Suddenly, she felt as though all her strength had been drained, leaving her body limp and her feet as if they were stepping on cotton.
She clutched her stomach and collapsed onto the cold floor, forcing herself to gather her thoughts and observe her surroundings.
The layout of the room was exceedingly ordinary. All sharp and dangerous household items were conspicuously removed, with walls on all sides and no windows. The only source of light came from the overhead fluorescent lamp, which cast a frigid and lifeless glow across the room.
“Is anyone there?”
“Who’s out there?”
Through the shadow in the crack of the door, Qiao Suisui saw someone standing just outside. She fixed her gaze on the door and asked coldly, “Since you’ve captured me, why bother hiding like a coward?”
The person outside the door remained silent, paused briefly, and then walked away.
The days that followed were the same.
The person outside would come daily, lingering for five to six minutes. At first, Qiao Suisui tried to force them to talk. Later, she simply ignored them. Her three meals were delivered punctually, complete with balanced nutrition. The room also included a bathroom and toilet, meeting all basic living needs. Yet, under the oppressive confinement, her mood progressively worsened.
One morning, upon waking, Qiao Suisui discovered a new pinprick on her arm.
She stared at the inconspicuous dot on the blue vein, feeling a chill run up her spine.
When did this happen?
She hadn’t felt a thing…
And she had no idea whether they had injected her with some drug or drawn her blood.
What on earth was their purpose for capturing her?
Qiao Suisui forced herself to stay calm, trying to access Zong Fang’s space. But something outside the room seemed to block and suppress everything as though thoroughly isolating it.
If she couldn’t access the space here, it would mean Carl’s breakthrough couldn’t reach this place either.
Realizing this, Qiao Suisui sank against the icy wall, consumed by despair.
…
Meanwhile, someone else was equally despairing—
“What do you mean you found nothing? Did you even bother looking? If you’ve found nothing, don’t come see me!” Library growled angrily at their subordinates. The dark circles under her eyes were a stark contrast to her former composure.
Carl rested his elbows on his knees, clutching his hair as he sat on the sofa. No one could see his expression, but the oppressive aura surrounding him was palpable.
Library stormed past Carl, her frustration like a caged animal desperate for escape, erupting without warning. “You’re absolutely useless.”
Carl lifted his head at the words, his crimson eyes glaring fiercely at Library, his furious expression terrifying to the extreme.
Undeterred, Library stared back at him in hateful defiance. “You were the closest to her at the time. Why didn’t you grab hold of her hand?”
The veins on Carl’s temple bulged. For once, his usually sharp tongue failed him. Gritting his teeth, he could muster no rebuttal.
As he was about to stand and leave, Library, like a rabid dog, refused to let him escape.
“Aren’t you supposed to go anywhere you want? Find her, damn it! Tell me where she is! Tell me! Bring her back to me!!” Library seized Carl by the collar, screaming so fiercely that tears slid down her cheek.
Carl threw a punch directly at her face. Library retaliated, and the two fell to the ground, brawling viciously, each blow landing hard and mercilessly.
Ruka walked in and saw overturned chairs and tables alongside the two fighting. In the next second, his gaze shifted indifferently. He silently approached the medical cabinet, removing his shirt. Previous wounds that had reopened multiple times now bled again. The freshly sealed gashes split open once more. His face was devoid of emotion as he applied medicine, disinfected the wounds, changed the bandages, and slipped back into the blood-stained shirt. Then, expressionless, he walked out again.
It had been like this for days. He tirelessly searched for Qiao Suisui’s whereabouts outside, without resting for even a moment. The wounds that ought to have healed were repeatedly aggravated and remained stubbornly unhealed. And yet, he no longer felt the pain. Ruka measured each moment by the second, refusing to waste even a breath, though he paused at the doorway.
“If you have time to fight, go find her for me.”
With that, he left without looking back.
…
The Soter Republic.
Inside the Pentagon Building, Zong Fang knelt at the door of the Prime Minister’s office. Passersby didn’t dare breathe loudly but stole glances toward the handsome man kneeling there.
“Have you heard? That’s the Prime Minister’s son.”
“What? Why’s he kneeling here? Impossible. I heard the Prime Minister’s son is quite a character. Kneeling in public like this—shameless!”
“You don’t know? He’s been kneeling here for three days. He hasn’t budged, hasn’t moved an inch.”
“Really? But isn’t his temper supposed to be awful? I thought he was at odds with the Prime Minister. Has something happened to make him beg like this?”
“No idea. People gossip about him being ruthless. When he first came in, I thought he was going to tear the place down. Turns out rumors need to be taken with a grain of salt. There’s nothing special about him besides his looks.”
“Shhh, enough talking. Let’s go.”
Zong Fang ignored the stares and whispers around him, keeping his head bowed and remaining still. The nervous-looking secretary approached cautiously, trying to persuade him, “Please don’t make this difficult for us. Go back for now. The Prime Minister said he won’t see you.”
Zong Fang lifted his gaze, the coldness in his eyes making the secretary’s knees weaken and tremble.

“There’s no need for this. The Prime Minister knows exactly why you’re here. He asked me to pass along a message.” Sneaking closer, the secretary shielded his mouth and whispered, “She’s safe. Don’t come again.”
Upon hearing this, Zong Fang’s pupils contracted sharply. He grabbed the secretary’s collar and spoke with the grating tone of a rusted door, “Say that again.”
The secretary stuttered, repeating, “She…she’s safe. Don’t… Hey! Hey! You can’t go in!”
Before the words were fully spoken, Zong Fang swung his hand, sending the secretary crashing into the wall and onto the table with a loud thud. Employing his spiritual power, he blasted through the office door and stormed inside.
Zong Yan was in the middle of a meeting. Seeing Zong Fang, he displayed no surprise, instead calmly gesturing for the others to leave and instructing the room to be cleared.
Once everyone had left, Zong Fang spoke urgently, “You’re the one who captured her?”
Zong Yan sat in the executive chair, answering unhurriedly, “Yes.”
Zong Fang’s breathing quickened, the unstable rise and fall of his chest visibly pronounced. He stepped forward, his eyes bloodshot, fists pounding the desk as he shouted, “Why?!”
Closing his eyes briefly after asking, he no longer wanted to know the answer and demanded, “Where is she? Tell me where she is!”
Zong Yan studied his long-estranged son. He had grown visibly thinner, his appearance pale like someone who had been gravely ill. Exhaustion clung to him, yet his bloodshot eyes radiated a terrifying determination. Zong Yan paused for a long moment before he replied, “Look at yourself. Groveling before me over a female. Is this what I taught you?”
Unable to bear it any longer, Zong Fang unleashed a punch powered by his full spiritual force directly at Zong Yan.
