Using his shield to deflect energy blasts, Captain America swiftly closed the distance, taking down several Chitauri soldiers with a few well-placed punches and kicks. He then turned to Chen Ye, his expression serious.

"Buddy, this area is dangerous. I suggest you find a safe place to hide!"

After delivering his warning, Captain America rushed off to support other parts of the battlefield.

Watching Captain America's retreating figure, Chen Ye suddenly smiled.

During the last realm-wide mission, he had killed a clone of Captain America. Now, in this realm, he had been "saved" by the real one?

What a coincidence.

For the sake of this serendipitous encounter, he decided he would spare Captain America once when the time came.

At that moment, Chen Ye finally spotted Loki.

The trickster was piloting a hovercraft, chasing after Iron Man.

In his hand was the Mind Scepter.

Without hesitation, Chen Ye shot into the air.

"Boom!"

A deafening sonic boom erupted like thunder, startling the nearby Chitauri soldiers.

Even Captain America, who hadn't gone far, was shocked.

Then, in Captain America's eyes, the bald man collided with Loki's hovercraft.

At that moment, Thor had just arrived on the scene. Seeing Loki being held by a bald man and struggling to breathe, he was horrified.

Despite Loki's mistakes, he was still Thor's brother, an Asgardian.

If anyone was to punish Loki, it should be Asgard.

"Loki!!"

Thor roared, preparing to intervene. But the bald man simply took the scepter from Loki's hand and casually tossed him aside before flying off.

Chen Ye didn't bother killing Loki because he had no interest in getting entangled with these people right now.

He needed to secure the Space Stone first.

This was because the Tesseract's outer shell acted as a protective layer for the Space Stone, preventing its energy from leaking out.

Under normal circumstances, someone without knowledge of magic wouldn't be able to use the Tesseract.

Direct contact with the stone inside was required to activate its energy.

However, ordinary humans couldn't withstand the violent energy of an Infinity Stone. Touching it would almost certainly result in death!

Chen Ye knew this.

Without hesitation, he clenched his fist tightly!

The strength of his current body was something even he couldn't fully gauge.

If the energy of the Infinity Stone could overwhelm his body, then so be it—he'd accept defeat!

"Crack!"

The Tesseract shattered in his grip, revealing the Space Stone inside.

Many of the Chitauri forces hadn't even made it through!

Their path was cut off.

Seeing this, the Avengers were overjoyed.

Although there were still plenty of aliens roaming the city, with the Avengers present, those aliens wouldn't pose much of a threat.

"Where did this bald guy come from?"

Iron Man's voice was the first to come through the team's communicators. "How did he know how to close the portal?"

"No idea!" Black Widow replied. "He looks unfamiliar. I've never seen him before."

Hawkeye: "Regardless, he's done us a huge favor."

Captain America: "Let's focus on cleaning up these aliens first. They're still slaughtering innocent civilians!"

The superheroes chatted casually as they hunted down the remaining Chitauri, their tone noticeably more relaxed.

Only Loki was unhappy.

In fact, as he watched the spatial rift close, his expression was one of utter despair!

"No!!" Loki shouted. "How could this happen?"

Then, he quickly realized that the scientist must have tricked him. Otherwise, how could the portal have been closed so easily?

"Loki!"

At that moment, Thor rushed over, grabbing Loki by the collar.

"Look at what you've done! Tell me, where did you get this alien army?"

Faced with Thor's interrogation, Loki's expression shifted unpredictably, his eyes darting around as he clearly plotted an escape.

Loki was nothing if not adaptable. With his plan in ruins, his first thought was to find a way out and regroup for another attempt.

Just as Loki was about to concoct a lie to deceive his gullible brother, another sudden change occurred.

"Boom!"

As if struck by a massive force, the entire Stark Tower collapsed, reduced to rubble.

In mid-air, the bald man still floated, his expression unreadable.

This scene once again left everyone in shock.

"No!! My tower!"

Stark yelled, immediately abandoning his pursuit of the Chitauri and flying back to confront Chen Ye.

"Hey! Buddy! What's going on?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Chen Ye said with a smile. "I destroyed it."

Stark was stunned, then demanded, "Why would you do that? Do you have any idea how much that tower meant to me?"

"It seems you still don't understand the situation."

Chen Ye's expression suddenly turned cold as he declared, "From now on, every day, I will destroy one city until I've annihilated this planet and killed every living thing on it!"

His words left everyone speechless.

They all stared at Chen Ye as if he were insane.

What he said was simply too grandiose and exaggerated!

Even Loki was frozen in place.

Even as a villain, he had never entertained such a mad idea!

"Buddy, are you... okay up there?" Stark pointed to his own head. "Do I need to call a mental hospital for you? But even if you're crazy, you're still paying for my tower!"

Seeing that no one believed him, Chen Ye decided it was time to make them face reality.

Although, in truth, he was just bluffing to collect fear points...
